Enjoyed my stay at FG, its a clean and well run complex. its not perfect but ive stayed in worse for more. In fact my only complaint is checking in which could be speeded up with a little thought, maybe filling the forms in on the transfer bus, or taking a photocopy of your... more

My wife and I have just returned from a week at Fiesta Gardens, and would like to share our experiences. We were on the second floor and got about 10mins of sun last thing in the day. Entertainment wasn't up to much,a quick game of bingo to win 8euros,followed by a 10... more

It was mine and my parents first time at Corralejo and I really enjoyed it, the hotel wasn't the best but it had what you needed, the entertaiment at the hotel wasn't the best and it could do with being painted, but the cleaners come to our room nearly everyday, the staff... more

Hi, we have just returned from 2 weeks at the corralejo gardens. So I would just like to share my thoughts. The apartments are very basic and in much need of re-furbishment but it is bareable as its not forever. The maids came nearly everyday, most days they just did a... more

More Traveller Reviews of Fiesta Apartments Corralejo Gardens

Ignore negative and miserable reviews!!!
1. Five in our party for two rooms. 2. The rooms were just fine: fridge; kettle; television (granted it had to be paid for 1e=1 hour but youre on holiday WHY NEED A TV???); clean beds and linens; clean towels everyday; baloconies spacious; and fans in bedrooms (great at night). 3. The bar/food area was fine. We had a few snacks which were sufficient. Alcohol and soft drinks were cheap considering its in the complex. The size of the bar/food area was decent, well enough seating and attention. 4. Reception were attentive and helpful. Security excellent. We were stopped by the receptionist after midnight and asked to prove we were staying there. 5. The rep was friendly. We didnt have much dealings with her, but she was curtious and offered assistance often. 6. The pool was lovely and refreshing, especially after being blitzed by the sun by the pool and by the sea. 7. The apartments location was perfect. 5-10 minutes walk to main area/strip. 8. Waikiki beach was again approx 10 minutes walk and it is lovely with not too many people hammering it. The bonus is that it only has a few loungers on the beach which seemed reserved for apartments near by. It was refreshing not to be crammed on the beach, the place was much more spontaneous and relaxed for all to enjoy. There are two lovely beach bars there too. 9. Restaurants are in abundance. Notable ones overlooking the harbour and in the music square. 10. Some great bars dotted around. If you want a nice beer without the Brits then drift around the back streets and there are a few gems. If you want to stick to what you know and feel happier being predictable then there are plenty of British and Irish pubs for you (we are not really into that British sticking together scene but some are actually quite decent). Overall the place is great. We have been there a few times and love it. (Surfing is great too if youre into that). So ignore the moans. I mean come on, what people expect with what the brochure charges i dont know, but believe me the Corralejo Gardens are just fine for families, couples, pensioners and sociable holidays for groups. Enjoy the place and people, its lovely!!!
never again
just arrived home from fuerteventura we stayed at the collalejo gardens.BIG MISTAKE the place is awful dark and dingie rooms the pics on the corralejo web site are nothing at all what you get.i dont know where thay got the pictures of the rooms from but thay ARE NOTof the appartments .and the place in total is a 1key nothing more.the bar is so small around 10 tables for the amount of people staying there is daft, but saying that you woulded want to stay its so low key you would fall asleep.i can say the maids work hard thay change towels nearly every day .
Fantastic
After booking this holiday as a last min deal over the net & reading the reviews on here, we were a little bit worried about staying here thinking it was going to be awful. It was lovely! I don't know what they were on about the people who complained about this place. It was clean, close to beach, bars & restaurants. Yeah, ok the decor might be a bit '80's' but who cares. Nothing was falling to pieces & it was very clean & the maids came 5 times in a week. The only thing that didn’t appeal to us was the bar & entertainment but that is just us & not really our cup of tea. We prefer to be where all the restaurants are. If you do book this place please ignore the negative reviews 'cos we had a fab time.
be careful - balconies wobbly
Just returned from a week here. Originally put in a tiny apartment directly above the bar and music. No way were we staying there & the receptionist offered us another 2 room choices. On the plus side the alternative room was spacious and towels changed every 2 days and cleaned every day. the receptionists spoke english & were helpful. On the negative side the very very small balcony at the back (we were on the top floor) which overloked the school had a balcony bannister made of wood which wobbled if you touched it. I think it would be extremely unsafe if you leant on it / were drunk and wobbled towards it or children went near it. PLEASE be careful. Overall the hotel was dated, the views into the small pool area were not for us. The gym was out of action becuase of a hole in the ceiling (water damage) but looked liked it hadn't been used for years. Yeah, I would go back but not worth the brochure price.
Okay
We first came to this resort in 2004 loved it, stayed at Oasis papygyo fantastic hotel. Second year stayed here, its ok very basic, not to clean, didnt want to cook to many ants. beds were made about 2 a week. never went near the pool sun only came up on one side due to the hotel surrounding it very shaded. We had a great time anyway because of the place. We are going again this sunday and staying in Mira Lobos hoping for a better hotel this time. wouldnt really recommend this hotel. Go to Rosie O'Gradys Irish bar really friendly food great.
Awful
Awful, kettle broken, toilet would not stop running had to pay for the TV then it didn't work, rooms dirty and shabby. How Thompson can call it a 3T only became clear on speaking to the rep. It doesn't relate to any star rating so they can call it what they want! Don't bother, we complained but have heard no more!!
Great time
This is the second time i have been to this hotel and have had a great time on both occasions. The first time i visited the food here was just about acceptable second time round the food was great. The pool area was clean as well as the pool itself, there were plenty of sun beds available even though the place was nearly full. The rooms were very clean, sheets changed every 3 days towels changed every other the staff here were very helpfull and i found them to be quite honest when it came to recomending scuba diving hireing a jeep and other things.will definetly come here again and again.
dump
Having just returned from these apartments with my 67 year old mother all that can be said is what a dump. Rooms smell, have ants, back of apartments used by locals for dogs to mess on, pool unsafe, cleaning abyssmal, rep not interested, shall i go on. Resort also a dump.Bars and restaurants hasseling you to go in, dirty, tacky gift shops. If that is what i wanted would have gone to Blackpool. Only decent beaches miles away, need bus or taxi to get to.Hope this is of use to anyone and stops them having the worst holiday ever.
Will be back
Great value appartment that was both large and comfortable and the pool area was superb. My wife and I found the staff both helpful and friendly and the experience was a good one. just a short stroll from the centre of Corralejo with its lovely promenade and plenty to do nightlife for all ages. Say hello to Colin whom runs the bar just opposite the hotel where you get the best larger in the resort, probably because he keeps all his glasses in the freezer. Make sure you visit in january when the tempretures are in the 20s and its not to busy but beware you still have to get those towels on the loungers early. Food and drinks are cheap as is electrical goods and we think the beaches are as goods as anywhere in the canaries. we booked on Teletex and the cost for both of us was only £215 including insurance so grab yourself a bargain and book tonight, you wont be dissapointed. Have a great time, perhaps we will see you in the 1st week in january. Mines a JD and coke and Theresa takes a large white wine! Enjoy!!!!
never again
Just returned from fiesta corralego apartments in fuerteventura.Room was not cleaned all week beds never change bins emptied twice. The balcony was so small no privacy at all glad we were on top floor looking over the back as it had a tiny balcony looking over to the school which was a better view than the front.English breakfast a new one to us since when did we eat cold ham cheese and tomato with bacon and egg Resort lovely but only one problem dogs leaving all there messages about where ever you walked even on that lovely promanade round to the marina.
