Enjoyed my stay at FG, its a clean and well run complex. its not perfect but ive stayed in worse for more. In fact my only complaint is checking in which could be speeded up with a little thought, maybe filling the forms in on the transfer bus, or taking a photocopy of your passport, hanging around for 15 minutes or more is not what you want after half a day of traveling. If it was not for this I would have given it 8 out 10.
Its very central and the facilities are good. the staff are friendly and from what I could see the room are clean and tidy. I would book again with confidence and I probably will.

November break in Corralejo
6 / 10
Dec 2008, snuffles

My wife and I have just returned from a week at Fiesta Gardens, and would like to share our experiences. We were on the second floor and got about 10mins of sun last thing in the day. Entertainment wasn't up to much,a quick game of bingo to win 8euros,followed by a 10 question multichoice quiz!(At least I won a cap and a T-shirt for that), oh,yes, and the "music" was repeated C D's(I think I know the Lighthouse Family songs by heart now!).The apartment was basic, but we thought that a microwave could be placed in the apartment as there was no oven;you had to pay 4.20 euros to watch TV, and that lasted just 24hours whether the telly was on or off, however as there was no "on/off" switch,if you pulled the plug out, the timer would stop and would only continue whist the telly was on.
We found some good bars in the old town, especially Castaways, and their host Phil Richards,(ex member of The Dakotas, he informed us), did an excellent Neil Diamond Show; The Talk of the Town was ok if you liked music quizzes and Karaoke. The restaurants were all touting for your business, I collected 12 cards on one evening, but we enjoyed the food in Castaways.
Weather was 20-22 degrees all week, but blowy the last 2 days of our holiday. We had an enjoyable time but asked if we'd go back to Feurteventura and Fiesta Gardens? Answer is no.

Cheap and Cheerful Holiday Fun
8 / 10
Nov 2008, drumrog

Its good to see a few positive reviews of this accomodation. We booked 4 weeks in advance for 2 adults in a one bedroom appartment for 2 weeks. Haing paid a total of £680 total including flight, transfers and accomodation, we were very satisfied with the result.
The Corralejo Gardens is not 5 Star but you get what you pay for and we considered it good value. All the staff, without exception were polite, attentive and helpful. The rooms were cleaned 10 out of the 14 days to a high standard. The maids work very hard despite constantly being "barked" at by a domineering battle-axe of a supervisor. This was something customers shouldn't have to listen too but as all the appartments face inward to the pool area we had to listen to her daily rants.
This however was the only criticism.
The pool and gardens were maintained to a high standard but the pool was icy cold.
We had a ground floor appartment facing the pool and enjoyed eating every meal at the appartment "Al fresco" surveying the pretty pool area as we did this. It was also nice to chill on our terrace with a nightcap from the very efficient fridge before going to bed. We did however found that the twin electric rings defrosted the icebox when cooking. (We just temporarily pulled out the fridge whilst cooking)
The happy hour was the best value in Corralejo when the hotel bar sold local drinks "buy one get one free." Beware of the weekly Snake Show if you don't like having a 12 foot python hung round your neck!!
Sherrie the rep was as helpful as she could be any time we asked for advice and information. The hotel provided a shower room, free of charge for anyone checking out substantially before their flight was due.
This holiday is the first we have been on when the hotel prices for food and drink are significantly cheaper than in the resort. Not that the hotel was dirt cheap, but that the resort was quite expensive. eg 3.50 Euro for 0.4 Litres of Local Beer (which they erroneously call a "pint") Given that its in fact 2/3 pint, we make it about £4.20 per pint at today's exchange rates. The food is also more expensive than your typical Spanish, Greek or Italian package destination.
Notwithstanding that, we enjoyed our nights out, especially at the many live entertainment venues (where free entry made the £3.50 Euro per pint more reasonable.)
Our favourite live music bar was "Imagine" (Near the "main Street" between the Corralejo Gardens and the Town's only petrol station) Resident musician Eric is a virtuoso on Guitar, Piano, Flute, Ukelele, Bass, Accordion amongst other instruments. Well worth a visit!
Excursions are on the expensive side so its better to try the cheap local buses. They are air conditioned and reasonably reliable.
If we did chose to go to Corralejo again, we would be happy to return to the Corralejo Gardens.
A lovely 2 weeks!

Me and my family have just returned...
5 / 10
Sep 2008, Mrs N Lister

Me and my family have just returned today from a weeks holiday at corralejo gardens, overall it was good, what you would expect from a 3 star, the people were lovely, especially our rep sherrie, very helpful, rooms were cleaned every day and linen changed once, pool bar food not recommended really, and the entertainment was poor. very few people go to the bar on the night. the pool is very deep and very cold, we hardly stayed by our pool as you can go to any of the thompson hotels and use thier facilities for the day. We went to the oasis papagayo a few times as this was to die for, great pools and entertainment all day long for the kids (and adults).
The resort overall was gorgeous and the beaches are lovely, only a 10 minute walk are the bars around the harbour and on the main strip are excellent, both in food and views out over the sea, beware of been hassled and dragged into the nearest restaurant too soon though, with the promises of free sangria just to make the restaurant look busy, which isn't good when the food is rubbish, we avoided the empty ones, which seemed sensible, but, very very relaxing! i would recommend el toro steak house, excellent service and food if you like big juicy steaks! and the waiters are very friendly and approchable too. another bar on the harbour was nice too, but i can't remeber the name, it was facing the row of restaurants and shops that had the slow boat chinese restaurant ( not recommended) on it. also castaways bar on the harbour front is great, english run with artists on every night (who are pretty good actually, especially neil diamond tribute)
A trip to the oasis park is recommended a full, tiring, hot day out worth every penny i'd say.

It was mine and my parents first time...

Sep 2008, Mr L Broughton

It was mine and my parents first time at Corralejo and I really enjoyed it, the hotel wasn't the best but it had what you needed, the entertaiment at the hotel wasn't the best and it could do with being painted, but the cleaners come to our room nearly everyday, the staff and rep was very friendly and the location of the hotel was also very good, if you didn't want to walk far for something to eat and drink the sundowner was just over the road, and they was also very friendly family. My best nights were at 7 pints were the blues brothers and James Anthony were very good entertainment.

My best friend and myself got back...
7 / 10
Sep 2008, Miss KL FLITTON

My best friend and myself got back yesterday from 2weeks in Fiesta apartments. i read these reviews just before i went and to be honest i was worried it was going to be a rubbish holiday. IT WAS AMAZING! yes the complex does need a good paint and doesnt have lifts but its not as rubbish as everyone makes it out to be. it is very basic but the apartments are nice and cosy and have most things that you need to do the cooking etc. corralejo itself is great, i myself have been loads of times before to corralejo but my best friends had never been aboard before and she loved it. if i got the option i would go again but probably not to fiesta gardens. the location is good as the main road is just a short walk away i just like to have evening entertainment and theres isnt alot of it there.
so if you are going on holiday to this resort dont read the rubbish reviews as it isnt a 5 star hotel you are in and i think some people are being a little bit to crictical!!!
by the way the staff and reps are lovely :D

Hi, we have just returned from 2...
6 / 10
Sep 2008, Mrs R JORDAN

Hi, we have just returned from 2 weeks at the corralejo gardens. So I would just like to share my thoughts.
The apartments are very basic and in much need of re-furbishment but it is bareable as its not forever. The maids came nearly everyday, most days they just did a quick clean, towels were changed frequently, bed linen changed twice. We had ants in our apartment but as long as you keep on top of them you'll be ok.
The pool is a nightmare, the rep tells you not to reserve beds but you will need to be up early if you want one as everybody reserves them. There was an incident in the pool with a little girl whilst we were there but the life guard was brilliant could not fault him. The food from the pool bar is not too bad, they ran out of ice-creams though so my daughter wasn't happy.
Entertainment was rubbish,once you've seen 1 parrot-snake show you've seen them all!
Sherrie the rep is lovely she was always around and very helpful.
The kids club is by the front door and the kids are allowed to come and go as they please which i didnt think was a very good idea.
If you miss your english food go to the sundowners over the road, they do the best breakfast and sunday dinner.
Fuerteventura is a lovely island, beautiful beaches and plenty of places to eat in town like...penny lane...english rose and the bars down by the harbour are also very good.
So dont let the apartment get you down get out and enjoy the sun at 1 of the lovely beaches. We would go to Fuerteventura again but we would stay at a different hotel.

Hi just arrived back last night from...
5 / 10
Aug 2008, Mrs C Lake

Hi just arrived back last night from our 2wk holiday staying at fiesta gardens.I had read a few reviews before we went & had thought of changing where we were staying but thought that i would give it a try as there were a few fair reviews. We normally go to Greece so we are used to fairly basic accomadtion & thought well its just a base as long as it's clean!!.I don't normally moan but when we arrived after a long winded transfer & climbed 3 floors with no lifts at 11pm we opened the doors to a rather musky smelling appartment. We said lets wait till the morning & see what it's like in daylight & after the room has had a good airing. The place was in need of a good over haul everything needed a good lick of paint our rooms on review to others weactually had one of the better ones & more secure than on the other side where they didn't have a front door. The pool had tiles missing & it was dirty with grime on the bottom.we paid £1,362 for 2adults & 1 child who was surposed to be free.and they were charging people between 1-3 euro a night when they booked it on the net. so we feel pretty ripped of by thomson.Cherie the rep was very nice thou.we decided we weren't going to let it ruin our holiday & met some great people who felt the same as us staying there we didn't want to sit round moaning like some we can mention the location is good as near the harbour where we didn't have a bad meal in 14days.la playita yum yum great staff great food you have to try the salt fish best i've ever tasted.we would go back to the island but def not the fiesta lesson learnt.if you have read reviews like i did before & are thinking of changing it would be a good idea to do it as it is a beautiful island & resort & you just want to chill & enjoy it not worry about a thing. The waterpark is good fun & you can walk to it.from cindy, nick & hannah Luton beds

Me, my husband and 8 year old son...
2 / 10
Aug 2008, Mrs L Flannagan

Me, my husband and 8 year old son have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Fiesta Garden Apartments. This hotel/apartment complex is in urgent need of modernisation and decoration. They were kept clean, but I had to complain after being there 10 nights and the linen on the beds not being changed. The towels were changed frequently but the bedding was ignored. The maids did not clean it 6 out of 7 days a week, more like 4.
I had to show the maid a pile of dirt that was left in the bedroom for 4 days and that had been there from the day that we arrived. The pool area was clean and not crowded. The entertainment was zilch...
The hotel/apartment was situated in a good place and close to all amenities. Don't think that a company like Thomson should advertise it in their brochure. Thomson were not a good company to travel with, so beware. 4 and half hour flight with no entertainment, pre booked seats taken by other passengers and kids meal was given to an adult so my son had to do with an adult meal that made him sick.
My son enjoyed the pool. It would be better if there was music playing around the pool area during the daytime and there entertainment programme needs some serious reconsideration.
If you just want somewhere to sleep, wash and change and don't mind paying over the odds - go for it, but the price we paid does not represent the complex - it should have been cheaper. £1578.00 including a free child place - not worth it at all.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the Thomson rep was also very helpful. We paid for a day trip to Oasis Park which was worth every penny that we paid.
The area itself is very expensive so make sure you take enough cash with you or you will run out, though the drinks in the hotel were a little cheaper that in the town.
Don't stay here if you can stay somewhere else.

Jul 2008, Mrs C MacLeod

I have just returned form corralejo and i must say what a great holiday we had, my husband and son (aged 13) had the most enjoyable holiday ever. Since i have come back we have been searching the internet to go back again this year. The town itself was lovely, we walked everywhere and of course the weather was on our side too.
I would definately reccomend this holiday to anyone as it would suit all ages.
We also went to oasis park where we spent the whole day it was well worth the money and what an experience, the only thing was i thoght you needed 2 days there to get the benefit of everything in the park.

We will be returning to Fiesta...
9 / 10
Jul 2008, dawnyo

We will be returning to Fiesta gardens for a 3rd time in a few days. We love it. It has all the basics things you need for a stay abroad. Its central to everything that is going on. The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff are friendly. The only down side is you have to pay for the tv, but who flys all the way there just to sit indoors and watch television? There is a brilliant little cafe just across the road called the Sundowners who do fantastic cooked breakfasts and even better sunday dinners. The rock island bar is a must too. If you like indian food then go to the Tajh Mahal. Best indian food i have ever had.
Its brilliant!!!!

Stayed at Fiesta Correlejo 12 times...
10 / 10
Jun 2008, Mrs J GRIFFITHS

Stayed at Fiesta Correlejo 12 times and always a warm welcome on arrival. Staff really nice and friendly and very helpful. Ideal location for bus stop shops, restaurants and beaches.
Stayed in different appartments and never had any trouble, can't understand peoples negativity. Ants & cockeroaches, general bugs are around us in any country and especially in hot climates you will be expected to see them.
Good facilities if on a budget and rooms are clean and looked after with a regular change of towels and if you want anything doing in your room maids always oblige.
Good bar food & entertainment and an ideal place to stay. Would recommend these apartments to anybody. Pool clean, on the 12 occasions we have been here never had any bother with noise or dirty pools, or staff. We where there when the carnival was on and you only heard the odd sounds of laughter which is only natural when people are on holiday.
Only thing I would like to say is that the gym could do with updating, it would be nice to get a few pounds of before I go home. For those people who had money taken use the facility and pay for a safe a good investment for peace of mind.
Chablis you get a good english breakfast and very friendly staff. And there are lots of spanish bars with cheap drink and they welcome you with open arms. Tio Bernard resturant in the walk through from the square has excellent food, a little time to wait but it is worth waiting for, waiters have a laugh with you really nice place to stay for the evening.
Had a really enjoyable holiday for the 12th time at Fiesta Correlejo so keep up the good standard of this hotel.. Look forward to seeing you again possibly September or November.
