Just returned from a 2 week holiday at Sea n Lake View.
Visited twice before 2001 and 2004. Well we couldn't fault anything.Great welcome from Dora Michael and George who remembered us from before. Rooms spacious and clean. No shortage of sun beds/chairs around the pool. Drinks reasonably priced and the meals we ate at Sea n Lake were tasty and of generous portions. Mackenzie beach and local bars restaurants within a ten minute walk. Main area of Larnaca 10 minutes in a car or a lovely walk along the seafront.Nothing is too much trouble.

We visit Cyprus regularly, but of late have ended flying into Larnaca, staying a few days and going down to Paphos. The difference in cost for Paphos flights from where we are in the UK pays for a hire car for 2 weeks and a hotel for a few nights.
When we first did this, we made the mistake of going to a hotel, dearer, along the Dekhelia Road, it was diabolical.
The Sea 'n' lakeview is the opposite, I don't really like hotels, but this is like going to a friends home to stay. The apartments are very clean, they have a small kitchen with hob and fridge, plenty of space (I know some hotel apatments are tiny, not these). The pool is fantastic, and the area quiet, despite being only a couple of kilometres from the airport. Michael and Dora are great people, very generous and helpful. The rest of the staff are great. There is a bar and a small dining area, prices are very fair.
Infact it is the only place we stay in now, already booked for september for a few nights and looking forward to it. We would stay longer but we are visitng friends in paphos.
You can get to Famagusta in under an hour (Aiya Napa in 35 minutes)The troodos and Paphos in about 90 minutes. Limmasol in about 40 minutes, so it is an ideal location for exploring with a hire car.

My family and I recently returned from a trip to Cyprus where we stayed at The Sea N Lake View apartments. We had stayed there several years before and when returning we truly felt as though we were returning to our "home away from home". The relaxed and friendly atmosphere is what we like most and the spacious and clean apartments are ideal for a family to spend a fortnight. We were shocked to hear of Theos passing but Dora and Michael are doing a wonderful job and keeping Theos spirit very much alive. We highly recommend these apartments!

My first visit to the sea n lake was 2003..Ive been every year since. My son who's now 8 doesnt want to go anywhere else...Anything is No problem @ the sea n lake,...The people there make your holiday one to remember.The hotel is amazingly clean and tidy and im sad i cant make it there this year!!
It's perfectly situated for the beach and airport and buses to ayia napa and other places to visit are just in town,20 min stroll with quite alot of bars and restaurants along the way...Check out Michaels sea front restaurant,fantastic menu and if he doesnt have what you want, he sure will the next day, so much fun there,especially for kids!!
Beaches in Larnaca are nice with alot of water sports,banana boats,jets ski's...even a sofa bed to zoom on...The sea is so beautiful and warm,lots of boat trips to choose from at the marina in town, but i recommend ayia napa for shopping and boat trips as its alot cheaper there for alot of things.

Very friendly, helpful proprietors and staff. Complex and apartments kept very clean, Nothing too much trouble for owners Dora and Michael, one or the other is always on hand. Complex is close to beach and just a ten minute taxi ride to the centre of Larnaca. Pool and sunbed area kept immaculate. Can understand why people come back year after year, we will certainly make a return visit.

great value accommodation in a lovely part of the island - great local restaurants close by including excellent fish restaurant. Clean and comfortable rooms with very friendly hoteliers and staff - Lots of people use the hotel as a base for visiting their family on the island so the pool can get busy - but we are going back again this year .... so i reckon that tells you that is not too much of a problem!

We have now been going to Larnaca for twenty three years . This will be our third year staying at the Sea N Lake apartments which are in the Mackenzie area of Larnaca .For a number of years we stayed at the Seagate Apartments which are now closed as holiday apartments. Have been very pleased with the Sea N Lake and glad that we found them. You find that a lot of the people return each year and you get to know them and it makes it a very friendly environment.Larnaca Cente is about a twenty-twentyfive minute walk although there was a new bus service running last year during the day and in the evenings. It wasn't very reliable but it was new and I am hoping to maybe see an improovement this year.
I am in my fifties and like to go in September when the schools are back. Not that I have anything against children being there but as I am not a good swimmer it is great when there is just adults using the pool. Beaches in Larnaca take quite a bit of getting used to as they are not white golden sands that you might expect it is a brown quite hard sand but in time you do adjust to it.Favourite eating places for me is Melizis a traditional cypriot restaurant where the tavas and kleftiko is excellent.Monte Carlo is also very good. Tourists have also been going to the Cuckoos nest for many years which is a little pub nothing fancy to look at but food is very good and very reasonablly priced.Tours around the island can be expensive but the buses going to the likes of Ayanapa Limassol and Nicossia are good and leave from the beach in the Centre of Larnaca.Like every other country which has the euro now things are not cheap.Supermarket prices for milk bread etc are slightly more expensive than what we pay here in the UK.If you haven't tried one of the local drinks a brandy sour for me, it is always a must and you do not need to be a brandy drinker to enjoy this.Could go on and on about a holiday resort that we have been going to for all these years but will stop now and let someone else have a go.
