We arrived on Boxing Day just gone, and was greeted very warmly by reception which is always a good sign.

The hotel looked very clean, modern, well run, and very friendly.

On our first night we sampled the buffet although we thought it a little expensive at 16 euro each when there was not food left at 9.30 pm.

The rooms were clean and spacious and not a insect in sight. I always look for a clean bathroom and was not disappointed it was spotless.

The maids again so nice and friendly and rooms are cleaned and bedding and towels are changed every day.

The swimming pools are great for kids and well maintained along with the gardens and tennis courts etc.

We would not hesitate in a return visit and thought it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in and all guests from all over Europe appeared very friendly.

We were paying for our own bar drinks which seemed expensive although generous measures but at 11 Euro for 2 Gin and tonics, it soon mounted up.

I would strongly advise that all inclusive is the best option and would offer much better value.

Thank you to all that made our stay at the Atlantis suite so enjoyable and relaxing.

The gym was great and well equipped and the sauna well see for yourself!!

One Gripe!! There has to be one...

The hotel should maybe consider a few pool tables etc for the older kids, as sometimes they can get a little bored at night and there is plenty of room for a games room etc.

If you are thinking of going then don’t hesitate about booking here it will not let you down.

I had contact by letter with the Hotel prior to our stay and they replied, granting our request of a particular room, as I have stayed there twice before and also allowing us to keep the room until our late departure. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Our stay was an oasis from reality and we could have stayed another week. The surrounding amenities are excellent. We were spoilt for choice and ate out at a different restaurant almost every evening. We did not feel threatened walking about in the evening and we never witnessed any unruly behaviour and the police presence was very low key even though they were about. The bus service is excellent and the trip to Lanzarote on the ferry is a must.

Thank you for the way you have handled our holiday and the emails wishing us a good holiday and welcoming us back were much appreciated. We will certainly go back to this lovely Island.

Fantastic holiday, great for kids, animation team 10 out of 10 !

Food great, no queuing of drinks. Hotel really good, will go back again.

Only one bad point, private beach not really good for children, but we don’t really like the beach so not a prob. Flag beach only 5 mins on bus!

Really good for families.

I stayed here with my husband and three year old son. The facilities for families is outstanding. There is so much for children of all ages to do.

The kids club was excellent and there is a park right by the pool. The food in all three restaurants was lovely and the weather whilst there was so bearable for my son, slightly cloudy but hot with a really nice breeze to keep everyone comfortable.

The beaches nearby were beautiful white sandy dunes and the sea clear and blue. Our room was lovely, right by the pool and kept very clean.

All the staff were friendly and helpful overall holiday 10/10.

After initially getting a room without a pool view (we had booked a pool view), we were given a nice airy apartment near the pool.

Generally Fuente Park is a nice place in a brilliant location, there isn't a bar in the complex just a pool bar that closes at 18-00hrs everyday :( However this doesn't matter cause the complex is right slap bang in the middle of Corralejo so your a stones throw from the bars/restaurants/shops, and about 5 minutes from the beach!!!

Overall I would recommend Fuentepark if you aren't bothered about there being loads of entertainment and bars/restaurants within the complex, the pool area is nice and clean as are the apartments, there is maid service everyday. The receptionist was very helpful, we loved our week spent there and wouldn't hesitate to return to Fuente Park and the Fuerteventura/Corralejo!!!!

PS Visit Rock Island if you like your live music 5 mins round the corner!!!

This hotel is 20 min walk from main strip in Corralejo but it is through residential areas no shops or supermarkets to speak of along the route although you can follow the shore which is five minutes shorter walking but takes you to harbour end of town as opposed to top of strip on other route. I mention this because if you like to take a stroll in the evening to local shops or bars this really isn't the place for you. The hotel footprint is easily the largest I have stayed on with all the accommodation I saw, no more that 2 storey.

There is a huge building site behind this hotel with 5 large cranes, 5 days prior to our departure we received a letter advising us of building works in the area but could not get past call parking on First Choice telephone lines to find out exactly what was going on. In England a site this size would have in excess of 200 people on it here it was somewhat different, We passed the building site around 8 times (on the courtesy beach bus) and I only saw half a dozen people (scaffolders) twice. The large cranes I only saw move twice during our stay. There was absolutely no noise during our stay but there is a huge amount of construction still to do.

The hotel complex has around 5 pools aimed at different age groups and works really well. The pool aimed at teenagers is quite deep has activities like water polo throughout the day. It also has music pumping out of speakers as well. Another pool is only around 12 inches deep ideal for toddlers. We found one suitable for our children but unfortunately they both caught ear infections and the cost to visit the site doctor who arrives for 1 hour a day was 75 euros each, medication cost about 22 euros. I couldn't fault the hotel layout, apartment or food which was excellent. We had a ground floor 2 bedroom suite with terrace. Although maids left windows and doors open on no less that 3 separate occasions nothing ever went missing.

There were enough sun beds to go around although the obligatory towel placement early morning was still required. This is probably the most cosmopolitan hotel I have ever stayed in, there were French, German, Swedish, Italian and English and people arrived every day. At least 50% of the people were all inclusive (orange wristbands).

When we tried to get an upgrade from half board our reps were useless took 3 days to get back to us and then quoted 1600 euros for a party of 4. We went via hotel and got our kids bands for 10 euro a day adults were 20. We were away when suspected terrorists were arrested and although it was over a week later we still had probs with baggage rules not from airport but First Choice. Climate was excellent the odd slight breeze kept humidity to a minimum much nicer than Balearics at the same time of year. Local Netto supermarket was cheap, as was whole island, local wine less than two euros and quite palatable. Private beach local to hotel was a bit of a let down although it did have free sun beds it was rocky with little sand. The rock pools however were alive with fish and we spent a few mornings crabbing and netting tiddlers.

The free beach bus left almost hourly from 10.30 to the sand dunes which were excellent. Journey was only 5 min but the walk from bus stop to beach was another 5 min and although the road itself had been recently tarmacced the pavement was still unfinished. This was also true in some of the areas we visited, the island is undergoing massive expansion since the advent of its own airport. And building work continues along the coast. We had a fantastic time in a large complex hotel with good food and a great climate, but it is a little way out of town and really needs a cab journey 2 /3 euros to reach main strip.

I can only rate Fuente Park on a room only basis so I cannot comment on the standard of the food. Upon arrival the overall appearance is quite pleasant, clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful and even though we never received our hotel booking details from Alpha Rooms they made no fuss about the matter at all and got us to our room.

Our room was well laid out with a bathroom, double bedroom, lounge/dining room and a kitchen with a fridge freezer grill hob oven sink and an outside terrace our kitchen looked brand new but some of the furniture elsewhere looked a little tired, but nothing to complain about. The room was cleaned daily and everything worked.

The layout of Fuente Park is excellent and having children myself found that there only being two stories to the residential part of the hotel meant that there are not too many stairs to climb, the pool caters for all ages and there is also a toddlers pool. There is a pool bar which opened at about 12.30pm which serves soft and alcoholic beverages and snacks such as pizza and traditional local dishes.

Everything around the pool was functional and well laid out however they could do with some new cushions for the loungers, the pool was cleaned daily and fresh towels available from the reception. There was also an enclosed children’s play area I don’t think it was open but my first impressions were that it had plenty of things for the children it looked safe and the swings, slides etc were all set in sand.

The location is perfect central to the town of Corralejo 70 meters from the high street and about a 6 minute stroll from your nearest beach and a selection of shops and restaurants. However you would never know it and once back at the hotel there is little or no noise from the town, but there is some construction work further up the street even though it looks like another hotel being built the noise was not that intrusive.

Finally, can I say how helpful the staff at Fuente Park were nothing is to much trouble and they always tried their best to answer any questions I had for them, a very pleasant holiday overall.
