me and my partner have just returned home after staying at this apartment,we chose to go bed and breakfast but would not do it again the staff were rude and not polite ,on the other hand the receptionist staff were really friendly.the staff came in daily to clean the rooms which were of high standard,it was a good location about 10 mins walk to the centre, plenty of shops for all ages to look around, lots of different food resturants to choose from, the down side which we found was the beach very dissapointing:( we will not be returning to futureventura instead we will be heading back to lanzarote which we find is a more friendly place to go

hi i stayed that this hotel and am now going back with my fiance. what a lovely hotel . a secret tip is to call the hotel directly and book directly much cheaper that way and you save on the extorsionate surcharges from british travel agencies. the poole is kept very clean and the staff are always happy to help . it is a drawback that the TV is not for free 3 euros per day, but hey do what we did . we bought a small dvd player and took it with us with the scart lead that works fine and you can watch your favourite programmes there, and anyway if you cant understand spanish no point. can recommend the hotel room it includes adecent size kitchen with all facilities, you also get all day and all night hot water, it is a superb and i cant wait to go back again in october and have already booked for the next year too.
so yes it is 2 star, but it is accessible to the beach very closely and corralejo town is only a small taxi or walk ride away, there is so much to discover , the local supermarket hiperdino is round the corner and there is even an english iceland if you fancy english grub. more to follow on this. the bakku water park is also in proximity as well as t he beautiful corralejo beach.
and guess what for extra security there is a safe in every room , and the police headquarters are straight opposite well if that is not secure then i dotn know what is.
food was perfect they made us paella specially and really put a great deal of effort into breakfast and the variety offered. it beats a 4 star hotel handsdown.
bravo playa park bravo

quiet location,15mins to nearest sea path, through villas &apts down past shopping complex first right,t junction, left, next right down to beach path.or right out of hotel, right at roundabout,15 min to sand dunes.nice cafe at complex next beach, which u can use.studio,s ok if overlooking pool, building site, other side.new copshop,so you,ll be safe here.friendly helpful staff.rooms kept clean, towels changed regularly. cramped kitchen,a struggle to cook a meal, but ok for t etc.cold pool, but ok for 10 min swim.eating outs a dream, from tappas to larger meals.sat facing sea dining,&people watching.no hassle from timeshare touts.just odd hawkers, who walk off when u politely refuse.laid back.would reccomend 1 bed apt,as they all face pool, but we got more sun as we were on th ird floor studio. luckily facing pool.only downside, they have a thief who stole my binoculars.we left key at reception when we went out,so they &the cleaners have key to room.would reccomend safe.shame,1 bad apple.will go again though.

I have just returned from a week at these apartments with my partner and I have to say they are the best 3 star aprtments that I have ever stayed in.
On arrival insted of being given the studio that we had paid for they gave us a 1 bedroom apartment, which was in excellent condition, good decoration throughout, clean and to top it off it had two balaconies.
Although we didnt use the self atering facilties the kitchen was also of a good standard and had eveything you would need to cook a small meal.
We ate out in many resturants throughout the stay but the best one was just around the corner from the apartments called the cherry tree, which was enlgish run, although not the heapest food the standard was a lot better than the others in the main strip and had a good choice. We also ate at the playa park apartmets a couple of times but food was expensive for just a average meal.
The pool had plenty of sunbeds to go around and there was need to get up extra early just to reserve your sunbed with a towell. The pool was clean and well maintained.
I would recommend you go and play mini golf up by the water park this was by far the best mini golf in resort and had the full 18 holes for a charge of 3 euros each. We never went to the water park ourselves but it did look a lot of fun, There is so much to do here ,personally we were never bored.
Would go back here again.

Me and my girlfriend are both 17, and this was our first hoiday together. It was so much better than expected, especially after hearing some reviews. Anyone who thinks the beach and shops are too far away are wrong. It is perfect walking distance to beach, waterpark and everything. We had a studio room with a balcony overlooking the pool, it was perfect, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, as were the maids. The pool was perfect and never overcrowded, and always kept clean. The restuarant served reasonably priced nice food. Overall the holiday was far better than expected, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we reccomend this to any family or couple. We will be back. X :)

stayed here in july 09 with my girlfriend and we where really pleased with the place, the staff are so friendly and helpful the rooms are a very good size and quality, i can honestly say its really good value for money.
the only thing that was a little bit of a let down was the swimming pool is a sea water pool which wasn't too much of a letdown.
the hotel is well situated with bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within a short walk, the beach is a 10 - 15 min stroll as is the main parts of town, the old town is about 25 mins away.
the water park is 5 mins down the road and on a monday and friday there is a market there from 0900 - 1300 but be careful they do try the hard sell a little but its still a good place to get any last min gifts
we liked the holiday so much we are planning to go back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sue and I returned to Corallejo 20/06/2009 to visit friends who had emigrated 2 years previously. We visited Fuetre last year for the first time (in September 2008) and we loved the place. The first time, we stayed at Club Las Olas which was fine(take/buy a kettle) but this time we stayed at Playa Park. It's near the Camponario...The Bell Tower Shopping Complex (very small...not really a complex!). It's a lovely, budget place with all the ammenities you would expect for the price...pay TV, fold-away kitchenette etc but for self catering it's ideal. The grounds/pool/general site are well maintained and the staff without exception were friendly. The beautiful walk along the shore is easily accessible if you turn right out of the front door, walk straight over the roundabout, down the road in front, keep looking to your left until you pass a street where you see a villa called "Cristiane" with a flamingo mural on the wall, turn left there and after a few yards there is a passage on the right to the beach, where you then again turn left and can savour a lazy walk into Corallejo along the shoreline. Many people appeared to be unaware of this shortcut so save yourselves a hike! The beach stroll will take you past many a place to stop for a beer or a snack, but we can personally recommend Wikkiki, the Point (if you requirements are a full english!!) or walk a bit further toward the habour and try Cordon Blue, wehere you can sample the prerequisite All Engish or more local offerings..Sue particularly suggests the sardines!!
If you want a night of fun, frolix and are of the younger more energetic type, may we suggest FLIX in the town centre as a prefered haunt. If,like us, you prefer the quieter, more considered evening, wend your way along the Habour wall to such places as "Castaways" with live music. There are infinate options along here for all tastes, so just go for it! I must say that our favourite place was Corallejo's oldest bar, THE BLUE ROCK. Laid back, traditional, friendly ex-pat staff who appeciate visitors from afar. Go there and ask for Chris and Eileen....not staff but Mancunian ex-pats who are living the dream....tell em John the Barber sent you !!! Ohh, lest I forget, had a fabulous dayout deep sea fishing on the Sina Maria III from the Harbour. There are a number of kiosks offering fishing excursions but this sounded the best, and boy did they deliver!! I just wish I'd had a bigger frying pan!!

we have just come back from this hotel after staying there for 11 days. the staff were really helpful and have been when we got back home too, as we left something in the hotel and they are sending it back to us straight away they are so lovely and helpful i cannot believe people have been saying that the hotel is dirty and the staff are unhelpful as this is not true. the hotel is very clean and we had no problems with the rom at all. the pictuers in the brochures and on the internet are the same in the hotel.i would recommend staying in this hotel if you are looking for a self catering hotel. i would seriously say that there is nothing wrong with this hotel and dont see what peoples problems are.

I dint usually write a review but I felt I needed to completely dismiss previous rviews which labelled this accomodation as 'dirty' - Couldn't be further from the truth, yes the accomodation may come up first in price searches but having just spent the last 10 days at the playa park I feel I bagged a bargain! Clean rooms which were then cleaned each day of our stay, a fantastic pool area which was always clean and the hotel in general was very welcoming and pleasant. Set in a quiet area but only a 15 minute walk to the main area and beach, 10 minutes from the water park, 2 minutes from the main bus stop, what more do you want?!
Overall a fantastic holiday and the playa park is highly recommended from me!
Enjoy!

We stayed at Playa Park during february half term we payed 500 pounds for 2 adults on a self catering basis - which considering it was half term we thought was a great deal.
Was not expecting it to be great apartments, but was pleasantly surprised. the pool area was lovely. nice big pool, to which we practically had to ourselves, we were quite dissapointed that we didnt spend a lot of time there as it was very relaxing. The apartments are located about a 10 - 15 min walk from main strip, however we found a short cut along the beach.
We did not eat at the restaurant, as we were happy to sample the local cuisine. However, we did have breakfast at the pool bar on our last day and were not dissapointed.
We stayed in a studio apartment in main building, located on the top floor overlooking the main road, room was of decent size, however never had a balcony, which we werent too dissapointed about as the weather was quite chilly at night time.
A lot of people recommended Flinstones bar for a good breakfast, but when we went there they said they had not turned the grill on - they seemed very unwelcoming so we got the impression they didn't want us to stay, so we never returned and probably never will.
We spent most of the time on the local beach sunbeds were 3 euros and there was a lovely beach restaurant which did great food, we visited many a time. cant remember its name.
The chinese on the main strip is lovely and highly recommended, as is the steak house, but a little pricey.
We took a trip to lanzarote, we missed the cheaper boat by 5 mins so had to pay a little more for the fred olsen. It seemed warmer in lanzarote, nice bars and restaurants along playa blanca. doubt we would take a trip there again as alls we did was lay on the beach which was a bit of a waste.
All in all fuerteventura is a nice quiet island suitable for people who dont want to do much. A week on the island was enough as there is not much to do around corralejo, however our visit was out of season, so it could be very different in summer.
