Hi

Magic Cristal Park hotel is a cheap hotel and doesn't pretend to be anything else! The location is it's saving grace - it is so central. The hotel is clean but dated. The food is good and plentiful. The drinks are local brands but ok. The staff are excellent and we never had any problems. If you go with an open mind you will enjoy it!

Food really nice but you have to que for everything but i suppose thats the time of year. Dont expect to find many english people here majority are spanish, can recommend the medeival night and the hotel as you can hop to over ten of them but this is the best. Rooms spacious but not many have balconys, air con worked great and was a blessing in the August blistering sun. Kids entertainment was good but have had better. Overall value I would say for £300 each in peak season we got our moneys worth but expect to que at the peak times. Pool clean but is on the terrance and under cover and on the 7th floor. Maids came every day to clean room and change towels and linen. location was great as just 10mins from old town so very continental lots of shopping and eating. Super holiday just a shame about the queing up at every meal/drinks time.

Can't believe I ended up here. This hotel was awful, the rooms were tacky and needed a good clean, drains stunk in the bathroom, a very busy road outside and there are very limited rooms with a balcony. There is no outside pool it is indoors with a canopy over the top, I have an 8 year old boy who did have alot of fun in the pool and I wasn't worried about him getting sun stroke but this is no good if you enjoy lounging around the pool.

The entertainment was terrible, sometimes did not start until 10pm, this is also indoors and it gets very hot and smoky, the bar service was very slow, waited a long time to get served.

The food I can say was excellent, but apart from that the hotel is only a 2 star at ths most and I would never advise anyone to go here, I certainly would never go back again.

I would give the overall rating as 0 (zero) but wasnt an option to choose from. For anyone to give this place a good review is beyond me. The place is terrible. Maybe folks believe the welcoming letter that was written in very bad english stating that people would be entered into a prize draw to win a holiday for a good review on the internet for this hotel. 3 Star mmm not likely. 1 star would be a struggle. The food was tasteless, bland, overcooked and left out all day and night or re-designed into another meal another day. the staff worked hard but didnt speak much english. the entertainment was a joke. the air conditioning did not work and even the staff said they are struggling as it hadnt worked for at least 18 months. the rooms and the whole of the hotel are shabby to say the least. Please do not believe fantastic reviews on here the place is not worth the money they charge for it. Well unless they only charge your 50 euros for the week that is.

we moved from hotel monika as there was a safety and security issue with the balcony doors, the doors would not lock and having our 2yr old son we thought this was extremely dangerous

after the manager showed us another 6 rooms we decided ther was going to be too many sleepness nights worrying about our child getting onto and over the balcony, also our belongings would not be safe as the balcony's were too close together and a theif could quite easily climb over into our appartment.

we waas very impressed with magic cristal park at first, a short walk down too the beach, a 24 hr self service bar, rooms were neat and tidy, but this was soon too change, the morning after we discovered the window above my son's bed would not lock, we moved to another

appartment as we was at the far end of the hotel, and was a struggle as we had a buggy and would have to get the lift followed by stairs, our new room was situated on the first floor which made easier access but the windows would still not lock and as we talked to other guests we found the same problems with windows and balcony doors,

the food tasted like it was from a motorway service station, uncooked very dry and bland, but plenty of deserts which was quite appetising.

the main entertainment didn't start til 930 which seemed a little late for the children. the rest of the entertainment was aimed at the 50+ with a guy playing the keyboard, so nothing for the 18+

met some lovely guests and they really made the holiday, and one staff in particulary the security guard he was a gentleman and took to us and my child.

on the final day, down the corridor to our floor, an apartment with a balcony wall collapsed into the the busy street below, not sure if any one was hurt i'm just greatful it wasn't our room.

arrived on the 10th after being transfered from hotel monika, as there is a big safety and security issue with the balcony doors not locking, i have a 2 1/2 yr old son who could quite easily open the doors and get on and over the balcony. and this was also a security issue as the appartment was not secure. On arrival it was very welcoming and friendly, our room was at the other end of the hotel, which was a bit awkward with baggage and buggy, we had to get a lift to the 6th floor and up a flight of stairs, but it was soon resolved when they switched our room to the the first floor we soon found that the windows didn't lock, and our friends balcony's doors did'nt lock either

the entertainment didnt start til 930pm and was repetative

the food was bland not cooked and left under heat lamps for far too long, motorway sevices comes to mind but that would be too fair, altough the deserts were descent.

the holiday was not suited to us there was very little entertainment for the 18-40, the small roof top pool and climbing frame kept my son busy for about 30mins.

on our final day the balcony wall collapsed on our floor and landed onto the footpath below i took some photos of this,

just returned back from crysal park and over all the hol was very good, the facilties at the hotel were all very good, the room was cleaned very well on a daily basis and bedding was changed twice during our 1 week stay, you could have clean towels daily if you wanted but there is no need as they dry quite quick on the over bath washing lines. there were a few bad points like the spanish guests being a bit ignorant and loud but at least they dont reserve sun beds and it does not matter what time you go up to the pool and terrace area there is always pleanty of sun beds and chairs, another bad point was that they dont have any parasols on the sun terrace but hey they have to give us something to moan about dont they, the food was very good good variety and very tasty, good selection of cakes and pastrys and if you arnt that hungry the soup was always really tasty even when it looked a bit thin, they also had a choclate fountain with chopped fresh fruit. we jumped on the open top bus wich takes you round all the magic hotels and called in most of them they were all quite nice and some were more set up for familys with younger children than the crystal park but our youngest member of our party was 11 so it wasnt important to us. overall all had a really good time and have re booked for november

Myself and my partner booked a holiday to have time out from the real world. We booked this hotel then read some pretty bad reviews so we went not knowing what to think. The hotel was clean the room was small but you get what you pay for.The meals we thought were great I was really surprised at the choice there was.Benidorm itself was great and we would definatley go back to there and the hotel. There was only 1 downside and that was the Spanish that were there on their holidays they dont believe in waiting in a queue and some were downright rude and ignorant it seemed to be the older generation aswell. The local Spanish in Benidorm and the Hotel however were really nice. The hotel also put on different entertainment at nights which was really good.So overall a great holiday.

I read many reviews on this site and others and read so many bad experiences i was dreading going to this hotel. My advice to anyone who reads this is judge this by your own experience. Well all those bad reviews i read could not have been more wrong. Our family totally loved our holiday and this hotel. It is very clean and tidy, staff and very friendly and helpful. The maid comes every day and tidys the room and makes the beds and you get fresh sheets every couple of days you can get fresh towels every day if needed. There is a fantastic choice of food in the restaurant. As for the entertainment there is a different show on every night and the staff are fantastic with the kids. My kids really loved the kids club. They say the people make the holiday in my case the entertainment team made my holiday and gave me so many memorable experiences. I can not compliment them enough and would definately go back.

We spent 4 days in Magic Cristal Park Hotel; rooms were huge and spacious, clean and tidy.

There was so much choice of food there was something for everyone all through the day. Bar service was good, hotel in great location.

Only downside to the holiday were the Spanish! They were so rude and ignorant! They spent most of their time sitting at the bottom of the stairs and congregating on the stairs chatting!

There is plenty to do in Benidorm and the hotel and all they do is sit in the reception and clog the stairs and give you dirty looks when you excuse past them!

Other than that we had a fabulous time and would go back again.

I’m just back from the Magic Cristal Park Hotel and thought it was amazing, I went for a week with my friend, my mum and gran. The rooms were very spacious, lots of storage space, we had a balcony which was ok but weren’t amazing views. We could still see the sea and the sun still came into the balcony.

The food was very good, different meat every night, and there was something for everyone, who doesn’t like chips or salads? So you can’t say there was nothing to choose from with hot and cold dishes.

As for the staff, I found them very helpful and fun! Had a great laugh with all the bar staff, the staff in the restraunt were always cleaning plates away, changing the food trays when it was running low, there was no time in the whole week were there was an empty tray, they were always full.

The only down side to my holiday was the Spanish tourists, I have never felt so self-conscious in my entire life, but hey, get over it, most of them are from tiny villages where respect is due and not earned. Their way of living is that the elderly get what they want, ok they shouldn’t push to get in lifts or push my mum (who has a walking sick) off the banister when she is walking down the stairs. Luckily though 300 were leaving the day after we arrived, after that, it seemed more British.

The entertainment was good, different shows and even the hotel entertainers were good.

I’m definitely booking another trip to the Magic Cristal Park Hotel for next year!

The resort of Benidorm itself is very good with loads to do for adults and kids alike however I would advise anyone to think twice before booking the Cristal Park.

There was always long queues for the bars and the bar staff are the most miserable people I have ever had the misfortune to meet.

The food was at best average, there was plenty of variety, but it all tasted the same.

The rooms are very basic and seem very old and run down. They were always kept clean with the cleaners coming in every day. In fact the cleaners were the only friendly people in the hotel.

The swimming pool is the smallest pool I have ever seen at a hotel. If you get about ten people in it, it is full and when you are there in August you can imagine how full it was.

The hotel is based on a very busy street so if you are planning on getting any sleep forget it.

Also if you have young children be careful around the hotel because all of the roads are very busy. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, think again.

There are a lot of better hotels in Benidorm than this for the same price.
