Please dont believe all the good reviews they cant possibly be true. This hotel was awful, the rooms smelt, the air con dripped all night long , there were cockroaches in the resturant. This hotel is for the Spanish who are very very rude indeed. They pushed in at the bars... more

Magic Cristal Park hotel is a cheap hotel and doesn't pretend to be anything else! The location is it's saving grace - it is so central. The hotel is clean but dated. The food is good and plentiful. The drinks are local brands but ok. The staff are excellent and we never had any problems. If you go with an open mind you will enjoy it!

Just returned from 7 nights at Cristal Park & wanted to share this with anyone else considering a stay at this hotel. We went there with some trepidation having read the reviews posted here, many of which were very negative. Let me re-assure you that the place is absolutely fine and the food is just great. The location is fairly good and very handy for both a stroll round the old town or a wander down to the beach. On arrival they had no booking for us and then left us for 4 hours to sort the situation out our selfs. I asked to have a quick word with the manager and was told no he was far too busy to speak to us, when he walked passed (having recognized him from the picture in reception) I approached him to ask if he could help resolve the problem and was advised no he was too busy. Stayed here for a week in march 2007 ! Nice hotel it does have alot of spanish guests which some people didn't seem to like !! It is a busy hotel but I found all the staff to be polite and helpful !! Just speaking a few words of spanish pays dividends and is appreciated by the staff. Alot of Spannish people where at this hotel...how ever if your a 15 year old girl I'm sure you wont be complaining! The food was quite good but it lacked plain things like pizza. The rooms were ok, but a bit tight for a family of 4 when there are two adults and two teenage girls! The entertainment wasn't the greatest but then it never is in hotels. I was absolutely dreading coming to this hotel after reading some of the reviews but there was no need to worry. We had rooms with balconies which were lovely and cleaned every day. The food could not be faulted there was always lots of choice and it was always hot. The entertainment was a bit ropey but i've never stayed all-inclusive when it hasn't been,and there were other bars to sit in if you didn't like it. We're just back from a weeks stay in the cristal park hotel and I couldn't recomend it any more we had a fantastic time food was excellent plenty off choice and self service for ur drinks at meal times and the local drink was ok only prob was spirits were a bit strong lol We stayed on the 4th floor on a main road but was great to have a wee nose out the window and room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. The information, presented by the hotel on the internet, is false. There is no fitness, no sauna, no decent jacuzzi and the small indoor swimming pool is freezingly cold. There is nothing to do inside the hotel except drink and eat. The food isn't that bad if you like it greacy. The "Out of order"-sign is used all the time.
