To start on a good note the main pool is great, good for kids and the staff always responsive. The whole place needs a makeover though and when it came to the food it was very limited, somewhat bland and predictable, of the eleven days we spent there we ate out seven of those. All in all corralejo is a fun place.

Resort is a very nice place just dont stop at this complex.
The pools are extremely dangerous as there is extensive omunts of tiles withing the pool that are either broken or missing.
loads of people reporting cuts to their feet throughout the hoilday and no one seems to care including the thomas cook reps.

Think carefully before you book
stayed here July 2004 on family holiday, initial impression was not bad with a fantastic pool. In reality the complex was quite shabby, this did improve in the second week when it looked like and inspection had highlighted things to the management. The pool is saltwater but the mineral content was so high when you had dried off you were covered in salt?? My daughter, 7 years spent most of the time in the childrens pool, which is fresh water. The staff always seemed harrassed and miserable which did not add to a holiday ambience. I like Feurtaventura and would go again but not to the Lobos Bahia
Great Place to stay
We visited these apartments last june as a couple. The Lobos bahia caters for both couples and families each having seperate pools, we chose the adult only pool which was very relaxing. The entertainment all took place in the indoor bar and seemed very loud family orientated so we gave it a miss as we had gone without our daughter. Our particular block of apartments were a little run down and desperately in need of a good paint ( hundreds of squashed mozzies all over bedroom wall) and a new bathroom but I think a renovation programme was taking place gradually around the complex as the adjacent block to us was closed and looked as if new balconies were being put on. All in all a good holiday, but probably would not go again unless I know the complex had been tarted up a bit.
Great Family Venue
Have just got back from Lobos Bahia Club. Had a great holiday. The apartments are cleaned daily and the staff are very friendly. The animation team were great with the kids and kept them amused a variety of activities. The main pool and the Kids pool are saltwater so be warned - not very nice for eyes. Location is great for family, right on the edge of the town so quite quiet and relaxing but with everything within a couple of minutes walk. The main beaches they talk about are quite a distance out and are very open so if you have small kids be prepared to go very early in the morning before it gets too hot or stay in the small beach in the town. Great sand artists creating all types of creatures near the promonade.
well what a holiday of a lifetime
Just flown home this afternoon and couldn,t wait to comment . we had a fantastic time , the apartments were lovely , clean . The staff were always helpful and friendly, The surroundings were very pretty , pool fantastic , jacussi and massage facilities excellent. Food in the snack bar was varied and was delicious. Not a noisy complex , totally relaxing. Did get bitten alot though , but i expect that when i go to a hot place , so no complaints there. All in all , our hols was out of this world, will definately go back and recommend it to my friends too, can,t wait for my next visit. Also , the apartments are right opposite the market and 2 mins walk away from shops . Great variety of restaurants too, all within easy reach . Went on 3 excursions , all great days out and get picked up right outside hotel too !!!!!! Roll on my next holiday , i know where i,m going to .
Thankyou Labos Bahia Club
Got back on Wednesday 16 June. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were always polite and helpful.Apartments were serviced daily and when we ate in the restaurant we found the menu varied, well prepared and presented. The activities were well organized and catered for all tastes - my 11 yr. old daughter didn't miss many!! Our thanks to Rick and Didier. Can't thank the hotel personally because 'lobosbahiaclub' does not work for me.
everything we needed!
Loved this place so much! Stayed 4 2weeks jan 2004, havent got a single complaint, will b going back next year for definate.
very happy
Arrive in Furteventua March 28th 04 myself and my partner, my ist time in Corralejeo, very satisfied i must say, apartments very clean, beds comfortable and dining are extremely spacious, kettle and toaster were supplied with apartments, bed linen changed daily pools were good and enormous, did not get around to eating in restaurant but were advised it was good!
fantasy in fuerteventura
What can I say,we have been there 4 times with the family, beatiful and clean, pleasent staff, a little bit of the launguage goes down well with the locals, the pool is superb ( there are 3 actually) everything is spotless. beautifull gardens just booked our 5th trip, and we can't wait { someone in an earlier review complained about the mossie's we have never had a problem with them because we close our windows at night!} but it is the canary islands and its hot, don't go to sweden if you don't like snow! any how love the place, go and see for yourselves dean & joanne& the boys
Better than expected
Stayed in Lobos Bahia Club at end of January 2004 - well situated at beginning of main street in quiet area. It was clean and staff were pleasent. Always look for upstairs appartments around the pool or near the tennis courts. In the town of correlejo always go to the old town at the end to eat - better variety and atmosphere. On way back nice bar with veranda on left - cant recall the name (good sign!). Spend the day on the sand dunes - very relaxed and safe. Lots of naturists further down beach. Bring your lunch with you. Great value resort except for 75 Euro to visit a doctor - only complaint was the mosquitoes. I would be wary about going in high season as it may be very "honky tonk"
clean apartments some nice staff. BUT........
we stayed for 2 weeks last year (2003) nice place and staff, good facilities but... when they watered the plants its smelt of human excriment, quite overpowering when the sun was shining. also they were building around there so we listened to a pile driver for our 2 weeks. We were put above 2 families with very unruly and very noisy children, we asked to move but they were full. The food was disgusting flies all over it no covers to protect it. Also my husband got so badly bitten by mosis he needed anti biotics. Would not stay at this hotel again.
