These appartments are spotless. They are new (opened last year I believe) and everything works and is new. We had a two bedroom flat which offers views both to the front and rear (so you can follow the sun or shade round - which ever your preference). We were on 19th floor so the views over the seas, mountains, countryside, local villas, other hotels/appartments, salt marsh and rock Ifach were excellent. The white sands of the beach was visible too, where you can hire sunbeds, and there are a variety of shops/cafes/restaurants which are reasonably competitive and will sell you most things you might want during your stay. There are a few shops, internet cafes and supermarkets close by as well as a variety of restaurants.
The lady on the desk was very helpful, taking care of our cases whilst we whiled away the few last hours before our flight home. I found everyone in the area friendly and helpful. There is no rubbish around and everything worked. This was the best accommodation I have had in Spain and was very reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation in going back there again.
I took the trouble to write this because there was only one review on the internet - which complained about a lack of towels (2 hand towels for the week - we didn't have that problem there were plenty) and lack of toilet rolls - yes we only had two halves to last five of us but there was a supermarket over the road that we used every day and given the minimal cost, I suggest such a complaint might be a little spurious.
We wanted a place that was clean, everything worked and provided a convenient and comfortable base to relax away, a little, from the hustle of Benidorm (30 mins drive), but close enough to sample the delights of the amusement parks, countryside, wildlife, sites of architectural interest, as we chose, and in that, it was perfect. We don't do night life - the hotel next door had evening music, and the double glazing that kept the air conditioning work extremely efficiently, shut out the excess tones of that, too.
So why don't I give it 10/10? Two very minor reasons: the building is not labelled - we found it eventually by its proximity to the Diamante Hotel (next building, up the road away from town; a cream and caramel coloured appartment block), specifically identifying it on foot by the name on the dustbins which were tastefully tucked away in a small leylandii surrounded HSE compliant compound at the front. The second reason is that there was no parking (knew that before we went) but I would recommend that if you hire a car you get full damage cover. We were lucky and managed to park fairly close around the corner but the car we hired displayed the minor dinks and dents of previously being subjected to parking shunts and scrapes when its (or its neighbour's)steering lock failed the task of cleanly extracating the vehicle from a tight position. Like most western countries, parking is at a premium in Spain too, and from what we saw, drivers appear less troubled than in the UK by the potential consequences of blocking in adjacent vehicles.
