This hotel was given to us as allocation on arrival, and did not know much about this hotel. This was a good hotel, but had its down sides.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The pool was Ok, a bit small and deep maybe, but there is a children’s swimming pool. Get down there early to get sun lounger though. Germans take them quickly. This is a French, German and English hotel.
Entertainment in the evenings was done in all 3 languages. Can be funny, but didn’t really sit down to watch it. We met a few other couples, so we sat with them. Your able to do bowling in the sister hotel, next door. 5dinar each, not bad.
The public toilets in the hotel, are disgusting, they need cleaning, I did complain, nothing was done though.
The beach is gorgeous. So lovely, there is a nice beach bar for drinks (soft drinks are free) and snacks. I also did parasailing, plenty of water sports on the beach. Water Park is a 5-10 minute walk down the road; you can see this from the beach.
We went on a Thompson excursion to the Animal Park and then on a Pirate after, this trip was all done in one day. It was Ok, but was disappointed. You didn’t really get to see the animals, they were all hiding in the shade, it was very hot (mid 40's) when we went.
There were loads of animals to see, but we had walked around the entire park with in an hour, because it was so hot and not enough shade.
We then went to the Pirate ship, which more enjoyable, it was nice to jump of the ship and jump in the sea to cool off. Also there was a hawk on the ship; you can have your picture taken with it. There is also entertainment on the ship towards the end, the annoying thing is, these pirates were at our hotel performing the next night.
I here the Thompson Show Stoppers is good, in a way I wish we went for this excursion.
Pool snacks are nice, Doughnuts, pancakes, pizza sandwiches.
If you have kids, then the Animation team will be great for them, they let the kids get involved and have fun, and they even have the opportunity to perform at the entertainment evenings. There’s dancing, aerobic, darts, polo. (There is mini golf, but its rubbish)
Try going to the Market, you will be hassled, but just ignore them. You will find bargains, but make sure you haggle.
I would defiantly go back to Tunisia, but maybe one that is only an English hotel.
Hope you enjoy your stay like we did.

I don’t normally fill in these sorts of things but I feel compelled to write our views on the Nozha Beach Hotel.
We arrived as the hotel had just opened up to Thomsons British holidaymakers at the beginning of the season. It had been mainly geared to French, Italian & German guests before then.
Despite this, the staff were very welcoming and I think from comments they made preferred the Brits’ sense of humour and the fact we participate in the entertainments more than our European neighbours.
The staff, actually Tunisians in general, are very friendly and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The hotel isn’t the most modern, but very clean and the hotel’s facilities were brilliant. The pool is patrolled by a lifeguard and as it has its own private beach so you needn’t leave the hotel!
The food was good and no one will starve although I’m sure many will moan about the lack of fish fingers and chicken nuggets but hey, if you want that don’t go ‘all inclusive’ in a Muslim country!
The waiters are very attentive, the entertainment staff FANTASTIC and although we’re not the biggest fans of Bingo we ended up getting drawn into some of the evenings entertainments as well as the daytime games. Although if you don’t want to participate you’re not hassled - oh and I didn’t hear Karaoke mentioned once!
Sure you get hassled in the shops if you venture from the hotel but you must remember that Tunisia is essentially a poor country and making a sale of a fake Rolex pays their bills for a week.
What else can I say, a wonderful holiday, we will return, as will many of the other families we spoke to while there. We have an 8 and 10 year old and they loved the holiday & Tunisia.
There were some older guests in the hotel and everyone seemed to get on OK (apart from a French woman who kept telling the children to 'sshh!!' despite having a room above the entertainment! I wouldn't mind but they weren't even making any noise!).
Also, because there's no pubs and clubs outside the hotels you don't get idiots staggering in drunk at all hours - it's a perfect family holiday.
Oh, Thomson’s excursions were great, as was our Rep. and despite which one(s) you choose to go on, if at all, we found them excellent value for money!
