just back from eken it was great, we were all inclusive and we cant complain about the food or drinks, the rooms were spacious clean and cleaned daily the pool was a good size and clean, 2 minute walk from the beach, the only down size to the resort is if ur going anywhere ... more

we stayed at the eken hotel for very cheap all inclusive, we arrived in the middle of the night to a receptionist that could not speak or understand english, when we arrived to the room it was very clean and tidy. The food is ok much of the same every day though. The music plays all through the day and up until about 2am so if you dont like loud music or are elderly i wouldnt reccommend the hotel. We had trouble with some very loud drunken people outside our room every night and when we complained the receptionists couldnt really understand... more

Last minute deal to Turkey beginning of May 2007. The Hotel was good. The staff very friendly, polite, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a maid service daily. The food was good but did become a little boring after a week. Mind you, we were there at the start of the season. After reading reviews I was nervous about staying here but there was no need for me to be. I had a really good time especially since it was low season and fairly quiet. The staff were exceptional. Polite, friendly and funny they made my holiday. Metin the bar 'captain' looked after us and I'm sure he could speak every single language going! This hotel had only my family and 1 women and her daughter that were British. Unfortunately for us they left after we had been there 5 days. There were a lot of dutch people who were very nice but kept to themselves. Toward the end of the holiday we spoke to some of these who were of the same opinion as us. My fiance and I stayed at the Eken Resort Hotel for 1 week at the bargain price of £250 (all extras included). What a bargain! A bright and beautiful hotel - probably slightly higher than Travel Lodge standard in the UK but with nice little extras everywhere to give it that welcoming appeal. We holidayed here in October 2006. We got a relatively cheap week, all inclusive. I would have to say that it wasn't the best hotel we have stayed in nor was it the worst. The room was comfortable and clean and towels and bed linen was changed daily. We had a small balcony area which looked onto the road. plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a big double and a single bed. Had a week in September 2006. Met some very nice people - pity that when we arrived at 5.30 a.m. the hotel was overbooked. Not what you need at that time of the morning. Food was good - always something that you could enjoy. Pool area good - although there is no shallow end. Within easy reach of the beach. Shops, etc nearby although you have to climb a hill!!!!

i loved the hotel and the staff at the hotel but the conditions they have to live in are terrible and they have to work long hours with not very good treatment. a few holiday makers noticed the way the waiters were treated and thought they werent treated very well. they were shouted at for mistakes and took abuse off the guests.
