Fantastic Last Minute Break, well worth the money!!
from LouLouOxford
Stayed 1 week at the Marmaris Park Hotel in Icmeler and loved every minute!!! Food and drink was very good standard all rooms and amenities very clean and the staff have a good level of hygiene all wash hands regularly and chefs wear hats and gloves. Me and my husband booked about 3 weeks before travel date and had read the previous good reviews and would totally agree with them the hotel is in a great location to the near village of Icmeler (about 15 min walk) which has a good nightlife if you want to get away from the entertainment. Hotel entertainment is very good especially the childrens disco first, we do not have children but would recommend it for children as entertainment is provided through the day as well as food is good for them. To get to the bigger town of Marmaris you will need to get the Dolmus bus which can be got at the security gate of the hotel, costs 2 lira (about 80p) each way per person, in Marmaris you will find Bar Street, name says it all a street full of bars and clubs, this is very good for a night out but a bit more expensive than nearby Icmeler about £6 to £7 a round!! Also has a lovely beach for a daytime visit.

We (me, my fiance, my friend and her husband) have just returned from a weeks holiday at Marmaris Park Otel in Marmaris, Turkey. We have been to Turkey many times but never have we stayed in hotel as good as Marmaris Park. Everything about this hotel was fantastic.... the rooms were very spacious and extremely clean, the pool was very big and also very clean. There were plenty of sun beds all with sun umbrella's, either by the pool on down by the sea. The animation staff were always organising games throughout the day (and sometimes can be quite pushy about joining in) but if like us you were just there for a relaxing time, once you've said no enough times they get the picture!!!! The evening entertainment was well....... entertaining!!! it was very random, so random in fact you just had to laugh. We didn't stay at the hotel every night as we went into Icmeler a few nights. Icmeler is only 10-15mins walk from the hotel or for about 75p you can get the dolmus (local bus) into the centre of Icmeler from the front of the hotel which takes about 3 mins. THE FOOD: The food was fantastic, there was a great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. there was always soup, at least 2 meat dishes, a fish dish and a veggie dish also lots of veg and salad. And best of all the sweets, oh my god the sweets......... Although we were only there for 1 week, we never ate the same thing twice!!!!!! We wanted to go on a boat trip, the hotel has its very own trip organiser 'JIMMY BOY' and would advise everyone to book with him. We had a fabulous day, the boat was very clean, the lunch which was provided was lovely and all the boat staff (Jimmy's family) were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recomend this hotel for people of all ages, couples and families.
Great holiday, can't wait to go back!!!

Where do I start?? Me, my husband and our 18 month old son stayed at Marmaris Park for one week, and wished we had booked two!! The whole of our stay was fantastic throughout, the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, I will say that one or two do not speak as good English as the others, but this did not pose any problems for us. The rooms were clean and tidy and we had a maid service every day. The food was of a wide variety at all mealtimes and we never had the same thing twice, although as mentioned in other reviews there isn't a full English at breakfast time, but then again you are in Turkey!! The beach bar serves fresh pizza, chips & burgers during the afternoon which was great for an afternoon snack. The bar is open from 9.30 til late, so drinks flow freely!! The pool is lovely with plenty of sunloungers, so no need to put your towel down early!! The private jetty is also fantastic to sunbathe, even though we didn't manage this as our son has no fear and would have probably gone head first into the sea!! Icmeler is about 20 minutes walk away, however you can get a taxi for about 10lira which is about £4.00, and a taxi to Marmaris will cost you about 15lira which is about £6.00. Make sure you agree the price before you get in as not all of the taxis work by meter. All in all a great experience and can't wait to go back in October.
Cozy Resort at a Scenic Location
from empee3
We stayed for three days in one of the rooms at the bungalows next to the main building. These rooms do not have a bathtub and carpet but on the other hand they are nicer as they are in the middle of pine trees and have a more accessible entrance. Supposedly, their rate is also lower. Staff: The reception was OK, although we were greeted by someone who could NOT speak Turkish and asked us with a Russian accent, if we speak English! This was a little weird for starters but later on a Turkish receptionist took over the check-in. Overall, the whole staff, including the waiters, were very friendly and welcoming. They seem to be equally friendly to both local and international guests. Facilities/premises: It is a relatively small-sized property, which makes it more cozy and less crowded and presents a nice opportunity to interact with other guests. There was only one big pool with a small section intended for kids. There was no elevator anywhere at the resort, not even in the main building. This is a major drawback for people with disabilities. Our room and bathroom was very clean, and was taken care of every day. Food and service: The buffet was decent but the main dishes lacked variety. Compared to other resorts, buffet was relatively smaller. There was no service at all by the waiters. We would have liked to see waiters bring the beverages, at least between meal times. We had to get everything ourselves, and sometimes you have to walk quite a bit to get a drink, as there are no water fountains and cold beverages are only served at the bars. In some other resorts the drinks are served by the staff and there you do not sweat as a guest to get beverages. Also the bar staff seem to be ordinary people who did not know how to present or serve a drink. Entertainment: Our 3-year old daughter had a great time in the evenings during the "Baby-disco" time. Other than that the music was alright, although the adult entertainment was a bit cheesy for our taste. Nevertheless, the entertainment staff were friendly and warm.
Great Holiday

We stayed at the Marmaris Park hotel for 2wks. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, our cases where taken promtly to our rooms. We stayed in the holiday villas, which were located at the side of the main hotel building, surrounded by pine trees, this was good as it kept your room cool during those super sunny days :) We were also lucky enough to get a gorgeous Sea View, it was spectacular to wake up every morning to what looked like a dream. The food was good, apart from Breakfast was nearly the same everyday, Cheese, Bread, Spicy sausage, Olives, Quiche. It was all good, but after the 1st week, we would of liked to see some english breakkie. For dinner there was a good selection of meats and rice, potatoes. We also ventured to the Beach Bar for Pizza & Chips. Your evening meals always had Rice & potatoes, various veggies, Chicken, Turkey, Liver, Steak, Kebab Meat, Goulash, Stews, followed by a huge selection of beautifully presented Deserts. The pool area was great, plenty of loungers so no panick if your gonna get a seat. The kids club (aka Mini Club) was also brilliant, the young girl who ran it Nastya was brilliant. Infact the whole entertainment team where fab! We will miss them all. Overall A great time had by all, I would definatley go back !

Spent two weeks at the marmaris park this september . Six of us went my mum and dad in there late 60's my 15 year old daughter and her friend and my partner and myself ,we all had a wonderful time . The hotel is in a fantastic location with great views ,a lovely walk along the beach path into icmeler great of an evening or hop on the bus into marmaris which stops right outside the hotel . The food was great and we all managed to fill our plates even my daughter who is a veggie ,the sea front snack bar has freshly made pizza and chips and is a great place to spend an afternoon. The rooms didn't have a sea view but where nice and quite and cleaned every day . One warning you will get hassled by Jimmy boy to go on a boat trip but if you book he will leave you alone and for under £10 for the whole day with lunch you would be mad not to ! the boat is run by jimmys family who were fantatic you stop of for a dip or drive at about six places it was so good we did it twice !! This is a really great place and we will be going again.
Fantastic Hotel and resort

My partner and I booked 2 weeks in the Marmaris Park Hotel (25-9th July) after we passed it last year and thought it looked rather nice. THE HOTEL(main building) Gorgeous, spaciuos place, always clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipt with a colour TV with lots of channels, hairdryer, big wardrobe, dressing table and table and chairs. Our balcony was average size with table and chairs and a partial see view. THE FOOD (ALL INCL. BUFFET) What can i say... at least 5 different mains each night with a variety of veg and different forms potatoes (chips, wedges, fried etc) which were all topped up and replaced every half hour! They also had a grill with a chef cooking a different meat every night. From fish to steak to chicken to liver to turkey..it was delicious! There was a chef freshly chopping melon for desert every night too..mmm! A very large selection of salads, rice fruit and deserts were located inside on 2 massive tables, appearance is everything and they sure did impress! At lunch you had a choice, either eat from the main buffet or hit the beach bar for pizza and chips! Also excellent! THE POOL/SEA We never ventured into the pool as we found a great spot on the Jetty where we spent most of the time sunbathing. Pool was large with lots of activites going on daily for both young and old! The Jetty was stunning, a large T shape with comfy loungers and steps into the sea..totally out of this world! The view and chilled out atmosphere were breathtaking! Although the water is very salty, it is crystal and spotless clean and beats spain hands down! Will never go to spain again!! Not a patch on turkey! THE STAFF The waiters and entertainment staff were fab. Although there English is basic, they tried new words and wanted to know all about things. The work very hard and very smartly dressed all be it that the out fits look like something from the 60's! Overall We loved this hotel. 20 mins walk to Icmeler and a longer 40 mins to the centre of Marmaris. Only one problem with the hotel and indeed turkey as a whole. Too many RUSSIANS!!! I certainly will be back next year and reccomend this to all ages! Any questions, just ask! Lexi

beware of rating of this hotel
from annbaines
This hotel feature as four star in one brochure and three is another. The group I travelled with feel it stuggles to meet a 3 star. Although the faciltties were OK the staff were unfriendly, spoke very little Englist and the choice of drinks for an all inclusive was very limited and wine undrinkable. There is no cocktail menu and if you ask for cocktail you get a mix of spirits poured into one glass with milk and fruit jucie. The tennis court is reached via very grubby and smelly tunnel; the court itself is on a quite remarkable incline. Although we enjoyed our week I would not choose to use this hotel again - only one member of staff raised a smile all week.
It is great and I reccomend everyone!

I may recommend to spend 2 weeks in Marmaris Park to have enough time to enjoy sea and go sightseeings. Advantages: -we lived in bungalo which was located in a park -cosy and clean room -40 meters to the sea -the hotel works on system All Inclusive -every evening we enjoyed performance/animation Disadvantages: -sea temperature is never more than 25 degrees -possibility to become fat because of overeating)) -dicso is small (but you may take a taxi and in 10 minutes you will be in the center of Marmaris city where there are a lot of fun)
i have just came back frome marmaris park hotal and it was a brill hoilday did not wont to leva this hotel thestaff were brill and cant wait till neixt year to go back there
