Rushpool Hall Hotel

What a dreadful and disappointing stay we had at Rushpool Hall. We stayed for New Year & booked dinner and a 4 poster bedroom. First impressions were good and hotel seemed lovely. Unfortunately this is the only decent thing I can say about the hotel.
Firstly the hot water throughout the hotel was off. When we enquired about this we were told it would be on in 10 minutes but it didn't come back on at all until the next morning so were we unable to shower or even wash prior to the evenings New Years Eve events. No further info was provided or even an apology offered.
The dinner was dreadful and the 'fillet' steak inedible (stringy and tough). No alternative was offered or even a different steak so all we were able to eat was veg. Next morning even though the hot water appeared to be back the shower in our room was not working. We mentioned these things to reception and were told to write in with these issues as there was no-one available to discuss these with (2 other parties were also complaining at reception).
After writing to the hotel were received a reply from the manager which stated that no other complaints had been received (even though we saw others complaining at the hotel). All I can say is never stay at this hotel! Be warned!
