Terra Verde Villas

We have recently stayed at this resort, we had some problems with our booking, as we had not booked directly with unique, who we found out were the management company for the villa Southern Orlando, Sue and Rachel couldn't have been more helpful, they sent confirmation emails asuring us that our booking was safe, aranged for the pool heating to be put on the day before we arrived so it was hot when we got there. On arrival, we couldn't find the pool light and an over door light was not working, both bulbs were change imediately. Four days into or holiday a thunder storm knocked of the pool heat, I went to see Sue and before I could get back to the villa and get changed to get in the pool, sue herself had come round and sorted it all out. I would highly recommend using unique as management company, the villa was very well maintained and the staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpfull.

i took my family on vacation before my son goes to the marines and we took a four bedroom townhouse and it was bad the bathroom upstair did not work the pool was nasty the pump did not work and the water was alwas dirty we called the office the people were not helpful they came the day before we left and we there there for two weeks the resort did not have anything that they said like mini golf the community pool was always close. overall it was the worsed vacation ever.

we have just come back from the best holiday ever! we stay in a villa called Sunset Place on Terra Verde Kissimmee, it was like staying in a five star hotel, it had every thing we could want for, with its own pool and jacuzzi. It was well located and was only 10 mins from all the disney parks, shops and resturaunts, wall mart was just around the corner. After staying in this villa I would not stay in a hotel again. as we had all the homley comforts. Would most definately stay in this villa agian, 10 out of 10.

we stayed here in a 6 bedroom house,all i can say is brilliant, it is a gated community, you needed a pass, the house was out of this world everything in that you wished for, near all the shops 5 min away and theme parks 20 min away, a very relaxing place when you need to chill out from the hectic timetable we had!!!!

We just stayed in Terra Verde and already plan to visit again. It is very close to shopping and theme parks. We were in a four bedroom home. It was very clean and decorated very nice. Nice screened in pool. We will stay here again ! ! ! They do only give you one key and you will need to bring all your own paper products tissue,paper towel, trash bags etc. Thats a small price to pay for the wonderful pool and house. The tiki bar was nice when it was open but you never were sure when that would be. I belive that it's fairly new and they were working on new hours for it though. No worries with booking the Terra Verde

We went through Villa Direct. I read a lot of reviews on TripAdvisor and contacted many owners directly. There were just too many to choose from! I was worried about doing business with owners directly due to some reviews of places where nothing was as it was advertised once you got there. Villa Direct had a very nice website, Terra Verde was one of the areas that got good reviews on TripAdvisor, so I went with it. Our experience was...okay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was out, it was Memorial Day weekend, and it was several days before it got fixed. 2 of the boys moved their mattresses to the living room floor downstairs so they could have the overhead fan blowing on them and that helped. The mattresses in the condo were very cheap and mine was literally falling apart with the wood frame and springs exposed. The furniture and curtains were mismatched, KMart quality and hodgepodge, but, still, it was clean and roomy. AND, the furnishings did NOT match the Virtual Tour on Villa Direct's website for London Eye (the name of the unit) AT ALL!! Also, the hot tub seemed to work at random, even turning itself on in the middle of the night. The half dozen police cars and the helicopter that showed up in front of our condo in the middle of our first night was a little exciting too! Terra Verde itself is a beautiful, quiet, gated development. So I guess I can say I would try it again, but not this particular unit and I will try going directly through an owner when we go again this fall to see how that goes. Villa Direct was very apologetic about the air conditioning problem, so I don't mean to diss them, but I was NOT happy with the unit not being as advertised, no matter how "adequate" it was.

Terre Verde is conveniently located with lots of things nearby (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) and a 15 minute ride to most of the parks. Staying in one of the Villa's is perfect if you have children as it gives them the freedom they don't have staying in a hotel. The private pool is great, as they are all screened in which keeps most of the bugs out (not the lizards) and provides a little bit of a shield from the sun. The Villa itself could've been a little cleaner. The carpets were stained and under the beds looked as if they've never been vacuumed as well as the perimeter of the rooms. Sheets and towels were provided and clean. The only cleaning product that was there upon our arrival was dish soap. No sponges, laundry soap or cleaning products. Small bars of soap (hotel style) were in each bathroom. For the price and the convenience though, it doesn't compare to staying in a hotel. I would recommend this to anyone traveling with children or multiple family members. Just make sure you arrive early enough for a trip to the supermarket to "stock up" for your stay!

Obtaining access to the house was a bit out of the way and inconvenient (as was the checkout) but all in all it was a good value for the money. They only gave you one towel per person so one of the first things we had to do was buy extra towels. Also, we had on several requests prior to check in requested additional keys and that never happened either. The community itself was beautiful and the clubhouse was very nice. The community is gated 24/7 so that also is comforting. The house was beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped but the vaccuum cleaner bag was full, clogged and there was no extra bag to replace it. Also, the water in one of the tubs would not go down so we had to unclog a drain - (you can imagine). All in all it was a very comfortable stay, with plenty of room for everyone. In the future I would rent again from them as long as when my check in was planned, I would be able to deal with a live person - not a drop box. None of our calls (even to 24 hour hotline) were returned. Maybe there were other avenues to obtain a rental in the same community. Driving time to Disney about 10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic. You could probably do just as well in one of the many other communities in the area.

Our first trip to Orlando was even more fabulous due to our exceptional accommodations at our rented Terra Verde home! It was professionally decorated throughout and neat & clean as a button. I would highly recommend a home with a game room (where the garage is converted into a game room w/pool table, playstation 2 etc.) and a pool and hot tub! After spending the whole day at the resorts it was nice to come home around 11pm and relax in our private heated pool and hot tub. The location is within a 10 minute drive to downtown disney and RT 4..for easy access to Wet & Wild, Sea World and Universal...yet a world away from all of the noise of the parks. The kids and adults loved the pool table & game room. The resort does have a walk-in pool, basketball courts, small gym, computer room and hot tub...but to be honest we were content with our own house. Our friends & their children staying in Disney ended up visiting for a couple of early evenings and loved it. It is DEFINETLY worth the extra couple of minute drive and its cheaper too!

This was our first experience staying in a villa, and it was wonderful! It actually exceeded our expectations for the moderate price paid. It certainly puts motel/hotel accomodations way down near the bottom of our list. Terra Verde is a very attractive resort, in peaceful surroundings, while still very convenient to attractions, shopping, and restraunts. We were very comfortable in our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath unit, with a tv in each bedroom, and the living room. The laundry room, and well equipped kitchen were very helpful. It was appropriately named "Paradise Villa". The furnishings were very nice, the hot tub on the patio was a treat, and our location right next to the lake was special. Some mornings, ducks would waddle their way up to our patio. We took relaxing evening strolls around the lake. Some visitors were fishing there. The resort itself was very well maintained, and the staff was quite friendly. We spent MANY hours at the beautiful pool. Our grandsons (3 yrs. old, and 8 months old) just couldn't get enough of it, along with the playground next to it. While we did enjoy some treats from the Tiki Bar, we also liked being able to trot back to our villa and have lunch, and then return to the pool. We 4 adults took advantage of the hot tub at the pool also. Our days were so enjoyable that we only left the resort to visit Sea World for 2 half days. All in all, we had a very relaxing vacation at Terra Verde and wished it could have been a longer one. We picked a perfect weather week too. We'll certainly hope to return again as soon as we're able to.
