simply wonderful
Excellent. I wanted to get away for a little while (13 nights stayed here every night) and escape from the daily routine. I am very pleased with my stay. I dove with the owners and enjoyed a very comfortable stay at their lovely B&B. I felt as if I was at my own personal apartment (with daily maid service and a great breakfast) in Cozumel as well as enjoyed the company of Janie and Oliver. The B&B is located well within everything, from the main areas of diving, dining, shopping, eating, and everything else that Cozumel has to offer. I... more
Great Hosts
We had a great stay here in Febuary for 5 nites, our host, Oliver, divemaster, took us out for 3 days of incredible diving, put photos and video of our dives on an a disk for us to leave with. Our hosts shared their knowledge of the Island of Cozumel with us, showed us around, introduced us to the locals, the real Mexico. Full breakfast in the morning with other guests, really enjoyable. Enjoyed the stay!
Spent a week with Oliver & Janie and throughly enjoyed our visit. Felt just like home. The breakfasts were great, the company we shared the house with were very friendly & helpful and we shared our diving stories with one another. Do yourself a favor next time you're down Cozumel way....stay at the Las Lunas and avoid the big hotels. Thanks again for a wonderful visit. PM & RB
Viva Las Lunas
The highlight of our seven weeks spent in the Yucatan region of Mexico this winter was our stay at the Las Lunas Bed and Breakfast in Cozumel. In fact , Oliver and Janie Robertson proved to be such gracious host that we returned three times, with three generations of family members, to show them the treasures of the island both above and below the turquoise Carribbean. With beautifully appointed rooms in a lovingly tended natural setting, Las Lunas provided a relaxing environment after days spent diving or exploring. Our hosts'... more
Wonderful, once again!
This was my partners and I third time staying here. It felt like we were going back home! Janie and Oliver were, once again, very attentive & gracious hosts! We would never think of staying anywhere else on the island, for now we have "family" there. Its one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed at. The breakfasts were simply decadant, the coffee was waiting for us when we awoke, and our hosts greeted us with big smiles in the morning! The other guests were all very interesting to talk with and we had a blast sitting in the yard... more
Great place
I spent a week and half at this b&b and enjoyed every moment there. It is a place where you can really unwind, just put your feet up in one of the many hammocks available. The owners are nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the local area. They are willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are more than adequate and the beds are very comfortable.
We LOVED this place!
We wanted to see the real Cozumel, not the pasturized, homogenized version those slick, all-inclusive resorts offer. Las Lunas was perfect. They knew the best places to go for great food, great diving, great snorkeling, and even to watch the sunset. They were kind, interesting and fun ... as were the other guests we met there. Las Lunas seems to attract adventurous and interesting people. Our room was clean and very nice. We loved visiting with the other guests in the courtyard and over delicious breakfasts. Great Place and Hospitality
We stayed at Las Lunas for seven nights and had a wonderful time. The Inn offers a great alternative to the resort scene for those interested in a more down to earth experience. Janie and Oliver are oustanding hosts and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. They also provided us with great advice on places to eat and will help to arrange diving trips or other activities. The Cozumel Sailing trip was one of the highlights. Janie's breakfasts were always enjoyable and our room was very clean (and kept that way with daily maid... more
The way it should be
This bed and breakfast run by Janie and Oliver provided us with a comfortable home and the expertise required to meet our groups special interets. The location was far enough from the noise but close enough to get to most anything you wanted The rooms are comfortable, food is excellent and most of all the owners are there tending to everything you need. Janie and Oliver had a way of being there when you needed them, while giving you all of the privacy and quiet time one can hope for. My friends and I were visitng Cozumel to do some... more
Home sweet Home in Coz
I have stayed in a few guest houses, B&B's and dive lodges in my time but never have I had such an enjoyable stay as I had with Janie and Oliver at Las Lunas Inn in Cozumel. The house and rooms are excellent/clean and Janie makes you a great hot breakfast every morning. There is a personal touch at Las Lunas that is rare in this day and age. These people make you feel like family and go well out of their way to ensure your stay if enjoyable. Read the web site, its all true! Oliver is a top notch reef guide and I enjoyed diving with... more
