Excellant hotel this was our second visit we had been the previous year June 2006. This time we took family and friends back. Staff very helpful, hotel very clean they couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast was simple but just right bar food very good and cooked fresh to order everyone who worked or stayed there very friendly plenty of bars and places to eat around couldnt ask for more. We like it so much we are going back July 2008 and taking more friends with us .

My family have been coming to Argassi for the past 10 years and staying at the Porto Iliessa, we highly recommend it to families or couples of all ages.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Ode our barman.
The apartments are lovely and well maintained; all of the rooms have beautiful views out over the sea.
There are lots of things to do in Argassi, lively bars, nightclubs, restaurants and water sports.
It is a 10 minute taxi ride into Zante town, where you can visit St Dennis chapel and lots of other historic attractions. In August it is the festival of St Dennis and the place has a carnival feel, with live music and a huge market at the harbour.
The temps can reach into the 40's, so if you like it very hot come to Zante.
The prices are very reasonable, a pint of their local lager is 2 Euros (very nice lager), 2 litre bottle of ouzo is 10 Euros and eating out is very cheap. For a two course meal for 3 you would pay around 20 Euros.
The food is very good and there is a lot to choose from on the menu.
We have booked again for August 2007 and can't wait to be there. Come see for yourself.
