Mystique

My family and I just stayed three nights at the Mystique. I can only tell you that it was nothing less than wonderful. In fact, I have never written a review and I felt compelled to write one about the Mystique after reading the somewhat mixed reviews. Granted the Mystique has a large number of very steep steps...but so does every place in Santorini...that is the charm. Granted the tubs are so large that it takes a very long time to fill. Prime (exceptional) location, very calm and very beautiful views including from the individual balconies at each room. Perfect for a resting stay. The so-called cave "suite" we had (close to 600 EUR a night) was however just a room (ok, a traditional cave) with a sofa in addition to the bed: in total, more or less of the size usually expected for a "single room " in a five stars hotel. My recent stay at the Mystique hotel in Santorini, Greece is a departure from the treatment that has kept my loyalty with Starwood, and I hope my encounter was an isolated incident due to cultural misunderstanding, rather than a reflection of poor service that drives away their best customers. Mystique is amazing. Our trip started with a pick-up from the port in an airconditioned Mercedes van, that took us on the 35 minute trip to the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with champagne, and our luggage was wisked away to our our room. Though, our first thought when we arrived was, "Wait, where's the hotel?" Decided I would take a chance with Mystique, despite it being brand new and having no reviews. It was a beautiful hotel and our room (Vibrant Suite # 14) was decorated very nicely. It was clean and comfortable. I found the staff to be very friendly and extremely hardworking. They immediately took care of anything we needed. i've stayed in mystique for 5 nights in June it was a so great experiece to describe.It is completely new hotel,and staff there were so kind.We got warmest welcome and best service there. Unforgetable vacation in oia!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Mystique for 5 nights in the beginning of June. We were picked up at the airport in a nice van by the hotel and taken 25 minutes to the Oia where the hotel is located. It was very late at night, so we did not get to see the view until the morning, but we definitely noticed the unbelievable amount of steps to get around the hotel. Having recently stayed at the Mystique for six nights I would say that the location is excellent, rooms are very clean and have nice amenities and the staff is youthful and eager to please. The hotel opened on May 15 and it was evident that some punchlist items were still being worked on while I visited but it was not a distraction. Stayed at Mystique in late May after a wonderful holiday in Mykonos. The property had been open for only about two weeks when we checked in. We had requested ferry port pickup and transfer from Fira to Oia. We were met at the dock and driven the 25-30 minutes in a very comfortable Mercedes SUV and offered bottled water for the trip. Don't even think about it! Poor service, poor decor and waaaayyyyy to much attitude. The only Starwood Property I have ever been to that I would never suggest. Save your money and go to Katikies...a much finer location
