I had a wonderful stay in Budapest. The hotel had great views over the dramatic wide river, which separates the two historic cities of Buda and Pest. The streets are narrow, often cobbled, and full of bakeries, interesting shops, bars and restaurants. There is a pedestrianised area near the hotel ideal for evening promenades. I was aware of the sex trade, which made me a little uncomfortable at times. I recommend visiting the park full of Communist era statues!!!
