Oh my god!!!!
This is an absolutely amazing place to stay.
The hotel is probably one of the best looking in the area! The staff are friendly and food is great. Sometimes it can be annoying waiting for lifts as there are only "two" lifts even though there are four. This is because 2 are for even floor numbers and 2 are for odd floor numbers.
The hotel is situated close to the beach, shops, fast food, and NIGHTLIFE!
The nightlife is fantastic.... I spent my of the holiday in the SQUARE.... which is surrounded by clubs and bars.
My favourite bar out of the whole area has to be JOKERS!!!!
It was amazing.... you get a free shot on entry and there are often special deals on your drinks........... the songs are fantastic and there is a stripper on every night alternating between a man and a woman. The atmosphere is amazing. AND it doesn’t close until 8AM!
The staff are incredibly friendly.... I made friends with them all especially the DJ and Paul a waiter behind the bar!
We also saw STICKY VICKY however disgusting she is she is definitely a must see person!!!
I definitely recommend this place to everyone........... even if you don’t stay in the Dalmatas go to BENIDORM!

Booking Ref. 2xxxxxx
Dear Sirs,
I have just arrived back from a holiday in Benidorm. I was very disgusted and disappointed with both my treatment of travel and accommodation.
The initial upset was upon arrival at Alicante airport. Our baggage was delayed 90 minutes (at least). NO INFORMATION was available and forthcoming initially. I queued to fill in forms and then was finally told, that our luggage had been found. This was after we were told that it was still in Birmingham. Because of this, we travelled by coach to Benidorm in darkness, so that we weren’t even able to enjoy the scenery.
Upon arrival at the Hotel Los Dalmatas, the rep. just left us in the foyer. I went to the reception desk, only to be told, that the room, we booked, wasn’t available. We were given a SINGLE room with NO air-conditioning, and this was on the top floor, when I complained to reception, they gave us another SINGLE room lower down, this time with air-conditioning. This being very late at night, I felt in no way to continue, complaining, and so reluctantly accepted it.
The next morning, I asked for another room, and was told to wait until the afternoon, when we were finally moved to a double room. We didn’t even see the rep. until I had done all the complaining !
Your rep’s report was sent, and the letter I received back says that HE had put things right….HE had NOTHING to do with it.
The “Welcome party” was non-existent, so you can imagine how I feel about Thomson and its’ reps.
This was supposed to be a happy time, as this was our HONEYMOON.
What are you going to do about some sort of recompense and redress??? This isn’t supposed to be how things happen.
As for the hotel…it states in your brochure, that the hotel has 4 lifts, but, it doesn’t mention, that ONLY 2, are available !!!! So that the wait can even be as long as 15 minutes for a lift. (We timed them).
Yours sincerely,
Clive T. Pulley

Aug 2004, Miss S Pajak

We stayed at this hotel (2 x 21yr olds) from 08Aug04 to 15Aug04 on a half board basis. Overall I would say this is a pretty good hotel to stay at. I do not like skyscrapers or flat like block hotels however you soon realise on arrival that most hotels in Benidorm are like this, and this is one of the nicer looking Hotels in the area. The hotel is situated a short walk from Levante Beach (there’s Burger King, McDonalds about 3 shops and you’re on the beach), 10 min walk from the nightlife and about 20-25 mins to the Old town of Benidorm.

There is a basketball/football pitch, small gym, sauna and large indoor seating area near the reception of the hotel. There are two pool tables and a pinball machine. The hotel also has Internet access and a Supermarket. This hotel has a large pool with a shallow end for kids. You have to be up early to get a sun lounger as most of these are reserved (even though there are signs saying this is not allowed!). We found that most guests at this hotel were non-English speaking, and there were a lot of families.
The hotel has 4 lifts, 2 for odd and 2 for even. The lifts aren’t big and at busy times (meals) you do have to wait for the next one.
We had a double room on the 15th floor, with a view of the pool and the street below. We had a maid service daily with fresh towels and sheets. The room was clean and had a TV and air-conditioning. Our air-conditioning was broken on arrival however after reported to reception this was quickly fixed. The bathroom was quite large.
The food at this hotel was nothing different from any other half board I have stayed at. The staff are friendly enough and do speak English. This hotel is in a great location as it’s quiet enough not to be disturbed by the busy nightlife of Benidorm, however everything is close by.
I would stay at this hotel again.

Meals are excellent couldn’t ask for any more. This has to be one of the nicest hotels in Benidorm. Would recommend to anyone. It’s also in a great location.

the Los Dalmatas isn’t that...
7 / 10
Jul 2004, Mrs S Rhodes

the Los Dalmatas isn’t that impressive when you first enter, looking a little old fashioned and everything a shade of brown. we were disappointed at our party of 11 (4 adults and 7 kids) being split between several floors, and the lifts only serving either odd or even floors, meaning we had to jump out on the nearest one and take the stairs.( you could wait up to 20 mins for a lift to stop after passing you by several times).
the air conditioning and balcony door was broken in one of our rooms when we arrived, but this was promptly fixed.
the biggest problem we had was that there is no disabled access at all in this hotel. our five year old daughter is in a wheelchair, but this wouldn’t fit through the narrow doors of the lifts so we had to leave it in the luggage room and carry her everywhere. there are five lots of stairs to get up to the pool from the hotel, which we also had to carry her up to. even a trip to the toilet was hard work with her!
this wasn’t all bad though, as I ended up losing a few pounds despite eating like a horse :-)
now on to the good stuff...which there were lots of. the food was amazing with loads of choice including special nights with extras such as Chinese food. you could eat as much or as little as you wanted and the staff were only a flash of the eye away if you needed them.
the pool was great, just the right size if you need to keep an eye on your children, with a smaller area only 1ft deep for the babies. the pool bar was open from 10am to 1am and serves hot and cold food and drinks cheaply.
entertainment was always available, and there were activities around the grounds all day (shooting, football, water polo, etc). the staff would walk round gathering the kids and taking them off...then they would get certificates at the evening shows.
all rooms had either a sea view or a pool view, which was lovely. the whole place was cleaned by the maids every day and was spotlessly clean. there is even a cheap laundry service provided. the showers were very powerful and there was always hot water.
all in all it was a wonderful hotel. the only thing that would stop us returning is the lack of disabled access. anyone who has trouble getting around should be aware of the narrow non-wheelchair lifts which you have to wait an age for, and the stairs absolutely everywhere.
first impressions aren’t to be relied upon after a long flight and no sleep as the los dalmatas is a wonderful hotel for young able bodied families and older people alike

This hotel was nice but it didn’t strike me as a 4 star. The food was excellent though with plenty of choice, but beware if you are a family of 4 like us as the beds are all in the same room and its quite squashed and no privacy from the kids.
Benidorm has something for everyone; weather was not great this March only 2 days of sunshine. I would go back here again but possibly have two rooms, staff were friendly although we did have a personal cd go missing while we were there, don’t know who had it!

Mar 2004, Ms E Wilkinson

The hotel was quite full when we arrived and we were put in a small room only suitable for a single occupant. We were moved to a standard room the following day and were much happier.
The food was very good and always hot. There was a good selection and it was not repeated whilst we were there.
The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day and the bed linen changed several times in our 7 night stay. The staff were friendly and obliging.
This hotel has a great location, near to everything, but not affected by the sometimes noisy entertainment of Benidorm. I would go again and would thoroughly recommend it to my friends.

I found the Los Dalmatas is a very nice, modern hotel, it has very friendly staff and they even helped when my son shut his finger in the front door. The food was great, a very good variety.
The rooms were clean and maids came round every day.
I would recommend this hotel to any one, especially families.

Excellent Hotel and Staff, the only thing that would have made it perfect is if the lifts would have stoped on all floors.
there were two lifts and each one for odd floor and one for even. If you were at the top its ok they go straight up first.
But having said that it didnt ruin the holiday, We have been for 3 years running and will go back again.
Service is first class, Food is out of this world, loads of choice and nice and hot too, buffet sytle so you can eat as much or as little as you want.
Gala night once a week when women get a rose and there is a carvery. Champagne for breakfast every morning, (when we have been any way).
No one could ask for more this hotel is just the best
