Princess of Mykonos

My wife and I stayed at the Princess following my coverage of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. I needed a break and I got it here. Wonderful place. Loved the fact that the young guy who picked us up at the ship dock was the same guy who took us to our room, and the same guy who served drinks at the pool. Nice kid. Funny. Talkative. The room was simply gorgeous, primarily because of the view. Open the front blue shutters and you're staring out over the sea. Greece was our honeymoon destination, and Mykonos was a must. Princess of Mykonos was ever so perfect for relaxing after a wedding. The view is unbelievable, and the staff will go to any extend to be helpfull. It's not in the middle of the party scene, which is good becuase it's very peacefull and quiet. We rented scooters the next day, and toured it all. But when down time was needed, we couldn't imagine a better place than the Princess. I would go back in a heartbeat, and only stay there.

This had to be one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff, especially the bartender, Yorgio, were stunningly friendly, the rooms huge, the pool the perfect temperature and the breezes that wafted through the many French doors, heavenly. Breakfast was everything European you can imagine and then some.

We stayed at the Princess last June for our honeymoon & were elated when we arrived. We had gone thru Fantasy Travel (who by the way was EXCELLENT) & were unsure what to expect. Although the driver initially forgotten to get us from the port, the staff was extremely accomodating & friendly. The pool - though small - was exactly what we wanted: the view was fantastic & the bar was just right. There were so many little nooks & crannies that were just begging for one to pass the time. We stayed in the Princess in September 2004 for three nights. We found the staff very helpful and friendly; our room overlooking the sea spacious, comfortable and amazingly clean! We rented a scooter and were able to travel back and forth from Mykonos Town with great ease. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast a real treat. When we arrived and were waiting to check in we were served a glass of juice -a very nice touch! We would not hesitate to stay in the Princess on our next visit to Mykonos.

We visited Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini. I was disappointed in the Princess of Mykonis. There was too much noise from other rooms at night and construction noise during the day. Some os the view is now gone due to a big new house in front of the hotel. For the money, I'd go somewhere else.

Our trip in September 2004 was just lovely. The staff of the Princess did everything they could to keep us happy. They are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The room was reasonably small and furniture maybe a little dated but it was all very clean and actually fine. I believe that a lot of Greek accommodation is of this slightly basic standard anyway. The views are just lovely, of the harbour and the little beach nearby. We will definitely return. Maybe next time we'll stay in Mykonos town as we spent a fair... more

I speak from experience since I have been to this hotel twice before in 2000 and 2001 for over a week each summer. This hotel is fabulous. The people are very friendly. The arquitecture is to die for. I felt in love with it from the minute I steped in the front door. I just booked another week for september 23 to the 30th, 2003 (today, making it 3rd time!) and I can not wait to get there. AND, I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Mykonos. I can assure anyone that you will love your stay at this hotel.

Our experience with the Princess hotel in Mykanos was great. This was our first trip to Greece and while we know European hotels are often not to the same standard as U.S. hotels, we were pleased with this one. The bed was big and comfortable. The room spacious with a kitchenette. While the bathroom and shower seemed a little small and old (mainly just not modern) the shower still worked fine and it was not a problem. The rooms of this hotel all circle around the pool which is the main attraction as it has the most amazing view of the sea.... more

This hotel is really georgous. Artwork adorns the walls which makes this place quite unique. The pool is surrounded by comfortable deck chairs and the barstaff will mix up anything you desire- a wonderful retreat from the excesses of the main town (which is fun in small doses!). The staff are so friendly and welcoming although there was no fitness room and we couldn't get music channel on our TV. Neverless, I will return... this hotel has the the perfect mix for a great holiday stay in mykonos.
