Myconian Mare Resort

I definitely recommend this hotel. I had a fantastic holiday at the mykonian mare. The hotel location is perfect for someone who wants a quite place to stay, and at the same time close to the entertainments of mykonos town. The view of the sea and mykonos town from the hotel is wonderful. It was a pleasure coming back to the room terrace in the evening to look at the sunset. The management that has recently changed (I believe) is extremely helpful, welcoming and made our stay at the hotel absolutely delightful.

this by far was the bext 2 weeks of our trip we have stayed at many hotels in mykonos, and the mykonian mare by us has been voted A class. the service from reception, restaurant, bar and room was exceptional and this made our stay far more pleasant. we didnt want to leae the hotel because we felt so relaxed and enjoyed it so much. with the massages etc its heaven. we reccomend everyone stay at the mykonian mare and share the dream Deana & Maki

My stay at the Mykonian Mare The Art Resort and Spa was a big disappointment. Although the location and the rooms are great, the service is poor and staff are not well trained. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the bad servise we were reseiving and an old man who could not speak any English come to see us 2 hourses later and he aparently asked from the receptionist to book us an apointment to see the reservations department. Management definitely needs to improve starting from the very top. First time I experience such bad service... more

My staying in Myconian Mare will always be memorable. The employees are more than welcoming, yet maintening a highly professional attitude. The hotel restaurant was for us the hotel's major advantage, not only for their menu, but for the wondenful terrasse that offers a breathtaking view of the Aegean sea, and the myconian port as well.The rooms are spacious, with minimal decoration based on the myconian style and the hotel facilities including spa were reasonably affordable and qualitative at the same time!! Do not go to this hotel! As it is the most unworthing hotel in Ag. Stefanos...by far! No 24h room service, no WiFi, at least for the moment, Poor in drinks by the pool, No bell boy service... Why are their discribing thereselves as 5*??? Very Poor in services, whatsoever... There was no Spa?????? Why their name is the art hotel and spa?? The rooms were quite clean (Not enough for a five star), but not the hotel surroundings! Unfortunatelly, I lost the confidence of a client, but I share with you his saying, so other may not do the same error.

i saw the nice pictures on the site and desided to reserve this hotel to spend some days in Mykonos....what i seen when i first arrived to the hotel was totally different! stauff could hardly speak english apart from the managers (which u could never never see them), nobody helped us with our luggage.... nothing worked in the room, and the weather in greece is so hot to live without a/c, i couldn't have a shower because the water was so cold (they promissed to fix it one day....) i couldnt have a lunch or a room service... more

The hotel was nowhere as bad as others have suggested. Our room was fine although I understand what others mean when they say lots of effort but a few things just not quite right or a little odd. But is a good location and great view over the ocean. Pool and surrounding areas really nice - had no issue with cleanliness of pool etc. Staff were helpful but could have interracted a little more with guests - were very staid - got the impression they were all family/relatives not really wth much training etc. Overall happy with the stay but... more

Horrible Hotel, unacceptable service and awful condition of the room. The room was Dirty, light broke, swimming pool full of rubbish, incompetent stuff, no Managing Director. It destroy us a day of holiday, then we leave. Incredible that this hotel is still open as a five star Luxury hotel. Never book to Mykonian Mare, it's a fraud.

I was somehow expecting the worst after reading a review here about the hotel, but we decided not to cancel the reservation and go no matter what. Was only for two nights.....What two nights!!!. We spend two beautiful days. the hotel is typical mykonian: all white, with beautiful sunset views. Very well decorated (just see the pictures). There were very few guests at that time so the service was excellent. the room is too much remote controlled: lighting, AC, TV. but after some use you become used to it. The owners of this hotel have tried very hard and had some great ideas but unfortunately for them they have failed dismally due to the poor workmanship and build quality of the hotel. The first room they showed us to smelt of damp. This was due to the fact of insufficient drainage from the shower which flooded the bathroom completely. Also, in the bathroom they had failed to install the hairdryer and just left the live wire hanging from the wall. You can imagine my joy at standing in 2inches of water with live wires protruding next to me.... more
