Brill
from shwoble
This place is absoloutley brilliant for kids and adults inside the hotel but outside its very quiet but thats only because its a new resort in about 5 years time when a lot has been built there it will be like any other resort youve been before. The food is awesome the pool is clean the rooms are lovley and clean just everything is clean.
Reef Often Closed
from scabs
Just got back from a weeks stay (which was plenty as there is nothing to do there) This was not a problem for us as that is one half of why we chose this lovely hotel. The other reason was for the snorkelling which unfortunatley didnt really happen. As the resort faces north, it suffers from high winds which means bigger waves. The reef was close 5 of the 7 days we were there. Other than that it is a fantastic place, no doubt about that. Service was amazing, cleanliness excellent, overall brilliant place. Just not good for...

Great Hotel
from Giacomo57
Me and my wife spent last week at the Radisson El Quseir, we are really satisfied. The check in was really smooth, they give us a room with two single beds, after a little complain we got a room with a queen bed, but with a bad view, as we were fully prepaid no more changes were possible and we accepted that one ( # 2001 ). The place is very nice, beach is a little windy but with nice umbrellas and windshields. Three swimming pools and a nice SPA are in the hotel. Three bars were available, best one ZAR BAR with a nice atmosphere, but...

The perfect hotel for a Christmas break . . .
from rockstro
I booked this on the Internet via TravelRepublic but liaised directly with the Radisson who kindly arranged cheaper airport transfer (half the price using a taxi via them instead of a standard booking online). The Radisson was also good enough to e-mail through a selection of photographs so I could see exactly where I was staying. This is a spotlessly clean hotel, with very polite staff and excellent facilities. My room was a decent size, and the bed was very comfortable! The beach and pools were also clean and great for lounging around...

Summer Holiday in Winter
from Golby
Booked with Saga and had the good fortune that my daughter and her partner decided they would like to come too. They booked on line through another agent. We all got what we were after - temps around 22, diving (snorkelling only for me) and a peaceful, lazy holiday by the sea. The hotel was well laid out with a good standard of food, helpful and willing staff, and total and absolute cleanliness. Not a lot to see round about but got as far as the Nile Valley and Luxor through the travel agent. Two downsides; One, in view...

Nice Hotel with a few flaws
from starfighter441
We stayed here for two weeks and would return to it again. As has been said it is a bit isolated and the next town is, shall we say, "a bit rough at the edges"... Tourists are still a novelty for the people there and they haven't grasped the idea that we don't really care for the"in your face, hard sell approach". The weather was a bit windy while we were there, so we only managed to get into the sea using the dock a few times when the yellow flag was up, even then it was a tad dodgy timing your entrance, or exit according to the...

Beautiful, but disappointing
from Yorkshire_Lynne
This hotel is a beautiful place to stay. It'll be even more lovely in a year or two when the shrubbery and plants have grown. But it's so isolated. We went for two weeks, (big mistake) for sun and snorkelling, and hopefully some diving. I also wanted some shopping!!! The first problem we found was that the coral reef prevented us from walking into the sea. There is an area where it's "OK" to walk on the reef but as the sea was rough because of the wind, it was difficult. Also, it was so shallow that wearing fins for snorkelling just...

Lovely prison
from Idontwriteupgoodones
This is a nice hotel with accommodation and food of a high standard. However, there is absolutely nothing to do, which is fine if you just want to sunbathe and do nothing at all. We wanted to chill out but were bored after 3 days and would have been comatose if we had booked for 2 weeks. It is windy here in February, too cold to sit at the swim-up pool bar and is not warm once the sun goes down. There is a sauna and spa facility but it is not very enticing and you have to pay extra to use it. (We were half board, I do not know if...

New Hotel needs refining
from JCBLeeds
Went to the Raddison on 8th November. Hotel is only 11 months old, very well laid out, the gardens will be spectacular in a couple of years time. We went all inclusive which was very good, the food was varied with plenty of choice including wine with lunch and dinner, which again was very good for Egyot, The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very good with large walk in shower and good mirror for us ladies. The poolside was good with plenty of beds, and shade plus towels. The negatives of the hotel are that the bedrooms could...

A nice surprise!
from lallalalla
We’ve just finished our stay at Radisson SAS Resort that is very close to the Movenpick. We think is a very good resort: -Beach: a large beach and two little bay with clear water. The reef is 50 mt from the beach and you can walk to go there even if we have been told that in one month they’re going to build a ‘passage’ with direct connection to the reef for an easier snorkelling. -Pools: there are three pools, one for children, one with the bar inside (you can drink sitting in the water), one very large for swimming.<br...
