My wife and I have recently returned from renewing our wedding vows on our 50th.wedding anniversary at the Rendezvous hotel and cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. We had champagne and flowers in our room on arrival,a minister to perform the service a decorated table in the a la carte restaurant and so much more. The staff made the whole experience a truly memorable one for all the right reasons. All facilities in the hotel including food were first class. From the minute we arrived to the minute we departed we were pampered and well looked-after in every way.We cannot wait to return. We felt the standard was more like 5 star than 4 star as advertised.

Relaxing, Romantic Vacation of a Lifetime

We stayed at the Rendezvous Resort in Castries, an all-inclive for couples and we thought it was outstanding. We loved everything from the easy pick up at airport to the ride thought the countryside to the resort.
They greeted us with a nice cool cloth and a drink before taking us to our rooms.
The service was outstanding and everyone called you by name, making you really feel at home.
The food was exceptional and we really loved the buffets taking whatever foods you liked.
One of the best things about this resort is that it is located on about a 3 mile stretch of beach that we walked many times a day. It was great to have that option as we noticed most other resort on the island didn't have much for a beach. The bay was gorgous and great fun for sailing which after lessons we did much of.
The grounds are faboulous and many weddings were going on the week we were there.
It was great not having single or kids here, just very romatic for the two of us. Most of the couples here were very friendly as well, and we had lots of fun meeting other couples. The entertainment and night was good as well, some better than others but overall very good.
One thing I really loved was that when you went out shopping on the island the people didn't try and make you purchase their products by pushing it in your face as they do in Mexico or Jamaica. They were more interested in you as a person and wanted to know your name and said "thanks for looking" if you didn't want to buy their product. That was extremely enjoyable for me.
The weather was fantastic in the high 90's. A very relaxing, enjoyable vacation. I would go back in a second.

Perfect holidays at Le Rendezvous

When I look back on the month we had at Le Rendezvous I remember only happiness. The place oozes with it. People we met there over our 30 days have sent us photos and I am struck by how genuinely happy everyone looks. I have been trying to analyse why this is, and it's difficult. I suspect that they all have a philosophy of care which is different to just 'service'. I have experienced a lot of excellent service in my travels, but few places where people really care about what they do for others. And they have it at Le Rendezvous by the bucketful. Because we were there for a month we were able to see the staff (and I mean all the staff) working over a long period of time. We were amazed by their tenacity, their ability to keep up the pressure on themselves, their real pleasure in what they do and their interest in the guests. How they manage to keep that up and make everyone feel so special is remarkable.
We watched the gardeners tending every plant - big and small- and we talked to them about their work and they were happy to share their knowledge with us. And the gardens are superb.
We watched those who wait at table and their attention to detail at every meal, the way they remember everyone's little preferences, and their cheerful demeanour is a delight - and at every meal.
The entertainment staff, water sports and sport's staff are, of course, utterly 'up front' and that is what they are supposed to be. They actually managed to make us do things that we've never done before - and that's a real achievement! And they always made us feel as if we were succeeding, and they made us laugh too!
The administrative staff were always happy to help everyone and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. And they look so wonderful in their various tailored suits and killer heels!
I loved it when the staff came and joined the guests for meals - what a lovely touch! And, of course, the ones we never see - the marvellous, marvellous people in the kitchens. What amazing work they do to provide such consistently good food, and such a variety too, and always so beautifully presented.
The bar staff - wow! Great cocktails, great drinks, great measures! And they're so gloriously laid- back about it all - love it!
We were fortunate enough to have 2 different rooms whilst we were there, and both were cleaned and prepared for us faultlessly - what a great housekeeping service they have!
And we met so many lovely guests who were equally complimentary with their praise of Le Rendezvous. People who arrived tired and ready for a holiday and, by the end of their stay, were relaxed, smiling - and happy. That's it really - they make people happy, all of them, and that's a very precious commodity in a world that's rather edgy at present.
I wanted to single out people, but I can't do that, because I would have to name the entire staff and that's impossible. Everyone, but everyone is a a gem, and gems are to be treasured, and I know that the management do that, because otherwise, why would they all work so hard and with such obvious pleasure in what they do? Whatever it is they do, and whatever is their secret ingredient, they need to just keep doing it because it really works.

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Couples only, an added bonus.
The restaurant was overlooking the beach a fantastic view over your morning breakfast.
Quality of the food was very good. There was a quaint little restaurant I forget the name, which you could book for your evening meal with a guitarist providing background music.
A good choice of activities included e.g. Tai-Chi, Archery, Golf tuition, aqua aerobics, cycling, beach volleyball, giant chess, keep fit room.
You could be as lazy or as busy as you wish. Extra activities include water sports , massages/spa and excursions could be booked through the hotel: a trip around the island in a helicopter and zip-lines through the canopy of the forest.
Our veranda suite was of a good standard with exotic birds visiting if you left the door open. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Altogether an excellent holiday, much recommended.

We stayed at this hotel last year and it was amazing. The staff are great and go out their way to help you. The entertainment is great and the bar stays open until you want to go to bed. The food was lovely and there was a wide range to choose from too.
They do like their dogs and cats over there and they do sometimes come over while you’re eating but if you shoo them away they go.
In this hotel the all inclusive rate is very good, you can have any drinks at all including all English drinks which you don’t usually get in all inclusive packages.

We got married at Rendezvous May 2006. It was perfect! Stayed in the verandah suites in the beautiful, lush gardens - larger, quieter and more private than the luxury ocean front cottages. Book an upstairs suite for maximum privacy.
You can get married anywhere in the grounds and can book all your extras at the hotel so no need to decide before you get there. Food is fabulous - lots of variety and the quality is good. Lots of branded drinks and the cocktail list is good (mainly rum based - obviously!). The wedding coordinators, Sandra and Karen, are excellent. They'll help you choose where to get married, get your dress pressed, altered etc, help you into it and keep you sane. They were our witnesses too!
Rendezvous is pretty, romantic and very special. They only do three weddings a day maximum, unlike others who have a conveyor belt going... Be careful who you book with. Some companies charge for the wedding. Rendezvous offer it free and are exasperated at companies who make (more) money from it. If you can afford it book the helicopter transfers before you go. Its a wonderful way to start and a less stressful way to end your holiday. Return transfers get booked up quickly at the resort.
The local airport means there is a little noise from a few light aircraft during the day - definitely not enough to put you off though.
Go soon - this is the only hotel on a 2 mile stretch of beach - not easy to find in the Caribbean and according to the video man it won't be like that for much longer. Beach shots of the wedding made it look like we were the only two people for miles!
Go - enjoy!

We also got married at the Rendezvous Hotel last year and to say it was perfect is an understatement.
The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an unforgettable time. The little touches in our room on the morning of the wedding made it all the more special.
We had a beachfront Luxury room and it was spectacular. very elegant.
The staff during the day, especially Dino, organised numerous activities to ensure we all had fun during the days if you wanted to join in.
We took a taxi to a resort nearby for one evening but didn’t feel the need to leave the Hotel for anything.
One tip is: we saw the garden rooms and they are still elegant but quite basic. When we return we will book the veranda room as it is very spacious and had a large balcony.
The Staff were very professional and nothing was too much trouble especially for Sandra the wedding co-ordinator.
Can’t wait to return for an anniversary. Our best holiday yet! A good mix between fun and relaxing, intimate and romantic. Ideal for romantic couples seeking time to themselves.

We had a fantastic time at the Rendezvous, my husband and I got married there and we couldn’t wish for a better place to do it. The staff were great, and the facilities outstanding. With regards to wedding everything went very smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
The hotel was very clean and they spend a lot of time maintaining it. There were lots of little extra which really made it special. We didn’t venture out of the complex very much but found the buses easy to use and the locals very friendly too. If you are considering going I would say just book it!
