Hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. All inclusive was very poor, in the fact that before 6pm there was only beer and wine that was free alcohol wise, then at 6pm spirits became free, but all this finished at 11pm, then all drinks including soft drinks and tea and coffee had to be paid for.
the food was ok although not much choice and there were only snacks twice a day, which comprised of pizza for the morning snack and sponge cake for the afternoon snack.
There is also no entertainment whatsoever at the hotel, so its not somewhere to go if you are looking for night life.
The beach is a good 20-30 minute walk from the hotel, and its tough going as very steep hills to walk up and down, but the hotel does run a free mini bus servive to and from the beach on a regular basis.
the village is ok but very expensive for drinks and food, it cost us 19 euro's for two beers and 2 vodka's, so take plenty of cash if you feel like leaving the hotel complex.
Crete itself was beautiful, and car rental prices are very good, we paid 70 euro's for two days which includes all insurance, so we took a trip round the island.
