" The Hotel was lovely with friendly... "
Submitted By: Miss N Glitherow
The Hotel was lovely with friendly staff especially when we had a power cut (because of a storm) they helped me out of the lift when it got stuck and took me to my room.
There was a choice of 5 restaurants but I liked 'The Avocados' and the buffet best.
The room was very nice with two double beds and a lovely view of the swimming pools and beach, only thing wrong with the room was that the bathroom was a bit small.
The swimming pools were good and two of them had waterfalls in them, there were also two jacuzzis. There was a bar where you could have lunch. Also there was a free towel service by the pool.
Also if you do go to the Bahamas you must swim with dolphins!!
Overall the stay was fan-daby-dosy. :)

" Our first impression of the Radisson... "
Submitted By: Mrs E Hassan
Our first impression of the Radisson Hotel Cable Beach were very impressive.
The staff were very friendly and professional at the same time. We booked this hotel as a package deal for part of our honeymoon.
The best feature of this hotel was the beautiful clear beach just outside your hotel room. The rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in.
Having said this we found that the hotel restaurants were very expensive and the best option would have been to go all inclusive.
There is not much to do nearby and would recommend to ask the local people for advice on the best places to go.

" This is a very friendly and fun... "

This is a very friendly and fun complex to locate yourself in the Bahamas.
It is in close proximity to the airport and the hotel is affiliated with 2 other hotels next door to each other, making for one giant all inclusive resort, which you are able to benefit from the facilities as a guest of any of them.
This hotel has a host of amenities including beach equipment, fun activities and sports both inside and out, basketball, table tennis outdoor bar and music.
Plenty of beach beds, 3 moderate sized pools and also all great views from the rooms of the ocean with every room, offering panoramic views of the coastline.
There is also a free fitness centre across the road offering racquetball, tennis courts, cycling and a gym and squash courts. Also a little further down the road is the golf course linked to the complex.
The food is not too bad at the hotel which offers a good selection of buffets, the best I found was at the sister hotel, the most expensive of the 3 in the complex with the casino attached.
The staff are friendly and it is very easy to access the shopping and forts around the island using the local taxis/bus service which run outside the hotel and cost just 1USD per trip no matter how far. Pay the driver when you get off the bus, not on entry.
The fort in the centre of town is worth a visit and offers the best views of the island as well as plenty of locals, who will offer you their knowledge, quoted form the tourist books for a choice tip for the hassle.
Overall this was a very nice place to stay in an otherwise expensive part of the Caribbean.
Definitely not a disappointment and don’t be put off by the refurbishment at the minute, it was not invasive at all and did not start till mid morning and finished by 5pm each day. I did not even notice it most days.

Hotel was very good with excellent facilities. The staff were generally very friendly and the food and drink was good.
The Forge restaurant was closed during our visit which was disappointing.
Downtown Nassau offered good shopping very jewellery and alcohol and the straw market is well worth a visit. Paradise Island and the Atlantis resort are also a must to visit.
Overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

" Fantastic time spent in the sun being... "

Fantastic time spent in the sun being pampered and waited upon. The area was friendly and the atmosphere ranged from gentle and relaxing to magical and exciting in the evenings.

The tour operator’s agent was a local woman who knew where to go and what to do and where not to go and what to do when things went wrong.
Staff at the hotel were all very friendly and the people in the town and markets pleasant and kind.

The weather varied from totally and utterly hot to a nice downpour, which can only be described as relaxing due to the heat. Lots of people sat in the rain just to cool down. The additional extras of visiting areas and tours to different locations were great and the varied life on each of the small islands was fascinating. Managed to get some snorkelling and visited the majestic Atlantis Hotel. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Nothing was too much trouble, wide range of restaurants, selection of pools, catered for both adults & children.
Evening entertainment, centrally located easy to get into Nassau which is a wicked place you absolutely must go to the straw market & a ride on a catamaran & swim with dolphins!!
