Cerviola Hotel

The hotel is brilliant my mum went there from 1986 until 1992 5 times a year then i was born and she couldnt afford it any more until this year and i went to the cerviola for the first time and it was brilliant, the staff are great especially alan the guy that works up stairs in the cafe next to the pool he gave me and my cousin nicknames i was jamaican man because i am half jamaican and my cousin was called blonde for her hair colour. This hotel should not be in pocession of a star rating of any sort. It should be given a health warning. We first became concerned when the courtesy bus from the hotel failed to pick us up from the airport, when it eventually appeared it was a less than road worthy transit van! I travelled to this hotel with my mother and 12 year old daughter. I am only glad that it was not me paying for it. On arriving at the hotel we were told our room would not be ready till the day after as it was occupied. We were put in a small room with three beds in. The next day at breakfast was a very uncomfortable experience, there was no english guests the hotel was full of fishermen and residents who live there mainly old people. Come on now, credit where it's due! You wont find a more conveniently placed hotel, or a nicer family running one. Laurence and his boys work very hard to keep people happy, I have never known them to be rude to anyone, Laurence is a gentleman. My first ever trip to Malta was at this hotel, ok so they dont put frilly tablecloths on, you get what you pay for. The Cerviola is a friendly family run hotel. It's cheap to stay there so It's not top of the range but it is clean and the food is very nice. I go there every year and always have a great time.
