We did not feel at all out of place being two women travellers. Our room was kept spotless and was very comfortable, with all mod-cons.
The enormous garden and pool were very well kept, with wild tortoises wondering around for entertainment.
The position of the hotel is perfect with great views of the sea, the port, and the medina. A retro style hotel which is great value for money.
Essaouira is a lovely place, a wonderful contrast to Marrakech, both of which were holidays we will never forget.
