Enjoyable stay
from Gavatron07
My wife and I stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a package tour. Our room faced the side of the hotel and it was fine. The pool was fantastic to come back to after a days sightseeing and the attendants were courteous and helpful. It is set in very pleasant gardens as well. The setting for our evening meals - out on the terrace overlooking the pool - probably surpassed the quality of the food which was quite okay. Breakfast on the terrace was very enjoyable and was good way to start the day. The GT Farah is well...

Not worth it
from Nadiadecoster
The personnel is very 'hautain' , slow and not too helpfull. Lot's of things don't work anymore and need replacement. The main restaurant is becoming very shabby, it is very loud, worse than the factory canteen. Every day the same food and a limited selection. Almost no traditional dishes. Dishes are not washed very well. One day in the morning the sliced oranges tasted like onions... At the swimming pool towels are used twice, you need to insist to get one from the guy at the pool.
Very disappointed
from HertfordshireHeathan
Stayed overnight during 2 day trip to Marrakech, food not replenished on lunchtime buffet and very limited in choice. View from room was a flat roof and the airconditioning unit plus it smelt of cigarette smoke. Hotel did change room reluctantly after complaint. Shower not working properly and husband asked if i wanted a chip of the bath as a souvenir(already bits chipped off it). There was a fridge. Service was slow , it was quicker for us to go bar ourselves for drinks than wait for table service and head waiter looked...

hotel golden tulip farah
from tripper18
Having booked a holiday to a very different kind of city for myself and my 13 year old daughter I was a little apprehensive but the staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and quiet in a peaceful location, a short taxi ride from the main square and walking distance from the new part of Gueliz. Swimming pool was cold (february) but the sun loungers were great! Pool staff were very kind especially to my daughter. Only downside was the air-con was inefficient - OK in Feb but do check this out if...

A reasonable hotel
from mr990
First a point of clarification - there are 2 Farah hotels in the same road and adjacent to each other in Marrakech... the Kenzi Farah, and the one that we stayed at Golden Tulip Farah (formerly the Siaha) !!!! This fact may account for the huge variations in reviews of Farah hotels in this forum. It is a leisurely 30 minute walk into the Medina from the hotel, but there are loads of taxis and caleches available. We stayed at the GT Farah for 5 nights in January 2007, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The staff were pleasant and...

Big package type hotel.
from bigmacdonald
Typical package hotel, pleasant enough with nice gardens and pool. Rooms average size with reasonable sized bathroom .As lots of package hotels, there were things that didnt work, shower loose and sprayed everywhere, balcony lock broken, i.e. poor maintenance. The worse thing about the hotel was the poor quality buffet,,,,,,,,,cold food, poor variety, surly staff. Hotel about 15 minutes walk to old town in a modern area.Much less hassly than main area!
Would love to go back!

Have just got back from a week stay in this hotel and have only got praise for the staff. We arrived very late at night due to a mix up at the airport and were told on arrival that we could have dinner even at that late hour if we wished. The quality of food in all three restaurants is very good and the pool bar is excellent for snacks. Our room was newly renovated and very clean, the towels were changed everyday and most importantly the air conditioning was a dream. The outings arranged by the hotel were cheaper than...

A fantastic week in Marrakech
from Ele9
Just got back from a two week holidy in Morocco. We stayed in the Farah hotel for the first week and had a wonderful time. We arrived very late at night after a 4hr flight from the UK and a 5 hour drive from Agadir, the staff on reception soon had us checked in and ensured our hunger pains were put to bay by speaking to the kitchen and persuding them to make us some food. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and they offer a range of trips from the hotel. We went to Chez Ali (a typical moroccan feast followed by a wonderful display...

Pleasant stay and an unexpected upgrade
from A TripAdvisor Member
Stayed for a week in June, and on arrival were upgraded to a 2 floor bungalow room in the gardens by the pool. We were not expecting much from the hotel, but have to say we enjoyed our stay - and the Farah really does offer a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Nice pool, surrounded by surprisingly big and well cared for Gardens. Didn't eat at the hotel much as we enjoyed exploring the local restaurants, but what we did eat was average - altthough I would recommend a Tagine in the Moroccan Restaurant onsite.<br...

Good hotel
from Borneovisito
We stayed at Hotel Siaha for one week in Summer 2005. The hotel facilities were good and very clean. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was good and very reasonably priced. We particuarly enjoyed the food in the Morrocan restaurant. The pool area was nice and clean although it got very busy (a good sign though). Service at the pool bar was good and I enjoyed sitting by the pool sipping freshly squeezed orange juice. This was certainly as good base for exploring Marrakesh, taxis from outside the hotel into Marrakesh were very...
