Aguamarina Apartments

Stayed here for a week in early April. The location is fine situated west of the old town but only a 2-3 min walk to the harbour. The apartments have a lovely view over the Harbour and sunbathing on the solarium is reccomended for this. The apt itself is normal size and I must say it was spotless. Add to this the room is made up 3 times while you are there (maids change sheets and tidy whole apt for you). Apartment booked late direct with owners. Basic but everything you need. We had an excellent outlook overlooking the harbour but unfortunately the weather was poor all week. It rained continuously for two days and got quite cold in the unheated accommodation. Couple of problems with electrics both put right quickly by the always cheerful reception. Highly recommend the Mardelva restaurant just a short walk away.

I decided to bring my three daughters (ages 19, 17 and 28) to Lanzarote for a week during Midterm last February because we were planning the wedding of my eldest and the other two were to be bridesmaids - we all needed some uninterrupted planning time....that is what we told their father anyway! Me and my husband stayed christmas week in the augamarina apartments on the 4th floor which i recommend to people if you are booking as you have your own private balcony and sun loungers. The apartments are very clean and spacious. The staff are lovely and understand english and can speak it too!! The apts are over looking the marina in the oldtown which has fabulous views and is only 10/15 mins walk from the newtown strip of Puerto del Carmen and about 2 mins walk to the pubs and resturants in the oldtown so the location is perfect a few... more
