Flamingo Benidorm

Just come back after a five day break to this hotel and cannot wait to go back! Have been to all inclusive many times before but this has to be the best by far and should be a four star as it is so much better than any three we have been to.
Got there about 9.30 in the evening and was checked in straight away, and the room was a surprise as it has a sitting room as well as a bedroom and was spotless throughout with a self adjusting air con, heater switch. It even has a fridge which was a bonus no other hotel ever has when been A.I.
The location was just nice as its near enough if you want to be in the centre of the bars and shops but far enough if you want to relax. It rained most of the Tuesday so they had extra entertainment on. Bingo, quiz etc and no charge at all. The evening entertainment was disco, bingo, comedian and games which did us as it was just a break.
Looking to go back in June now as may is fully booked when we are able to go.

Flamingo Benidorm was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Benidorm. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice. There is a games room, adult and children’s video room which is on every night, The entertainers where very helpful and gave you all there attention as well as the bar workers who where so friendly, you can also book tickets for the theme park terra mitica for cheap. If you do go to Benidorm you should go to the theme park as it is something you will never forget! The rooms in the hotel where very clean and the cleaners came every day. The hotel was amazing and a holiday I will never forget I liked it so much I am convincing my family to go back sometime soon!!!!!

Benidorm was just as we expected, but the hotel was really good. First time all inclusive, definitely would do it again. Hotel really clean, rooms spacious and the food was excellent. Good choice at all meal times. The only down side was the pool area, could really do with another pool for an all inclusive hotel. The hotel had fun and games for all age groups and there was a superb kids club. There was also an outdoor play area for the children. Food and drink was available for most of the day, which once again you couldn’t fault. The one thing about Benidorm is that it is very high rise, our hotel had 27 floors luckily we were only on the 3rd floor

My wife and I have just got back from a 3 night August Bank Holiday break at the Flamingo Hotel Benidorm and I have to say it was interesting to say the least!
We have both travelled extensively but never been tempted by Benidorm before, having heard all the stories of it being tacky and like Blackpool with the sun (it was!!)
I booked flights from Cardiff at a great price through the Thomson website and had a great deal on the hotel from another Internet site. As Benidorm is about 40 minutes from Alicante airport I was worried about the transfers. There is a new airport bus service but this only runs 4 times a day and didn’t suit our timings. Taxis are expensive (about 55 euros each way) and so I booked a transfer with Shuttle Direct which cost me 63 euros return and we were met with a man holding my name on a board in Alicante airport, had our own personal car to the hotel and the same on the return journey - luxury at a reasonable cost and much better start to the holiday than being herded onto a transfer coach by a stressed out, overworked rep!!
Hotel was good, nice pool and friendly staff but the highlight was the food - superb!! Plenty of choice, variety and all nicely presented!
Resort itself had loads of cheap bars and places to eat and plenty of entertainment (make sure you see Tony Scott - absolutely hilarious!!). Didn’t manage to catch the legendary "Sticky Vicky" so have to leave that for our next visit.
Generally a good value for money break. Visit the old town and the Sunday/Wednesday Market (which was only yards from our hotel). Would go back to Benidorm but probably stay a little more central.

Brilliant holiday food was great loads of choice, kids loved it they said it was the best holiday ever going back next year for sure. Cannot complain about one thing in this hotel it was busy but quiet kids were well entertained and you know your kids are safe when they are in there

Fantastic hotel, food very good, staff excellent and cheerful, entertainment brilliant. Will certainly go again this year. Although we had no children with us I would take the grand children next time, they had plenty of time and patience for them. Not very far from the center of the resort and all the bars but there isn’t any need to go out at night, as the artists they bring in are really professional 10/10.

What a fabulous hotel. The food was excellent every day with different choices and plenty of it!! The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Exceptionally clean rooms, maid service every day with clean towels etc.
Evening entertainment for every age was also of a very high standard.
If anybody can find a complaint then they must of had too many sambucas!!
Definitely 10 out of 10 in every way.

A fabulous hotel everything was great, the flight the transfers & the hotel was fabulous we had a1 service all the week. We will definitely return to this hotel. We all had a great holiday. The food was great & plentiful. We were able to eat & drink all day from 8am till 12am if we had wished to. We were also provided with packed lunches on days out.
The room was serviced every day with fresh towels most days. The staff were all on the ball and catered for our every need. The hotel was very clean and the entertainment was a1.

The Flamingo Benidorm is great accommodation, swimming pool was very clean but very cold is April when we were there. The food was amazing lots of choice and very fresh, rooms were clean and maid service was great daily, though the walls were very thin and had some loud people next door. Overall 8/10 for comfort, cleanliness and friendly hotel staff.
