We did a considerable amount of on-line research on Bruges and the accommodation available, before finally choosing The Arundel. This B and B is very centrally situated so that everywhere was within walking distance.

There are two guest rooms, both on the first floor plus a lounge/breakfast room on the second floor which is available for the sole use of the guests at any time. In it you will find a TV (although there are also TV’s in both rooms), a fridge containing bottled water and milk, tea and coffee making facilities and lots of chocolates, courtesy of our friendly and helpful host Marie-Claire.

The bedrooms are of very high standard with a huge bed in each room and an immaculate en-suite with bath and shower. The breakfasts were quite something too. Lots of interesting bread and rolls, eggs, ham, cheese, pate, fruit juice, tea and coffee, and the biggest selection of Danish pastries we'd ever seen for two people. We didn't do them justice!

We were fortunate enough to be traveling with friends so the four of us occupied the two rooms and it felt like a real home from home where we could come and go as we pleased. So, we would recommend this B and B to anyone looking for high standard accommodation at reasonable prices within walking distance of all the sights and sounds of this lovely old town.
