Neuville Elysees Hotel

Stayed at the Hotel du Neuville for 4 nights between July 20th & the 24th 2006, got a excellent rate on Expedia.co.uk 4 nights for the price of 3. Location was very good about a 15mins walk from the top of the Champs Elysees / Arc de Triomphe & about 5mins walk from the Metro Stations of Pereire & Wagram, for anyone who's not been to Paris before use the Metro to get around the city its by far the quickest & cheapest method of transport, i was amazed how easy it was to use. We stayed at this hotel from 21st till 23rd of July 2006. We paid 120 EURO per night; double bedroom; breakfast included. It was the best hotel we ever had in Paris. We asked for a non smooking room. It was a very clean room; spacious enough; a very good breakfast. The receptionists were very friendly. The elevator is indeed extremely small but who cares?? You can go up one by one. No problem. We booked a 4D3N Paris trip through Eurostar during the peak summer season and paid only 126pounds including our stay at Hotel De Neuville. It was a great price considering the rack rate for the hotel alone is 130Euros per night. Get off at Pereire Metro/RER station and try to locate a restaurant called Villa Pereire. On the basis of Tripadvisor reviews I booked this hotel through Eurostar meaning it offered good value. I really liked the Hotel location, which was quieter in a less touristy district. There were plenty of local restaurants and good access to the centre via Metro. The Arc de Triomphe is just 15 mins walk away. Sitting in the nearby Place Marechal Juin was very enjoyable. I do not think I am a particularly fussy customer but I did not rate this hotel as highly as the other reviewers (that said, I am also one of the few to be critical of the Senator Gran Via in Madrid). As long as you accept the fact that you don't any extras or any nice touches with a 3-star hotel, then you will be perfectly happy with this choice. My boyfriend took me here for a weekend break. It was a nice hotel, simple decor with clean rooms, helpful staff & good location, although quite a walk from the Louvre however very near a metro station. Would definately stay here again.

What a great hotel! Just 15 minutes walk from the Arc De Triomph and 5 minutes from a metro station. Thank god we had the sense to ask at Charles De Gaulle about the metro!
