We booked this hotel as a special holiday, both celebrating 21st birthdays. Our room was as far away from the main hotel as you could get, along with two other english couples, down some dark and dirty stairs. The hotel staff were rude right from the word go,we were told our bags would be brought to the room, when the hadnt arrived 15mins later we went to investigate and found a hotel porter kicking our bag.
Meals were disgusting and we ate out instead, breakfast was nothing more than luke warm coffee and stale cake. Our room was filthy and had no sea view which was promised in the brochure. We complained to the rep, who did nothing, we complained to the hotel staff who were just rude. Another couple managed to get a room in the new part of the hotel which looked very nice but the hot water didnt work!
We wrote to First choice on our return they were no help.
Having been to Lake Garda before there are some lovely hotels to visit even with lower star rating than this one, with lovely food and simple clean rooms. Best avoid this hotel

Excellent hotel and food was terrific. The views from every room (including the bars and restaurants) are spectacular. If you expecting fish and chips for evening meals you will be disappointed as you will be served tasty Italian dishes. It’s a hard walk from Limone but a mini bus is laid on every hour (if the bus is full the driver will come back for you - if you ask him to).) are spectacular

We have just spent a wonderful week at Limone on Lake Garda. The hotel was very friendly, good typical Italian food (3 course waiter service dinner), rooms basic but clean with daily change of towels. Best feature was super views over lake Garda. There was plenty to do with trips to Venice, Verona and Dolamites inter alia available and plenty of boat taxi’s to explore other towns on the Lake. Excellent value for money and very well organised by Page and Moy and their reps.

We have just returned from two weeks at the Limonaia Hotel and must say we had a great time. The hotel is built into the side of the mountain with some realy spectacular views from almost every part of the hotel and the grounds, the rooms are spread out and some can be a long way up from reception and the resturant but after all you are on a mountain.
The food was very nice and plenty of it breakfast could be a little bit bland but still plenty of choice.
The few staff that we did have contact with were very pleasant and helpful, the resturant staff were fantastic and were always happy to help.
Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels were supplied although they are not the biggest of towels.
There is a small shop on site which is only open for two hours each day so buy some drinks from there which will save you money, the bar will give you ice if you require
some.
I would not recomend this hotel for anyone with walking difficulties but other than that it was a great place to stay and will deffinatley return one day.
