What fantastic old beautiful hotel! I was not really expecting to find such a palace in the middle of the plain white Alentejo.
The building is an old convent, later transformed in a palace and starting as an hotel in 1900. One of the oldest hotels I have been.
Rooms needing refurbishment but nice and comfortable. Superb cleanliness. Good breakfast. The room is fantastic. Nice surroundings.
Very nice restaurant nearby.
Personal very helpful and always trying to make our stay comfortable.

The building, an old convent transformed in a palace is fantastic. I would never expect to find such pearl in the middle of nowhere. The personnel is so nice to you, that it seems you are with yours, in family. Of course, the hotel is old and need some refurbishment.
