Submitted By: claire6480Our room A318 was great very clean everything you would want overlooking the pool good balcony and furnishings. Maid in 5 times a week and towels and linen changed once in our 1 week of being there.
pools were excellent, our little girl 3year old loved the baby pool where she could play all day on her own as it was only up to her knees.
Entertainment was excellent the reps worked really hard and were very cheery happy people especially Sarah and Scott
To sum it up a very enjoyable holiday for the money we only pais £700 would go back

Submitted By: lmthompsonYou are a 10-20 minute walk from the bowling centre or from the main resort and harbour. There are plenty of really good restaurants and bars to chose from. 5th Avenue Restaurant stood out for me, but it is up a wee street on the left handside opposite Flicks (another recommended place). Lots of pubs and clubs to chose from. I do not recommend El Toro Bravo at the Atlantico Centre, the service was crap and uses plastic tables and chairs, this must be a no-no, considering all the other steak restaurants. Just remember to take plenty of money. You do get hassled to go into restaurants but if you say you have already eaten or no thanks they are very pleasant. This resort seems new and is really clean.
Oh, and by the way, the great weather is not guaranteed here, as I thought. We had very cloudy weather with almost gale force winds and rain but when the sun did come out, it was extremely hot!
Definitely recommend it to all ages.

Submitted By: Mr D BrooksHappy Children makes Happy Parents and that is exactly what we had our 2 yr old loved the Entertainment Scott,Sarah,Mark all tremendous fun and very professional in what they do from start to finish , the shows were 2nd to none he loved shades the shark and dizzy the dolphin we are still hearing about them now (Groovy Baby) outside of the complex be careful where you dine (some places put reserved seats and tables at the front so you think its poppular then after a while they take the reserved stickers off eg Chablis) be careful stick to the harbour and the plaza for value. Recommend The Beach for the Dunes grab a taxi and a boogie board for the Waves, Will Definately go back Cheers Thomas Cook

Apartments needs refurbishing (biggest problems being the electrics (some plugs hang off the walls), the fact that the sheets aren't changed (unless you're staying 2 weeks), and safety (they can be easily broken into)).
Food is horrible; dine out (incidently I reccomend a food court in the town called Plaza, which has an excellent Indian, Italian, Mexican, Steak house and Slow Boat).
There are 3 large pools, which are sal****er, which I personally didn't mind too much about. What I did mind however was that they were never cleaned - I noticed floating fag buts, flies, wasps, plasters etc, not to mention alot of sun cream accumulating in areas.
One positive I can draw from Oasis Dunas is the Thomas Cook reps. Really entertaining for the kids, and night time entertainment was generally very good. Mark (don't know second name) in particular was very amusing.

Submitted By: Miss A JonesThe apartments were great, they were basic, but were clean. The maids cleaned the room at least 4 times a week and were very good, towels were never in short supply!
The reception staff were very very helpful and welcoming. The supermarket at the complex was quite pricey but there is a netto near by which is slightly cheaper.
The food on the half board basis was excellent, with a 7 year old there was plenty for her to chose from. The food was hot and not too repetitive ( I saw lots of people going for 2nds - so couldn't have been bad !). The waiters and waitresses were lovely.
The entertainment was excellent and full marks go to Mark and Scott who entertained the children with childrens disco's and games, to waterpolo quizzes etc in the day ! Adult entertainment varied from bingo to shows ! Well done Mark and Scott for keeping the children and adults entertained you guys must be exhausted !
The excursions were the only down fall, I personally found them very expensive also be aware of the 'tanning advisor' she will try to sell you some sun cream etc but they are nearly 43 euros for one bottle !
The town was excellent for tourists, try to go to the beach near the sand dunes, the beach in Corrajelo was not the cleanest ! Lots of cigarette ends, and rubbish.

Submitted By: Mrs J LamThe entertainments reps, Mark, Scott and Sarah (Stevie disappeared after the end of the first week and was never spoken about afterwards!!!) were all fantastic and you cannot fault them for effort. A special thank you to Sarah for putting up with my daughter being constantly at her side whenever she was on site. Having said that I found the two Thomas Cook reps Holly and Gill very unhelpful, Holly looked like a deer caught in the headlights and couldnt make eye contact with anyone whilst Gill was disinterested and came over a bit too cocky for my liking!
The pools were alright but didnt seem to be cleaned every day, the middle one had to be shut for a day as it was 'unhealthy' and one day my husband had to get the net to clean the pool himself cos there were lots of bits floating in it. Sitting by the pool was fine as long as you are prepared to get up at 5.30 to get a sunlounger (it's not like this if you go outside the summer holidays), you just get a bit fed up with the suncare advisor trying to sell her products and everyone only listens to her as she lets you know the temperature.
The pool bar and sports bar are both value for money and all staff are very friendly especially if you buy them a drink as once you do you will probably end up with free shots every time they serve you till you go home.
Went to Oliva Beach near the Riu hotels which only costs between 4-5 euros to get to in the taxi and is absolutely beautiful - just make sure you dont go too far out otherwise the tide may pull you out!!
Went to the waterpark but thought it was too expensive. Went with another family with a 4 year old who was told she was too tall to play in the kids pool! and was then not tall enough to go on some of the other stuff so why did we have to pay for her to go in when she couldnt do anything. if anyone is going in for the wave pool be warned they only turn it on each day at 3pm for 15 minutes and that's your lot!!
There are lots of restauants to go in the main part of Corralejo, we ate at the plaza steak house quite alot which seemed good value for money but i know from previous visits there are lots of lovely restaurants down by the harbour all serving good food at reasonable prices. The paella in anyone of them will definitely be worth a try.
I would highly recommend Oasis Dunas and the resort of Corralejo for any families.

Submitted By: Mrs V StruthersThe town of Correlejo is a bit Blackpooly and they are out to fleece the tourists at every turn. Personally I thought it was expensive, but I havn't been to Europe for a while so that may be normal nowadays. The staff in the Netto supermarkets are very rude and a lot of shop staff are the same, barely looking the road you are on. However, seeing how some tourists speak to them, I guess they are tarring everyone with the same brush. Restuarants are very much the same - don't get me started on Kids meals - pizza, chicken nuggets or burgers are the staple on the menu! The Waikiki on the beach was the best we found - service not great, but food excellent.
Sand dunes are worth a visit to get away from the crowds (just watch out for the nudists!), as is the waterpark and the zoo, however, go off your own back to the zoo if possible. We were run round the park by the rep and barely had time to see an animal, never mind watch them! Really regret not hiring a car and seeing some of the authentic island - craved a bit of culture! We were misled in that we were a late booking and asked for somewhere which wasnt Brits abroad and unfortunately this is what it is. We usually go places where there is lots to see and do so was a bit frustrated and bored after a while, also definitely go elsewhere if you want authenticitiy and tradition, otherwise if you want to lie by the pool and sun yourself then this is a great place - just be up very early to reserve the sunloungers (REALLY annoying!!!!), otherwise you will be watching a towel sunning itself until 2pm while you are sitting on the sweaty plastic furniture!! The climate was the best bit - the wind keeps the temperature bearable and you come home with a nice tan.

Submitted By: Miss C StewartThe pools are lovely they are salt water and cold when you first get in but once in they are fine, our son loved the pool and was in it most of the day ,the pool side bar is nice well my partner liked it i wasnt so keen but i am fussy, the only really annoying think is the woman trying to seel her sun cream everyday we did buy it on our 3rd day but she sold us the wrong 1 and we ended up burnt,i would advise anyone not to listen to her as their was about 4-5 familys complaining about her, selling us the wrong factor. The pool side entertainment during the day is great we did join in alot the reps were great.
The eveing entertainment was great too the kids disco at 8 our little 1 loved joining in after that it was bingo and adult stuff which was good the eveing shows had alot of effort put into them the reps did a great job,we went to the hotel entertainment every night, everyone we meet their were lovely all in all we had a great holiday.
Our little 1 loved the kids club/ creche again the reps were really good.
#We would definetly go back again next year.
We ate out a few times the best place bein the Indian Taj in the plaza it was lovely and the Stake House which is on the street if you go right at Poco Loco.
