My husband and I, in our late fifties, stayed at the Alta Galdana for one week in July. It had been seven years since we had been abroad and were a little apprehensive. Should not have worried at all.
The Alta is basic but has a really good atmosphere and is so near to the beach, it is brilliant. Very friendly staff and restaurant onsite is good. We did a lot of self catering and the shop at the Flora Mar up the hill is brilliant and well stocked.
Cala Galdana is perfect and we will be going again this year. Alta Galdana is basic but you learn to adapt very quickly and you are on holiday and we got a good late deal with no extra supplements added.
Good walk along the coast to the right to the next bay.
