We arrived in the early hours, went to our lovely room. We had a sea view with 2 balconies of the main bedroom, and a small balcony of the childrens room. Very spacious and modern. Room was always cleaned well and mini bar topped up daily. In the restaurant you did have to... more

This hotel is very good overall, some called it Fantastic, I think this is relivent to what you have stayed in before, and what room you are allocated, I know of equally good hotels with more comfortable rooms and bigger balconies. Our first room was near the entrance to... more

We had a brilliant holiday - we cannot fault the hotel, staff, entertainment or friendliness of the whole place. Would thoroughily recommend La Blanche. We are going back again this year! It was nice that there were lots of different nationalities.

Beautiful hotel located just a short distance from town; however, there are very few British holidaymakers here as it is mostly advertised to the Germans, Dutch and Eastern Europeans so we felt extremely isolated here. The staff try their best to understand what you are... more

not sooo marvellous as they say..
Influenced by the great reviews and descriptions with photos everywhere, we chose this hotel for our "summer" holiday. We booked 12 days in the beginning of September. Pros: the rooms are very big and confortable, the hotel is nice, the swimming pool is gorgeous. They provide great animations and there's a super children "section" as well, with aquapark. For us the location was also perfect, the hotel's sandy beach is really nice, they have enough sunbeds as well ;-) The wellness center is really nice, they have good masseurs. The center itself very nicely done. Cons: the food is very boring. They have a quite wide variety, but always the same, everyday. For veggies is great, because they hardly provided meat (neither fish). The salads were quite disappointing, because for me the fussili with a huge amount of ketchup or sour cream doesn't consider as a salad. The fresh lettuce was only OK. The breakfast slow, only one guy preparing eggs, huge queue of course. Lots of tourist were complaining about the monotone food (every day the same choice) btw. The service is even worst. In the restaurant we met only three or max. four helpful and professional waiters, the rest tried to avoid eyecontact, in order not to serve you. IN a lot of cases the tables were full with broken meat and used plates. The pool bar's tables, where you could have snacks during the day were always incredible filthy. They didn't clean the tables at all, they were always sticky because of snacks and fruits, and it's better not to talk about the floor. I was cross to see how they neglect such a great hotels. The floor around the swimming pool was moped only once in two weeks, however the guest always bring their food and drink there. That was also sticky thanks to beverages... So, however there are lots pros as well (nice rooms, great swimming pool, wellness center, animation), thanks to the boring food and bad service, we decided to looking for an other place next year and don't go back there.
Fab Hotel
The hotel was great...i have no complaints. The pool is huge and there was never anyone in it, the room was very big too. The food was lovely, there was so much to choose from...you will never go hungry!!! make sure you join in with the club dance...its fun!!! Great location, good food and just a generally very nice place to go. The staff were very helpful and the chinese al la carte was absolutely grorgeous. Would definietly recommend it.
Let down by the terrible service
This is a nice hotel with good rooms, decent food menu and a good pool. The location is not good if you want to visit bodrum as the hotel has no shuttle service other than on Tuesday and it costs approximately 60 Lira one way to Bodrum. The stay is let down by poor quality staff service especially the front desk and room service. You literally have to ask 4-5 times before anything gets done. There are three restaurants which guests can book during the stay but this can prove to be difficult as the places are few and bookings can only be made on the day at 10am. The shop in the hotel is prohibitively expensive and so is the medical services of the doctor. Overall, given the choice of other hotels would not stay again due to the location and the poor quality of service.
/Fabulous, fabulous hotel and staff
Have travelled considerably for quite a number of years, including All Inclusive Hotels in several Caribbean Islands, I rate this Hotel FABULOUS . Our two week stay was only spoiled by the arrival of the Turkish students to celebrate YoungePeoples weekend on 19 May. In fact it was quite an invasion, by what we were told was 250 University Students. Thank goodness they were only there for 3days! Management were totally overwhelmed and very apologetic to us and said that it will never happen again. It seemed to affect some folks more than us....we took our usual sunloungers on the beautiful getty area during the day and managed with a little patience at mealtimes and the bars to still get good service. This is a lovely hotel, with staff that are friendly and trying their best to help. Hotel, rooms, pool areas etc. all keps extremely clean. Plenty of shades and loungers etc. Great selection of food of all kinds. Spa facilities are excellent and would recommend ALL LADIES to spoil themselves...ask for Nina and tell her that her Irish Lady sent you.....start with the Turkish Foam and Scrub to help get your tan started!!! My other recommendation is Guest Relations Rep Macbule.....she is lovely girl and so helpful to book al la carte or if you have any problems....she will fix it if it can be fixed! We took overnight trip to Pamukkale....very long to get there, but well worth it. Would not recommend trip for children. If you get there, ENJOY!!!!
great hotel , terrible guests
we have just returned from a week in la blanche , the hotel was all that it promised , very clean , lovely rooms wonderful views huge main pool , the slide pool was a slight problem as the water only came to your knees , so it was rather a hard landing .staff were quite friendly , the beach was very clean and you could go out 10ft and still be up to your knees so lovely for the kids, ice cream was available for one hour at 5pm and the queue was very long , the food was ok , no kids menu ,chips only twice during the week and no toaster at breakfast , the waiters had not even heard of such a thing and looked at me with amazement when i told them that the british liked toasted bread for breakfast !the eggs were fried fresh (more long queues )while you waited , no beans or bacon and hot dogs instead of sausages ,a good selection of pastries ,salad and cold meat , some cereal but the kids wouldnt eat it so i dont think it was up to much , coffee and squash were available all day , there was a good selection of alcohol , cocktails were all inclusive as were some liquers such as amerreto and baileys ,the massages were lovely , we were just a bit shocked to find that they were done by young men in a communal room with everyone watching you half naked and many europeans stripped off totally naked so you didnt know where to look !most of us british are not used to baring all in public ,the village was quite small but the saturday market was good fun , i cant comment on the entertainment as it didnt start until 10pm and the kids had had enough by then ,the only problem we had was that on the thursay the hotel was over run by a group of turkish university students , depending on which member iof staff we asked there were between 250 and 500 of them and they ran riot ,they threw each other in the pool fully clothed bombed off of the planters , the bridges that spanned the pool , climbed the palm treesran up the slides the wrong way , took over the snack bar and the main bar . stood 4 or 5 deep sinking vodka shots and would not let anyone through it got really rowdy , they started insulting all the guests then threw the animation team in the pool and set up a rave around the pool , the music was all in turkish as was the dj , it was deafening , everyone with children retreated to their rooms others sat in the lobby watching in disbelief management seemed powerless to stop them , they took trays of drinks and a stereo to the indoor pool and had a party in there , we sat on our balcony looking at all the other families sat on theirs watching and taking pictures , this went on all day and they ran up and down the stairs and corridors until 6am the following morning then by 10am it all started again , all guest entertainment had to be cancelled and this went on until sunday , there were queues to see the reps every morning british ,german and dutch , some people checked out but no one seemed to be able to get the managent to do anything the turkish guest relations lady said these were hard working students who were as intitled to their break as everyone else , except that no one else was getting one , even the staff were up in arms a couple of them were assaulted and the female animation had to have bodygaurds , our poor first choice rep try to break up one of the raves and had to be rescued by another member of staff , she said they were too drunk to be reasoned with , we were told that this was something they often did for their students around turkish bank holidays , well i wish someone had told me this before i booked so beware when you book that there is not one coming up ,, as the spa manager said , they maybe my people but they are animals ,
student union bar
stayed at la blanche for a week with my hubby & 2 friends. the first 3 days were heaven. lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, excellent pool and good food. on the 4th day 550 turkish uni students arrived and stayed for the remainder of our stay. and the hotel was thrown into chaos. full volume rave music all day every day. very little service in the restaurants, no seats in the bars. the staff were overworked, understaffed and unable to cope with the problems they caused. kids couldn't use the pool or the water slides. all night parties in some of the corridors. and any complaints to the security staff were swept under the carpet due to the sheer volume of the group involved. not what i'd have expected from a quality hotel. if the uni students were a one off, it's a great place to stay, otherwise forget it.
A great hotel
Just got back after 4 great nights at the La Blanche hotel. As soon as we arrived at the hotel and walked into the reception area, which overlooked the very large swimming pool we knew we would have a great stay here. The bedrooms were so large as the door opened onto a lounge area, which lead onto a spacious bedroom. Both the lounge and bedoom have their own tv and fridge. We've never seen a hotel room with so many wardrobes before. As the hotel was so new everything was so clean. We found the choice of food was good as everyday at lunch and dinner the choice was always different. There was always a chef grilling salmon, chicken or steak. The selection should cover everyones taste as the choices included international and Turkish cuisines. The hotel also offered a choice of A'la Restaurants which included Turkish, Seafood and Chinese. These needed to be booked in advance due to the popularity. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly and couldnt do enough for you. For a great hotel in this area dont look no further. Book this hotel and have a great holiday like us.
fantastic pool
Only stayed here for 3 nights almost at end of season, but what a fantastic swimming pool--biggest I have ever seen in my travels all over Turkey or Europe, or else where! Great waterslides into smaller kids pool, plus a babies pool also. Even in October weather was ok for swimming! Rooms great--like a suite really, with good bathrooms--very new & clean. Very popular with Dutch, Germans Belgians, Russians--not many Brits this year as so new. Beer/ local drinks etc free--wine a bit dodgy--but wouldnt want to be there in mid-summer as the food in buffet restaurant not brilliant, and I'd give the gala evening a miss if you cant get there dead on opening time--our meal was served cold, then came back still cold after we complained(nicely!!) Then we got a hot plate with a totally different meal on it--vile--looked like chef just made it up out of left overs from other meals!! Still--good restaurants nearby in village --la Villa great fish, and clay pot meals==not too expensive!! taxi is approx £2 or 20 mins walk. All in all --great--but food lets it down.
nice new hotel
nice new hotel but all staff dont speak much english a big great pool and kid pool with 3 slide a lot sunbed everywhere and at beach too 3 restaurant but need to book in advance every morning from 10.30am main restaurant serve a lot of lamb and green salad evening show entertainmemt are poor not like next door Aegean Dream Hotel (we had a chance to eat and see their show because my sister famliy staying next door) finally water there are very soft and after 1 week my skin feel lovely
nice hotel
brand new hotel only opened about six weeks not many british there, 3 on site a la carte restaurants and about 5 bars one open 24 hours, biggest problem is having to queue for everything and the main restaurant is a fight for food as everyone just pushes in front.they havent quite got it 100% yet and you can see where they have rushed to finish the surroundings and fittings.the music around the pool will not suit everyone especially those with kids as many songs contain swearing, the chefs cook almost everything to order and you end up waiting a long time.the main pool is massive and waterslides are available in a seperate pool at the rear of the hotel.you really need to give this hotel a miss this year until they get them selves sorted the week we were there only 3 english families were there, lots of russians and turks, entertainment is very poor also not geared at all to the english.
