My friend and i booked a last minute break to this particular hotel on reading other reviews we thought ok its sounds reasonable enough for what we paid . On arrival everyone was friendly enough very pleasant and helpful towards me and my friend i'd been to marmaris before but my friend hadn't so obviously next morning we got up and went out when we returned we were ignored basically even when we did stay and have a drink or meal conversation was minimal from the staff . The room was very basic not very clean bathroom was deplorable and to top it all i had had my money stole which was locked inside my case and i had the key !! when i went to see steve the owner of the hotel he just shrugged his shoulders no response what so ever , my friend came back early one evening not feeling to well only to be groped by one of the male guests who was Turkish in the corridor , The atmosphere was so bad between us and the staff we paid our bill and moved to another hotel for the last 3 days of our holiday ... basically if you weren't married to 1 of the staff or had a Turkish boyfriend or had a child to a Turkish man you just weren't made welcome cause every young girl/ woman in that hotel had 1 of the above . I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any young girls traveling without a male partner to stay at swans ... ruined the first few days of our holiday

just got back from turkey stayed at swans1,well what a holiday it was absolutely brilliant,hotel is basic but clean,, rooms are clean, towels changed daily.and food is great,staff are wonderfull they made our holiday there was 8 of us and had the time of our lives there,a BIG THANKS to ahmet ,muratt,ricky,apo,and chef! we are staying in touch and definately booking to go next year,loved it THANKS GUYS X X

We have stayed at Marmaris before so was really looking forward to a return trip. On arrival at the hotel everything seemed ok, then Steve (the owner)began to reel off the hotel policys about food and drink etc. After his speech we thought maybe the holiday company had booked us into a concentration camp rather than a hotel. We were shown our room which was basic to say the least, we had taken our 21 year old daughter so had booked a family room meant for 4 people but the room was so small we may as well have all been in the same bed!! The room was dirty and not well maintained and the bathroom was even worse, we joked saying you could do the toilet, clean your teeth and shower all at the same time, we had one drawer and a tiny built in wardrobe so we had to live out of our cases. We had one meal there which was edible but not as great as Steve had suggested and the barman who attended to us was rude and arragant, needless to say we never ate there again. Steve spoke to us on a few occasions but for the most part we were ignored. There was no entertainment which had been stated there was, the beach was much further than 250meters as had been specified. We left the hotel at a time when all the staff were there and not one of them said goodbye or thanks. not to forget one very important fact about the hotel but the wall around the balcony was so low any child staying there could easily have fallen over onto the ground below. Anyone thinking of going to Marmaris, do not book this hotel as your experience of the resort would be spoilt.
