Just back from Hotel Peymar. Lovely location right on the beach, so you can come back for drinks and toilet all day.
However, hotel is German so expect lots and lots of Germans and other Eastern bloc holiday makers.
Room was terrible when we got there; plaster falling off walls, no balcony, on first floor overlooking supermarket at rear of hotel, window covered in iron railing, really bad.
Complained at reception and were able to be moved but had to pay extra 115 Euros. We then had better room overlooking pool, but very angry we had to pay extra.
Food not that good. Lettuce, tomato and onions with everything, plus either pasta, potato or some sort of salad. Meat offered rabbit, chicken, veal, and pork on different days. Vegetables very bland, brussel sprouts with everything and cauliflower in batter!!!
Not much fresh fruit offered everything out of tin - tinned fruit salad, tinned peaches and pears or dried fruit straight from packets. Lots of green jelly too.
Breakfast was cereal and then ham or cheese and boiled eggs. Free drink was ok - tea and coffee not too good.
Staff were very unfriendly with the exception of one or two. Not many English people so we spent the whole holiday without talking to anyone.
Entertainment two nights a week which made a change, otherwise we just sat in the bar and read every night! All in all a 3 star hotel - which was what we would have rated it at. It was clean and food not too bad. We stayed for 10 days - too long, a week would have been enough. S'Illot a nice little resort, very quiet, nice beach, lots of seaweed in sea.
However, nice little walk to Sa Coma in the evening, nice shops there too.
