Comments:  Me and my 5 year old had a great time. Could not fault it. The one point that i found amusing was when ordering a drink from the head bar waiter in the dining room in my best newly learnt spainish i asked for a bottle of Rioja, expecting a pleasing spainish reply was met with ' you want red or white?' iI guess its just saves time to do everything in english.! The room we had had nice views to the bay 6th floor. Good facilites for kids of all ages . No need to get up early to get front line seating at the beach , as you do to get near the hotel pool. Go to the brach first , then about 5ish you can then get a bed by the pool if needs must. Would recomend this hotel and resort to everyone.

Comments:  This holiday was booked at short notice with no knowledge of the hotel or resort, other than the person behind my wife saying we have been there before and had a really nice time, hotel staff were very friendly, hotel was great for a 3 star hotel I've stayed in a few 3 star hotels and some of them don't even come close, as for the resort - the hotel is riight on the beach we are talking 1 - 2 mins walk and you are right at the heart of the shops and restaurants. Port de Pollensa is a quiet resort for a chilled holiday so those looking for night clubs and late night drinking (2am and later) not for you, however ther are plenty of british bars, serving food and showing SKY Sports. So we booked up and off we went - well fantastic! 10 out of 10 and we will be going back!!

Comments:  I have to agree with previous comments. Lovely hotel, friendly, efficient and helpful staff, good food, clean rooms. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

We had a room that faced away from the pool toward a couple of karioke bars. Not much of a view but we didn't spend any time there so it didn't matter. I thought the noise would be a problem, but it wasn't and by 11:30 at night everything was either quiet or winding down.

The pool is well maintained. There are plenty of sun-loungers but be ready at 9:00am to get the best ones with a brolly when the pool area opens. The bar by the pool provides good refreshments. I was worried it might be a bit expensive so I tried buying from a local shop. The savings were not worth the effort, use the hotel facilities.

Food is typically very good. Some days the choice (for us) was limited and others there was too much choice. Staff are always eager to clear up while you are eating which can be disconcerting, but we never felt pressured to 'eat-up and get out'.

My only complaint is the resort is very quiet! There is nothing much to do at night, not even many shops to amble round. The hotel put on evening entertainment from 10:00 which ranges from ok to naff but it's usually a good laugh.

One thing I'm glad I did was to get a credit card style travellers cheque thing (Visa Electron) rather than old fashioned paper travellers cheques. The hotel has an ATM in the lobby so getting cash was dead easy.

Comments:  This was our second visit to this hotel, and we would definitely go again! The hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly and the entertainment is great for families. As a single parent, I felt very comfortable , if you want to just sit and read a book there's no hassle, or if you want to talk to people then everyone was very friendly.
We had a room overlooking the pool, which was really big with 3 beds although there were only 2 of us. Beware the wind on the balconies - this is the second time we have lost a towel over the side, however the staff were quite happy to retrieve them!
We travelled with First Choice, who were really good and the reps were very informative and there every day if you needed them. Take the 'Orange Blossom' tour which goes up into the mountains, the scenery is beautiful and the tour guide Celia was hilarious.
You definitely need to be up early to get a bed by the pool, but we prefer the beach which is about 2 minutes away. It's clean, not overcrowded and the water is beautiful. We had a fantastic holiday, and will hopefully return both to the resort and the hotel.

Comments:  Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a week staying at Pollensa Park. I can honestly say that we both had a fantastic time and were very impressed with the hotel. The room was extremely clean with a balcony overlooking the resort, and the maids came every day without fail with clean towels etc. The food served varied each day which gave choice and variety. The staff within the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The evening entertainment was at times a little to be desired, however it was just nice to sit and listen with a drink or two regardless. There were many activities for both children and adults to take part in during the day, catering for a range of interests.
The resort itself was very relaxed and quiet. This was perfect for us because all we wanted to do was lie in the sun all day and take a stroll in the evening. I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large nightlife though - go elsewhere.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday and didnt want to come home! We would definately go back again.

Comments:  Booked last minute for this holiday for a week for myself, partner and young infant. Half-board wouldn't have been our preferred choice but it turned out to be much better than expected.

The hotel was well worth its three star rating with excellent staff and facilities. There were a lot of families staying at the hotel and this made the restaurant noisy at times but this was more than compensated for by the superb choice and quality of the food available.

The resort can be quiet with not much to do in the evenings but we were entertained by the shows and music in an evening at the hotel.

I would definitely recommend a stay here and would return again without hesitation. Do make sure you ask for a high floor and pool view as the view was stunning out across the bay.

Comments:  Having recently returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel I thought I would add my comments to the site. For a 3* it was very good indeed - the food was superb with plenty of choice and if you had to queue it was never more than five minutes.

The pool area is great for everyone, both during the day and evening. Yes, you had to be alert to get a sunbed at 9am but who wants to saty in bed when you're on holiday?

The resort itself is fabulous - beach and general area can't be faulted. I would definately recomend both the hotel and Puerto Pollensa to anyone.

Comments:  My wife and I had stayed at different resorts on Mallorca over the years but have always returned many times to Puerto Pollensa. I think this is the best part of the island followed by closely by Sa Coma. For our latest trip to Puerto Pollensa in early July we stayed at the Pollensa Park hotel on a half board basis, this was booked though Cosmos/Monarch holidays. I had booked a week as a late deal but when we arrived were presently surprise at the hotel and we ended up on the top floor (room 811), overlooking Puerto Pollensa bay and the harbour in the near distance. I can honestly say that this was the best hotel we've stayed at in the resort and considering its only classed as a 3 star.

The restaurant was well run and although we did have to queue on occasion for breakfast and evening meal, the queues moved quickly and we maybe had to wait for 5 minutes or so. The food was exceptional and some evenings were theme nights with extra Mallorcan food set out near the buffet bar. One evening was different cheeses, another was local meats (suckling pig) and pies but my favourite theme night was when the famous seafood Paella was on the menu. There was always a good variety of food to suit all tastes for the evening dinner with 2 different types of fish included. Anyone who didn't enjoy the food I would consider to be very hard to please. The staff in the hotel were always courteous, pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and fresh, replacement towels were always left by the maid srvice if you placed the used ones in the bath, bed linen was changed twice during the week The air conditioning was a godsend and could be set to your own requirements, particularly good of a night when the outside temperature is still hot.

There were some very good acts on during the weeks entertainment but you have to be down early on the outside terrace to get a table and chairs.

The walk down to the harbour takes only 10 - 15 minutes and is needed to walk off the evening meal. There's plenty of restaurant /bars down there to have a relaxing drink and watch the world pass by. The restaurants in the square are very lively and during the week we were there, the local people were celebrating one of their Festivals. A stage had been set up in the square and we sat and listened to singers performing a tribute to Ol blue eyes Frank Sinatra. Its a pity we went from a Saturday to a Saturday because there was going to be a huge firework display on the Sunday as part of the Festival.

The local bus service is literally just around the corner on the main Promenade road and we took the bus to Pollensa town to climb the 365 steps at Calavari, there's a small chapel at the top and cafe for refreshments (no loos!) the fare is a couple of euros. Its also worth the 1 hour bus journey to Palma (about 11 euros each for return journey)and have a look at the Cathedral. My wife used to work for C&A before they shut the UK department stores in 2000 but the european ones are still open and there's one in Palma. All in all we really enjoyed our week at the Pollensa Park hotel and I would recommend it to anyone

Comments:  I have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay in the Pollensa Park Hotel. This hotel is only 3 star but the hotel is far superior to the star rating. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels provided whenever we requested them. The air conditioning worked and was not noisy

The food was excellent we never had to queue and was always spoilt for choice every evening.

The pool is huge we never used this facility as we prefer the beach but the pool looked clean and well maintained, amble sunbeds and umbrellas.

The staff was friendly and very helpful.

We had this hotel recommended to us and we were not disappointed at all, We would recommend anyone who is looking for a totally stress free relaxing holiday to stay at this hotel.
