I just got back from Pollensa Park hotel, after reading these reviews I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. But its fantastic. Suitable for all ages.
The hotel is really clean and it isn’t dated at all, I don’t know if they have recently refurbished.
It's really close to the beach the beach is beautiful puerto Pollensa is gorgeous. its a short bus journey to Alcudia the old town and port Alcudia that also has a lovely beach and is a bit livelier.
It about 1 euro 20 on the bus but they stop running about 9pm but you can get a taxi that’s about 12 Euros I think.
There is also night and day entertainment at the hotel, if you are thinking of staying by the pool you have to wait by the door at 9 and fight to get a sunbed, its crazy. But the hotel and reps offer loads of trips and its easy to get around by yourself with the buses and walking.
The main town is just a short 10 minute walk along the beach. its such a lovely place.
one thing the bar staff seem a bit moody buts its properly due to the hours they work.
The food isn’t brilliant, buts its not to bad. Ate out a couple of times when we were out for the day.
I’m going next year definitely can’t wait.

I have put 1 review on here about the Pollensa Park hotel already about when I went on the 12th June last year for my fourth time.
I have just got back from the hotel from my fifth time at the hotel and it was as good as ever.
I cannot go back next year but we will be going back in 2 years time. The food isn’t amazing but everything else is.
The staff are brill and so is everything. I have been to Australia Florida Thailand Las Vegas Singapore Italy France and none as good as this
I love and adore this wonderful magnificent hotel...thank you Pollensa!!

I arrived on the 12th of June last year for my 4th time at the Pollensa Park Hotel.
I was there for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every time I have been to the Pollensa Park Hotel it has been just as good.
I would recommend it to the older and younger members of the family. Kids are entertained all through the day with activities from the hotel reps.
I am booked again to go on the 12th of June this year for my fifth time and I can't wait!
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and the restaurant offers a wide choice of food.
The pool area is excellent; the pool bar is just as good. Puerto Pollensa is a fabulous resort, it is quiet and unspoilt. The Pine walk area is beautiful.

I am adding this report as I cannot believe some of the comments people have made. The hotel and resort offer everything we wanted from a holiday and we will return this year. I am particularly fussy about cleanliness and this hotel is second to none.
The entertainment is like any other hotel, middle of the road entertainers that actually seem really good when you are in the holiday spirit. The food selection is brilliant, however if you stay for 2 weeks, you get the repeat menu from the week before. The resort is pretty, clean and safe. Pine walk is beautiful.
The mountains with their hair pin bends are worth a journey as is the close medieval town of pollensa. Alcudia is worth a visit but it is no where as pretty as pourto pollensa. Our resort had lots of nice shops, restaurants, cafes etc. in the evening there are street stalls and a lovely atmosphere. A walk around the marina to see how the other half live is worth visit.
A few people have called this hotel dated. I would say that the reception area is a little dated, however most bedrooms have been refurbished to a very high standard and the restaurant and lounge areas are all modern. The only downfall is the karaoke bar across the road which has to finish at 12 or the police are called. So take earplugs just in case your room is on this side of the hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

My friend and I stayed at the Pollensa Park Hotel for 1 week after 1 week cruising and it was quite a downer!
The restaurant can only be described as a canteen, with staff looking so stressed that I’m afraid it could be felt by the hotel guests and it made us feel that we had to hurry our meals!
I have never had to queue to get into a hotel restaurant ever, but we had to at this hotel and I have been all over the world!
Some nights most of the empty dishes had been taken from the Buffet table so there wasn’t much choice unless you were there first! So some nights we had to eat again later as we were still hungry.
The room was ok but looked in need of a touch of paint!
The pool and area around was excellent. The "entertainment" on 2 of the nights was just ok!
Puerto Pollensa the resort was fabulous and would go back but I would not recommend the Pollensa Park hotel.

Spent 2 weeks in Pollensa Park Hotel in September 2006. It is definitely a hotel for older people, I would say zimmers or push chairs, not a lot of age groups in between.
We were allocated room 111, would have been as well pitching a tent in a bus station. Buses coming and going all day and all night outside our bedroom window, no sleep.
Thomas Cook useless. Wouldn't move us. Did it ourselves and in other room when I tried to plug in my shaver, the shaver point came away from the wall.
Food was okay for the first three days, after that it all tasted the same. Ate out a lot! Hotel decor was very tired and in need of a severe updating.
Staff at reception not very helpful and sometimes downright rude. And I have to comment on Gladys Pugh. Couldn't believe it on the first morning when the xylophone pinged and expected a Hello Campers from the tannoy for the games they played for the guests, thought I was in Maplins.
The only saving grace about this hotel is the entertainment, but this was only good on about three different occasions. Apart from that it was bingo and line dancing. Not my cup of tea!
Puerto Pollensa was nice, Pollensa Park was not. Will definitely not be back and would not recommend it to anyone. Advice - try somewhere else - anywhere else!

We have just returned from 1 week in this hotel. We are both in our thirties and it was too quiet for us. If bingo every night is what you call entertainment - then book up! The hotel bar closed at 12pm every night. The entertainment was awful - not sure if it was the time of year.
The hotel was very clean and the room we had was large. Food was awful so ate out every night.
The noisy bar behind the hotel was not bad - a small English owned family business. Their entertainment was much better than the hotels! It also closed about 12.30.
We would definitely go back to the resort, but probably not the hotel as food was so poor.

My mum, my sister and I recently went on holiday to pollensa park hotel and we really enjoyed it, we thought it was a really nice hotel, very nice resort area, and great staff and entertainment throughout the holiday.
We would definitely go back again and we very much enjoyed it. The sandy beach is lovely and is walking distance along with some great bars and shops. We felt very safe in the area we stayed in and the staff and the club reps look after everyone well.
They offer great trips out which I would recommend to go on. The food is really nice and has a great wide choice to choose from. Pollensa park hotel is ideal for all age groups, it is not too noisy but has good entertainment going on throughout the day and night, so there is plenty to do. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and I’m sure I would love to go back again.

On the positive side this hotel had friendly staff, good food and was very clean, but sadly our visit was spoiled by noisy English guests and neighbouring bars.
If visiting this hotel ask for a room away from the side street bars, unless you do not mind karaoke until the early hours.
The music is switched off at midnight, but beware guests returning to their rooms who have no respect for others! Perhaps going out of season would be a better idea.

We stayed for 2 weeks - 2 adults and 2 children (13 & 7). The hotel is very clean & tidy and the food is buffet style, with lots of choice. Evening entertainment is good, and they can also offer hire cars delivered to the hotel, and their own organised trips which are sometimes cheaper than the reps and on different days. It is only a short walk to the beach.
The rooms are a good size & ours had air con and a fridge. Take a kettle if you want your own tea & coffee! However, be warned - not all rooms are suitable for 'families'. Half of the hotel backs onto a road with 2 Karaoke bars and a hotel with live entertainment. The local laws say it should stop at 12am, but it doesn't.
There is only so much Tom Jones, Elvis, and Queen impersonations your children will take whilst trying to get to sleep. Suggest you check where your room is going to be before you commit to book. Don't book a room without a balcony either.
Otherwise a good hotel that possibly needs a little modernizing decor wise, and don't forget your Bose Noise Canceling Headphones if you're planning to sleep before 12:30am!

This will be the third time we visit Puerto de Pollensa. My whole family and I love the place and would recommend this to anyone who likes a relaxed atmosphere and not to hustly bustly. The town is a friendly place. The cafes by the hotel are very good. I recommend the internet cafe because the woman who owns it is English and works most days. She is friendly and loves kids!
The beach is clean, but be warned you must get down there early in the morning to get a sun bed. There are beach cafes and bars along the beach like in Alcudia which is only a 5 minute bus journey away. Alcudia is a lively town with plenty of shops.
The hotels food is top notch. The mash potato, I think, is great! You can have a full English breakfast in the morning or just something light like cereals or fruit. The dinner is great because it offers a great wide range choice and the soup varies each day. If, when you arrive at the hotel, you arrive at night or late afternoon, the hotel offers you a small supper like meal that welcomes you into the warm friendly atmosphere of the hotel.
The rooms are large and spacious nearly every room with a balcony. Half of the rooms face onto the front of the hotel which face another small hotel which sometimes has karaoke till late! The rest of the balconies face onto the back which can be good if you can't be bothered to go outside for the entertainment. This is rare but if there is a power cut then the hotel is not very prepared. There is little light down stairways and it may affect you if you really need the lift.
The entertainment is excellent and on a two day basis offering a great line up, watch the magicians they are an excellent line up! There are your group leaders in the main entrance near reception e.g. Thomas Cook, first choice help desks which are available at most times of the day. There are meetings that you can go to if you want.
Overall all this is a great, super, smashing hotel and I recommend you go to it! Well done Pollensa Park!

Out of 11 holidays abroad, Pollensa Park was my favourite. The food was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the pool, entertainment and complex were great.
The one thing that ruined our holiday was that after the first week we had a storm and due to the mountains and marshland around the hotel, mosquitoes formed in large swarms around the pool and sunbathing terrace each day and night, leaving my 10 year old daughter with a total of 48 mosquito bites exactly!
2 years on she still has the scars - literally!
