Tosunoglu Apartments

Just got back from the tosunoglu apartments Gumbet
apartments are massive but basic.
Run by two brothers ibo and memmit will go out of thier way to make your your stay is most enjoyable.
also got the best bar man in Gumbet wee LUCKY!!!!!!!!!
Food not the best but best pint in gumbet ice cold glasses with ice cold beer
if dinnig out Mistrals and Uncle Festers is a must

really enjoyed staying at these apartments very friendly. Beautiful clean large pool. Lovely meals served at the bar chicken curry to die for and rambo the chef often prepares some good home comfort food.large clean rooms only downside is air con was in sitting room not bedroom so we moved mattresses into sitting room each night. Nice hotel would go again

I stopped here between 1aug and 15 aug what a amazing time me and my children had as well as the rest of the family who also came along there as 16 of us altoghether what a lovely friendly family atmosphere will be booking straight away for next year best regards to Rambo, jimmy, and mustaffa and everyone else at tosonglu for making our holiday a very enjoyable one see you next year

we stayed at tosunoglu for one week on the 1st to the 8th of july 2010 the apartments were clean and everyday got clean towels the pool was huge and the food compliments to Ramazan was delicious will definitely be going back again as we loved it and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The Appts are very spacious and clean, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. this family run business is the best I have experienced ,even the young children here make you feel welcome with a smile and a wave, the best Turkish night entertainment yet!!! I chose this holiday to celebrate my 50th Birthday and I certainly went home with many happy memories to share with my family. Thanks Rambo,Mustafa,Jimmy and all the crew including Levent and maids for all your hard work. We will Definately be back again next year X

Just got back from 2 weeks in Gumbet, very very hot! go to the beach there is always a lovely breeze, although not the cleanest beach in the world, but ok. The apartments were very basic, but that was not a problem, they were cleaned once a week to our knowledge, and I would honestly say that if I had been spending more time in them then I would have had to clean the room and bathroom myself again as I didn't notice a difference! Bed linen and towels changed twice a week, although the towels were clean they appeared very stained and worn looking, not a problem as we used our own, we had them laundered at the laundrette across from the apartments at a very reasonable cost. We moved all the beds into one room as the air conditioning was only in the main room, but the mattresses were very comfortable. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, and the staff always very friendly, if you want to go on any trips ask 'Rambo' behind the bar, he seems to always have a contact at a very reasonable price, but be forewarned he'll be approaching you know before you get chance to ask!
Eating out in Gumbet is very reasonable, and the food is on the whole very good, we ate alot of the Turkish dishes and had no upset stomachs! Starters of Turkish mezi and flat bread were always on the house, as was a plate of fresh fruit to finish. Bodrum is worth a visit and the hustle and bustle of the town is different to that of laid back Gumbet, Bodrum is far more lively and the harbour is wonderful,with all the varying sizes and ages of boats, if you eat out in Bodrum beware the cost will increase! although we did enjoy a couple of evenings out in Bodrum and ate at two lovely restaurants.
Just to finish of, don't miss out on an opportunity to go on a boat trip, but make sure you go via a reliable agent or Rambo!

Whoever books a holiday at the Tosunoglu Apartments is in for a treat. It's a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful place where the family who own it and staff who run it make you feel like exclusive customers. They really made my holiday.
Although the apartment facilities are basic, they are impeccably clean and very spacious. The cleaners left flowers on our beds when we left and these kind of touches really epitomise the level of thought the family put into your stay with them. Nothing is too much effort.
I would have no hesitation recommending this accommodation to anyone looking for a totally revitalising holiday and a thoroughly enjoyable time.

We were moved to here because the original place we booked into was a complete nightmare. However this place more than made up for it. This place is only rated 2 star and I think that is a shame. The romms were spotless, and the laundry changed every other day , the pool area was absolutely beautiful and the staff were so nice and a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be back there again.

kitchen:clean lot of space
bed room: 2 single comfy beds clean & cosy
bathroom:not a mark
rooms over all: well the rooms were very cosy always tidy & spotliss
staff: polite,caring & genorus
over all: brill
i also think it should be 4 1/2

turkey was the best holiday i have ever been on. if any one is going to turkey i sugerst that you stop at tosun apartments becasue it is so nice there and the workers are nice aswell . i am going back to turkey every year from now on because i had such i good time there. missing all of the friends i made but we all still keep in contact . carnt wait till i see them all again . love you charlie xxxxx
