Seasons Holidays provide a quiet get away in Dylan Thomas' famous Milk Wood. The town is just a 10 minute walk through the delightful woods. The chalets are perched on a hillside overlooking the river and the distant Pendyne sands, where the World Landspeed Records were born.
The accommodation is comfortable, with all the mod-cons and fully equipped for a relaxed hide-away holiday or midweek/weekend break.
It's due for a refurbishment and if you want to see how good Seasons are doing that, visit the Whitbarrow village in the Lake District (mind you, you need to be a Red Week member to do that).
As for taking Seasons time-share deal, I can't tell you how glad my wife and I are that we did so. With the affiliate villages and links with Interval International, we can holiday anywhere in the world virtually for the cost of the flighta (which we can book ourselves to get the best value for money).
Laugharne is just one small (slightly run-down - as already said) out of many more great holidays you can take. I recommend a trip to Laugherne in April or September.

This Seasons Holiday Park is obviously overdue for a complete redevelopment by Seasons but the staff are enthusiastic and helpful in their efforts to make sure everyone has a holiday that is enjoyable.
The park is set in the hillside above Dylan Thomas boathouse home where "Under Milk Wood" was written.(Try the bread from Dai Bakers). It has a wonderful view across the estuary to the Gower and North Devon on a clear day.
We spent a week before Easter in 2009, the weather was good for the most part and the countryside round the park was filled with daffodils, primroses, with wild alyssum and garlic in the hedgerows.
It is a place to rejoin with nature at its best, unspoilt as it is by motorways, amusement parks and rowdy pubs, but I suspect not for too much longer.
Enjoy a relaxing holiday where time has stood still for 50 years. The lodges and interiors may not be the height of luxury but they are clean and functional.
It serves as a wonderful base to tour the wonderful countryside and coast of West Wales.

The holiday lodge was very clean and spacious, no complaints there.
On the downside the whole site was in complete darkness when we arrived at 9pm, no lighting at all and it took us a long time to find the clubhouse to register and get our key.
When we found our lodge it was all so dark we had trouble getting the key in and the lodge itself was freezing cold, not at all welcoming. It did cheer up when we put the heating and lights on.
Next morning a holiday rep rang us and told us we should be at a meeting with him. Well this turned out he wanted to sell us a time share and we had trouble getting him off the phone - we had no intention of spending 90 minutes with him discussing something we had no intention of buying.
That has totally put me off seasons holidays. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Laugharne is a pretty coastal village with a castle. the nearby resort of Saundersfoot is really pretty and Tenby also a lovely resort. South Wales is a nice place for a holiday, quiet and peaceful, pretty coastline.
I would not recommend joining Seasons Holidays though.

we spent a week at laugharne park last august and ended our relationship with seasons holidays as a result. your drive into the site is memorable for the rows of dilapidated 50's holiday shacks that should have been pulled down a long time ago. the reception is small and untidy. we arrived at our cottage which was on an incredibly steep hill which meant that you either took oxygen tanks to help you survive the walk back up the hill after a night out or you just drove. the accomodation was tatty and needed some refurbishment. we were visited soon after our arrival by the salesman allocated to our cottage. he found me on line trying to find other accommodation so he didn't feel the need to meet up later in the week so we were left alone and nobody bothered us about buying into the company. after complaining our money was returned and they didn't want us as members any more. so beware!!!!!
