We have just got back from a wonderful week at es port and would highly recommend it. Our superior double room was not available on our first night and we were given a room in the original part of the house, it was lovely. Traditional room and very spacious. The next day we... more

Going back again....!
Going to the Hotel Es Port in 2007 for the 3rd August running..only this time with a bigger party of us (8). I'm not going to repeat some of the specific positives and negatives of previous reviewers but urge visitors to take a much wider view of the hotel and its surrounds. Last year was noisy with local construction work but the hotel gave us 8% discount on our bill for the aggro...they didn't have to do that, we never asked for it. The hotel have emailed me and stated that there will be no builing work going on this summer. The... more
our 6th visit
we have stayed at the es port many times now and are never dissapointed. We have taken family members, friends and my daughter and son in law had a lovely honeymoon there in august 2005. The only criticism is the fact that they will never guarantee a particular room however early you book. we have our favourite rooms which we ask for but do not always get. However the staff are very obliging and so try to be helpful in this regard. June 2006 was a little dissapointing due to the noisy work but we HAD been warned.I think we will try... more
Bit of a mixed bag really
We stayed at the Es Port for ten days in September 2006. We were met by a barrage of noise very close to the hotel, - steel girders being sawn(?), bolts being hammered into steel girders, a bulldozer almost constantly sounding its reversing beeper, a buzz saw cutting vegetation. But this was not the hotel's fault. It came from a commendable public project to re-route traffic around the back of the resort via a tunnel and a new road to a multi-story car park, thus allowing the sea-front to be pedestrianised. As far as we could see this... more
Superbly situated quiet and relaxing
Just returned from our first holiday for many years (self employed! ) We had a really relaxing time at this Hotel which we find hard to believe is only 3 Star rated. The Hotels web site gives a good idea of its character and facilities. We stayed on half board terms but intended to eat out occasionally however the evening buffet style menus were so inviting we left this until our last night!. We own a food based business and anyone with a love of good basic cooking will be happy here. Try to get seated in the huge covered... more
Lovely hotel but......
I have just returned from a week at the es port puerto soller. This hotel is a lovely old manor house, full of character, in attractive gardens with ponds and shady places to sit. The pool is well kept with plenty of sun beds and a poolside bar which offers ok food at reasonable prices. Our room was in the newer extension which is not the most attractive part of the hotel but the room was of a reasonable size with attractive rustic style wooden furnishings, and very clean. The bathrooms here are clean but rather dingy .The shower was... more
Once a good hotel, now disappointing
We had stayed in Es Port several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided to return in June 2006. We specifically booked a room in the Finca as the new building is not very attractive and poorly constructed. The old Finca and the grounds are beautiful with a large welcoming pool. Unfortunately, despite our booking, we were placed in the new building. We had only one towel between the two of us. The room was small, not very private (balconies were close and totally unscreened) and the bed very soft cheap foam. The shower... more
A Good Hotel - but there is still come construction work
There is still some construction work taking place on the Soller tunnel and in an adjacent building. However, the noise disturbance is not too bad and the construction noise is reduced through the substantial shutters. Overall, good hotel considering the price and the facilities. The Swimming Pool was great with plenty of free sun loungers. The dining area was superb with the hanging grapes and other exotic fruit. The breakfast was a little unadventurous but still of a high enough quality. The rooms were small but functional and... more
A hotel full of character
The hotel is lovely - absolutely beautiful gardens and spotlessly clean. This is a hotel full of character - dating back to 1614. There are so many places to sit - sun and shade and a lovely outdoor pool - the best we have ever had I think. A couple of ponds complete with lots of frogs who make a lot of noise!! Location is great - just a couple of minutes walk to the front. Most certainly not for those with any form of mobility problems - loads of steps and uneven surfaces everywhere. A WORD OF WARNING - there is a new tunnel... more
Es Port Hotel is a Fabulous Hotel
Es port Hotel is a Fabulous Hotel. Date June 2005,2004 & 2003. Tripadvisor member Birmingham, England. I have stayed at this hotel for a week in June for the last 3 years. I went with 7/8 other ladies for a girly week. The Es Ports rooms are very comfortable we prefer rooms over the tennis courts, food is great especially the sweets and the barman does the best Martini and Tonic ever. The atmosphere at EP is really relaxing and the pool and pool bar are great. Needless to say I am going to EP again this year in June but with... more
Lovely hotel, lovely resort, lovely island!
My family and I (2 adults, 1 grandparent and 2x 3yr olds!) have stayed several times at this hotel, booking direct with them via telephone/fax. It is a family run hotel right next to the harbour at Port Soller. The rooms are good (especially those next to the swimming pool) and the meals are all buffet style with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The tram to Soller town is 1min away. Plenty of (free)parking space on site if you hire a car for your holiday. I really recommend this hotel to you - I'm sure you will return, like us, again... more
