This hotel is big spacious and brilliant for wheelchair users. The rooms are big and you can transfer from both sides of the bed. If you need to hire a hoist there is plenty of room for one. You can wheel straight under the sink and has a mirror you can actually use. The... more

Solid Value
from Quinnly
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at end of March. We got a great rate through travelzoo that included a suite and breakfast buffet and we took it since we knew our golf fees were going to be through the roof. Overall, very pleased with choice. We did not get a suite the first night so they dropped the rate 20.00 a night. One thing about suite and sofa sleeper. It can only accomodate one person so don't count on it fitting more than one extra person if you need it. Thought staff was friendly and warm. The breakfast buffet was better than I expected. Lots of choices. We were pleased. Housekeeping was average, but we are pretty sloppy. We were not there for Disney or Universal, but locations to all sites was quite good, especially Disney. I thought rooms were clean. Even pool area was nice, although we did not use it. Chrissy
Very nice
from Riis_7
This was another [------------]purchase (2 1/2 star for $75), although I am a Marriott Reward Member. When I arrived early to check in (2,instead of 3) the front desk was helpful. He was unable to find a room right away, but took my cell number and called me within 15 minutes. I was skeptical because of the [-----------]purchase. However, my daughters and I were pleasantly surprised with a 3rd floor room with a balcony and view of one of their pools. The room was spacious with 2 beds, nicely decorated and CLEAN with no odors! We had just a bit of a problem w/ the a/c - heater unit. The switches were off and instead of cooling it heated....but we figured it out and got it worked out. We had a cool room in no time. The beds were very very comfortable with light goosedown (I think, but may have been faux) duvets.....very cozy and warm. The pools and jacuzzi were lovely. They closed at 11pm. Some guests were complaining about this (thought it should be 24 hours). I was happy. I didn't have to ask the kids to come in by 11 - they knew it closed. Also, this avoids having a lot of noise for the guests staying near the pool area. There was a nice little play area for children and a game room, free computer access in their lobby. Complimentary coffee in the morning and popcorn in the afternoon. The breakfast buffet was an extra cost. For the price it was worth it. Hearing the doors SLAM was annoying -they are quite loud and at night and early morning this was not good. All in all, it was nice and we would stay again.
Excellent location and value
from gilbert02
My husband and I stayed here March 10-14th. Chose hotel due to its proximity to Disney, as we were there to attend Braves spring training. The location is wonderful. Right by my favorite restaurant in Orlando, Pebbles. Also, a Disney entrance (the one closest to Downtown Disney) is a stoplight away. We arrived very early (before lunch) and were immediately given a room - it was room 131 if you are interested. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. Air conditioning worked great. The only complaint I have was that the shower's water pressure was not good. Free wireless internet in the rooms was a plus. I believe we paid $129 a night, which for Orlando during spring break isn't bad at all. One thing to note/watch out for: the hotel has a ticket desk and they try to sell you a timeshare visit in exchange for discount Disney tickets. We didn't do this because we didn't want to waste some of our vacation time. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Great Location - Calm and Quiet
from carol41363
I got a special rate of $79 for a suite so I could not pass it up. Overall the hotel was great. Bathroom needed some work as far as cosmetics (stains on wallpaper/peeling) but otherwise great. My issue was housekeeping and personnel. I had my 4 grandkids with me for a trip to Universal and Disney. We came back to the room at 3:30 p.m. for a nap and 15 minutes later housekeeping comes knocking on the door to clean the room. At 4:00 p.m.? Then was upset when we said come back later. Every night around 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. the same housekeeping lady would come knock on the door to bring us one small bottle of water and a chocolate. Well the knock on the door so late at night (and persistant) woke everyone up. Oh and that reminds me. My first night there the phone rings at 2:30 a.m. with the front desk calling with a wake up call and said, ooops wrong room. None of the housekeeping can speak english as we tried to communicate with them when they "accidently" picked up one of my granddaughters brand new outfits with the towels (we assume). And front desk personnel are just as clueless. The only one helpful was the attractions person. My room rate included free breakfast for adults and 1/2 price for kids. Restaurant hostess said that may be the hotels special but not the restaurants special and charged us full price for the kids. I would stay again because of the location but only if I get the same rate. Otherwise, I saw many other hotels reasonably priced along the way. (Trans. to Disney was good but unpredictable).
Nice improvements in the past year
from vickier
My 15 year old son and I stayed at this Courtyard on March 15-17, 2006. Our check-in was quick and the person checking us in was friendly and helpful. We got a room with a balcony on the 3rd floor. My son and I stayed at this property last June and there have been several improvements since then. There was new carpeting in our room and all new bedding. We got a great rate of $59.00 a night and that included their full breakfast buffet. I would stay here again and at $59.00 a night, I feel that I got a real bargain.
Great place to stay!
from castanea
We had a lovely clean room with a balcony, which we didn't expect! The hotel was clean, tidy and everything you would expect from the Marriott chain. We would have preferred a refrigerator, but at $10 extra per day, we chose a polystyrene cooler instead!! Did the trick! The hotel is within walking distance to many good restaurants, like Pebbles (liked by the locals), the Olive Garden, and TGI Fridays. You can also walk to Downtown Disney, although that is a little farther. Its a great place to stay.
Nice hotel
from A TripAdvisor Member
This hotel are nice, but the staff is bad, because my key was inactivated in yhe evening, and upon returning after dinner ( my kids sleeping in the ground ) . Overal this hotel is nice, clean, the rooms large and confortable. I hope stay there again.
Worth the price
from HansonLam
At USD79/night, the price is really worth what you paid for. Room is clean, breakfast is excellent - hot, fresh and lots of choices - waffle, pancake, sausage, beacons, scrambled eggs, fruits, muffins, bagels, etc. Wireless internet access and free breakfast was included when booked through CAA. My wife is picky but she was very happy with the clean room and the beds are comfortable. My friend who travlled with us and stayed at this hotel for a couple of days but moved over to the Hyatt International Airport for business reason regretted that he did not stayed with us as he likes the breakfast very much. One review comments on noises from next door but we were never bothered even though my wife and I are sensitive to noises. I find the lobby and corridors quiet with occasional noises made by excited kids. Remember to tip the cleaning lady and the servers. You get good services in return. Staff at front desk are courteous and helpful. I misplaced my key once and I was issued one right away. I requested additional toiletries twice and was delivered to me in minutes. We will stay at the same hotel on our next trip to Orlando.
No complaints

Good value hotel in an excellent locations, Downtown Disney marketplace is 2 miles away, or $6 dollars by taxi. Hotel has 2 pools the two weeks we were there 16-30th June there was plenty of beds and towels available at no time did they become crowded. Hotel only has shuttles to Disney parks, you can get taxis to Seaworld for $13 and uniersal parks for $20 one way. Rooms were kept clean and tidy with towels replaced daily. Free tea and coffee available thru out the day. For shopping Orlando premium outlets is nearest (2 miles) or again $6 by taxi. Places to eat are close by (across the road) they have plenty of choices pizzas, steaks, sushi as well as the usual Macdonalds, burger kings Pizza hut all within 5 mins walking distance.
Good place to stay
from chavez_10
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for over a week. We were very pleased with the room and pool areas. The staff was nice. The cleaning lady was great, our room always looked good. There is a grocery store nearby for bringing snacks/drinks to your room. All Disney attractions were close and after we got oriented easy to get to. Only small complaint was the hotel restaurant which was only so-so on quality. We only ate breakfast there once. But with restaurants close by, this was not an issue. I would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel during our 2 week holiday last August (2007). We travelled as a family of 4 (2 ads & 2 kids - 1 & 6). I found this hotel to be in a great location for the Disney Parks - about 5 mins or less drive to Downtown Disney. I think there is a courtsey... more
