There was 9 of us that went this September (2006) we only went for a week but wish it were 2 as we all had a fab time. And weather was about 32 degrees all week!
The entertainment was great, the reps are always doing something (I don't think they actually sleep!) Around the pool they will do activities all day for children and adults. In the evening they have a mini disco for the children, then a bit of adult fun time which is really fun - I suggest to anyone that goes to join in! Then they do a disco for everyone till early morning! The reps also did a "Grease" show which was really good!
It is quite a stomp to the town across the beach and up a thousand steps but it is worth it, especially if you go to the English Cafe (they do really good food!) I wasn't to keen on the complex restaurant only because everything I wanted they didn't have!
The pool is really nice and there was always enough sunbeds for everyone. The snack bar by the pool is great too especially their chicken baguettes, you've got to try it.
The apartments were tidy and cleaned everyday. Although the cups aren't big enough you literally have one sip and our drinks gone, we went and bought some mugs.
Our holiday was really good this year and there's nothing really that I can fault. We had a one year old and a three year old who were well entertained all the time.
I recommend this resort to everyone families, couples, children, adults, and teenagers as there is always something going on to occupy everyone.
I am also hoping to go back therenext year in September 2007.

After arriving back from Cala Domingos yesterday all I can say is what a holiday! Was so nice to reach a resort where the people are so friendly, Amy, Gemma, Rachel, Raul your included! Nice bar, pool, beach, a long walk up into town, but it was worth it.
The villa was quite big, only thing was the cleaner wasn’t very efficient, didn’t really do a lot of cleaning, we done most of it. Other than that we could walk out of our villa and be welcomed by sunshine and the view of the blue sea. I would love to go back to Cala Domingos and be a club rep, I have decided after seeing what Gemma, Amy and Rachel etc do, I fully attempt to become a rep.
I highly recommend people to go to Cala Domingos in 2007 as it is amazing! I speak on behalf of myself, Ann, Natalie and Beth. (Amy and Gem you should know who I am now)

We arrived back from Mallorca yesterday and were missing it already. The rooms were great they were big and clean.
The only thing is the cleaner didn’t bother coming after a few days. The entertainment was great the staff was fab easy to talk to and approachable. They are a talented bunch and made my holiday enjoyable so thanks Dan, Gemma, Amy and Kelly.
Altogether it was a good holiday.

My husband and I went to this resort for the second year running but this year only the two of us went.
The entertainment was good and the reps were friendly and very helpful. The main town was easy to get too just a small stroll across the beach but it did get hard to see where to go after dark because the beach was pitch black. The food was very good in the resort and also some very nice restaurants in the main town.
The daytime was very relaxing with some good poolside activities and competitions. We are gutted this was the last year for the first choice teams as they could not be faulted.

Went to Club Domingos in June with my daughter and my friend. accommodation was nice bit of a walk from reception to apt pool was lovely went down to pool at 9 every morning left at 6 went up town at 7.30.
Only problem I had was the walk to town because you have to go across the beach or walk around road which is to far. We went to the same restaurant every night which was the Mallorca restaurant food was very good the waiters were very nice we ad our photos done with them.
We'd go back to our apartments for the nights entertainment which was good I would go back it was a nice quiet holiday the weather was ok.

This is one of the best family holidays I've ever had on a budget! Got a really good price for 2 adults and 3 kids so was slightly concerned it may not be the best, but I can’t fault the accommodation, resort or entertainment. It is best for families, I’d say kids above pushchair age, so around 4 up to about 11 as the nightlife isn’t great for teens or couples, but we took a 4 year old and two 6 year olds who absolutely loved every minute - which is just what us mums want! I'd love to go again, I always like Majorca and this holiday did not disappoint.

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a week’s vacation at Club Cala Domingos Apartments where on the whole we had a good time. The apartments are spacious and cleaned on a regular basis. The pool side and bar complex are kept clean and tidy. It’s an ideal place to relax and let the kids play and have fun.
Food is basic but relatively cheap. On the downside the complex is rather isolated and the walk to the beach needs the greatest of care with or without kids. The road infrastructure has seen better days and the entrance to the beach is very hazardous with numerous pot holes to avoid. The whole area to the back of the beach looks tatty especially the open bins on the approach. The walk to town in the evening across the beach can be a challenge and this was pointed out to the reps at the time by 3 young girls who felt intimidated by the lack of lighting (none) in the vicinity.
The rep suggested that they buy a torch! The alternative walk to town down a dead end road and up a very steep set of steps was equally poor, especially if you have young kids, pushchairs or find walking difficult. Apart from this I found the town adequate if a little lacking in decent restaurants serving real Spanish food. There are plenty of shops willing to sell you trashy holiday souvenirs and cheap clothing. The beach itself was great and didn’t seem to get overcrowded. It was clean and the waters are lovely and clear. On the whole I still enjoyed my holiday.
Just one other point to note. Check to see what time you need to vacate your room by. Unfortunately for me I was required to vacate at 12 noon on a Thursday for a 4:35am Friday flight home, some 14 hrs 35 minutes early. I did however manage to buy the room for 12 hrs at a cost of 35€, but during peak season this could be difficult. It seems that the 7 nights you pay for includes the night before your departure even when on a different day. Check with travel operators to clarify.

The complex and staff are excellent as are all of the reps and entertainers.
The kids activities and crèche were superb and any problems we had with the accommodation were resolved the same day.
My kids were 13,10 and 2 and all had a great holiday the complex is a 15 minute (uphill) walk into the main resort so older people may struggle. The water in the bay is crystal clear and full of fish so great for snorkelling overall a great safe family resort.
I have heard First choice may not have the hotel next year also so worth checking as this will affect the kid’s entertainment crèche etc.

My friend and I opted for a last minute booking with allocation on arrival. So we were quite disappointed to find ourselves in the middle of nowhere at 4am, especially as we had e-mailed First Choice and asked if we could go to a lively resort.
The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival, spacious with 2 good sized balconies. However, the apartment was not cleaned everyday, and often the maids did not leave toilet roll, which we frequently asked reception for and still never got. The kitchen was basic with fridge, microwave and 2 hobs. There is no air-conditioning, only a ceiling fan in the bedroom, which can make it uncomfortable at night.
I cannot comment about the entertainment/food at Cala Domingos as we spent every evening in Calas de Mallorca. It was a bit of a trek to get there over the beach and up the steps. Not a lot of choice in restaurants. The Chinese restaurant and D'Alfrils Pizzeria were the best. The best bars to go to were Papagayo’s and Tiffany’s.
The swimming pool area was nice, with plenty of sun loungers and shade. The beach was nice and ideal for children. I would say this resort is good for families, not so good for adults without children in their party.

Had a great flight from Birmingham, Was dealt with quickly at Palma jumped on to a minibus and within the hour we reached Calas Domingos Apartments. Very nice apartments set on a small hillside very spacious lovely gardens, all individual spread out with only neighbours above or below depending if you have a balcony or terrace.
1 minute walk to the Reception were you find marble floors etc, a big pool with small pool attached for kids and also a separate pool for babies. A bar consisting of San Miguel or Mangers and various spirits about £2.00 a pint, I usually went to mini mart next door to get beer. Food is ok usual burgers etc. Nice relaxing setting music playing, plenty for kids to do with reps, but reps do get on your nerves asking who wants to go to sand pitch and play football etc, lovely and peaceful most of time no idiots very family orientated.
Restaurant very nice steak was beautiful and the Garlic Prawns, Nigh time there is a indoor bar area with dance floor, first choice reps entertaining or though it isn’t that great but kids love it.
Beach 5 minute walk but was very hot, not crowded at all sea was a bit rough. The town is a ten minute walk but don’t go the beach way its much quicker to go the path/road way and all week we never saw a car use the road! Town very nice proper Spain, lots to do, go karts are great for kids, Pizza at Dalfil was beautiful, Chinese Beef Curry in china town lovely, people great, no worries at all. Beautiful place will definitely go back this time next year weather was great.
Departure home was busy at Palma but hey we had a great time and kids loved it. Nice and quiet but not to quiet just enough and not too little! This is Spain as I remember it 15 years ago, no Carling black label or Red Lion pubs in sight!
