What a way to relax...........
from Bimbee69
My husband and I booked through an internet based travel agent and nearly chose not to go due to some of the negative reviews on this website. But we can catagorically say,if your looking for a clean, friendly and relaxing environment then this is the hotel for you. Soller is a vibrant town and the Port of Soller, where this hotel is located is a beautiful, charming and picturesque port where you can relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and beautiful boats/yachts. We could not fault the hotel at all. From the friendly...

Excellent hotel
from Janawl
We were very impressed by this hotel. The location was excellent, only a minute's walk from the beach. There was a lovely pool - and what is important - there was never any problem getting a sunbed by the pool. There was also lots of shade. our room was beautiful, with a view of the pool and a slight view of the sea through the trees. It was a shady balcony which meant that it was pleasant to sit on all day if you wished. We enjoyed the food very much and felt the quiet, relaxed ambience very much to our taste. We will definitely...

4 wonderful days
from tunafishOslo
Some of the reviews of Aimia have been very negative, and that surprises me and my family. We thought this was an excellent hotel. We chose the hotel because it is a boutique hotel with rather god reviews, close to the beach/port and because it is rather small with a nice pool area. We stayed there for 4 days. We liked the rooms, the pool area, the meals we had (lunch every day and one dinner). It was OK for children to play in pool, which is no matter of course in many hotels in my experience. The staff was also friendly. It was easy to...

Good hotel, would like to stay again
from PaulFinchley
A lot of reviews on here are quite negative which surprised me as I thought this was an excellent hotel. Sure it has no charm - but what do you expet in the med? the rooms are big enough and well designed. All rooms have balconies with either a sea view (more expensive) or moutain view. The pool is big and an ideal place to relax by, The indoor spa is small but good fun (the range of showers and jacuzzi are impressive). Breakfast was delicious. And the location is superb. It really is a lovely little place. I hope to visit again and hope...

Double booking con artists!
from Lisegirl
Dont bother with this place - Im not the first to write about them overbooking - its disgusting ( see Jerfreeds earlier review). I booked in April on Hotels.com and got instant confirmation. Aimia took my deposit straight away ( confirmation I would think) . Just to make sure I wrote to them about rooms etc and got notes back. It was a special surprise for our anniversarry so I wanted it to be nice. So you can imagine my horror to arrive there and they tell me they are overbooked and Im staying down the road! I was furious as it had...

overpriced and dissappointing
from Glenagalt
Our expensive 'sea view' double room was in fact a side sea room and straight across was a very large hotel whose many balconies looked straight into our bedroom. We had no privacy at all unless we kept our curtains fully closed. The sun terrace and pool area was small but adequate and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very limited. We went for breakfast each morning about 9am. The cooked breakfast was sitting in a lidded hot plate and several mornings there was little left and no effort made to refill it....

aimia breakfast
from snei
stayed at the Aimia hotel from the 8th May, facilities, rooms, cleanliness, reception staff, excellent. The hotel is well situated just off the front, however parking a car is problematic, up to a hundred metres away. breakfast choice was good, however cold boiled eggs poor. When staff asked for warmed boiled eggs this was impossible [confused- I was]. When the chef was asked for simple scrambled eggs this appeared problematic, then provided grudgingly. The restaurant service staff were not the problem they tried to assist Overall...

Lola Luna Found Fantastic Romantic Getaway
from LolaLunaScotland
We have just returned from the Hotel Aimia - we booked the junior suite for a romantic weekend. It was fab! The photos on their website do not do this hotel justice - the junior suite was modern, clean and spacious. The jacuzzi bathroom was large and we also had separate cloakroom toilet. The lounge area had plasma tv and mini bar. The bed was huge with crisp egyptian cotton sheets. The staff were friendly, helpful and appeared to be happy at their work. We only ate breakfast in the Hotel but you could not fault the choice. We went in...

Beware their overbooking policy!
from jerfreed
We booked two rooms in July 2007 and arrived in October to be told 'we are overbooked, you are staying in another hotel down the road!' They obviously have an overbooking policy. So -10 for the "welcome" at reception. Not really interested that no contact had been attempted with us or our travel agent. Very, very disappointed, especially in view of all the praise!
The little Hotel that could
from jimmyboyros
Its taken me quite a while to write my views on this hotel, i think its cos i wantto keep it to myself. Me and my wife have just come back from 4 days at this fantastic hotel, and I have to say it was worth the extra money. The hotel was clean, very modern, the staff were extremeley helpful and plesent, even the maids said hello to us with a smile, and i have never experienced that. The pool whilst on the small side was again clean, no fag butts etc, plenty of sunbeds but then this hotel never seemed to have more than 12 people...
