Inn at Oak Plantation Hotel

we stayed 4/3nights. our rooms were very clean and set up for us. the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. i like that they have printed instructions on how to get to the theme parks and wal-mart. that informations handy becouse theres a refrigerator and microwave. we did the tour. we had mark, he was very friendly. we had alot of laughts. we were not pressured at all, very friendly people. my family and i would not hesitate in going back, and i would tell my friends and other people to stay there.

I found this hotel through one of the online ads for timeshares. It was $99 plus tax for 3 nights plus 2 disney tickets. This was a good deal. The hotel is by no means a dump (some other reviews say it is). It is clean, but it is a small room and I would definitely call it a motel. My BIGGEST issue is with the free shuttle to disney. We booked 4 days 3 nights through eBay at $99 at this hotel. Let me start by saying that you get your money’s worth in this resort. The hotel has been renovated and everything inside the room is new. You get a king bed and a sleeper sofa as well as a sink, mini frig, microwave, coffee maker. They call it a studio suite which is basically a regular room with a half-wall separator. I really enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Oak Plantation. I stayed there for 4 days and everything was nice. The room was clean and looked just like the photos on the website. I noticed that some of the reviews stated that there was no room service; however, everyday that we returned to our rooms, they had been cleaned and towels had been restocked. The staff was also friendly. The next time I vacation in Florida, I will stay at the Inn at Oak Plantation.

Our group stayed at the Inn at Oak Plantation the second week of June, which was recommended by the Give Kids the World organization. The room and grounds were what I expected for a 2 star hotel. The rooms could have used some updating, but were fine for our purposes. They certainly offered a nice value for the price. The Inn consists of a series of townhouses that are grouped in a circle. I stayed there for 5 nights with my husband and my daughter. I got the room really cheap with the commitment of going to the timeshare presentation which was supposed to take 90 minutes. Instead it took 2 hours. The salesman was very nice but at the end when we said no, they had another gentleman put a little pressure on us. Finally they left us alone and never were bothered again. We got a good deal on this run through one of the sites on the internet. Others I work with did the "time share" thing to get the lower priced rooms from other resorts and loved it. They got free vacations and gifts along with top notch treatment for a whole week. They usually had stories of gift certificates to theme parks and gift certificates for dinner. This is what I got. My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. We stayed at the resort last year and thought it was quite lovely. We got a call to come and stay at the Inn (which is located just outside of the resort), as a special offer because we stayed there last year. We looked at some pictures of the Inn and thought it was very nice and where we stayed there last year and had such a nice time we decided to stay. My husband and I spent six nights at the Inn at Oak Plantation. We booked this place about two weeks prior to our arrival (used a well known travel website) and were happy to get a nice place at a great rate on such short notice. Being we didn’t book through the hotel’s website or a discount hotel broker we weren't bothered by the timeshare people--didn't even get approached. We ended up at this location due to one of those telemarketer time share come on phone calls. They had the dates we needed and quick check of the web showed a nice enough property that would meet the needs of the family/Disney vacation. On the plus side the room was very nice, more up scale than we had anticipated, if a bit smaller than had been promised (by the telemarketer).
