Days Inn Hotel

I needed a one night stop over for my vacation and I searched everywhere and came upon the Holiday Inn Express - Davenport and I was very happy with my choice. We stayed at the HI Express on Hotel Drive on our final night before catching an early morning flight home from our summer Disney vacation. (Had stayed in a resort for the previous 7 nights) This place is new, but it hardly deserves to be ranked as a five star, as previous reviews have suggested. Really? Five star?? The place is brand new,. The staff is excellent, especially the male manager. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Its at least 10-15mins to disney. about 20-30 mins to universal. We will definitely go back.

We stayed at this motel while my husband had Mini-gastric bypass surgery at Heart of Florida Medical Center. The price of the surgery included a place to stay elsewhere for free. That motel was 20 plus miles from the hospital. We have two special needs teenagers, who wanted to accompany us on our trip. We picked this motel because it is only 4 miles from the hospital, so that I could easily go back and forth. The hotel was only 3 months new when we stayed there. Spacious and quiet room with flat screen TV. The bathroom could be a bit bigger though but was nicely furnished in cherry red wood panels. Breakfast bar is the standard Holiday Inn style buffet and the sitting area is huge. Fast and free iinternet. Stayed at a rate of $52 at the time.

Clean large room. Great location for a trip to amusement parks, about 10 minutes from Disney, away from the congested traffic. We stayed on the top (5th) floor and had great wireless internet. A lot TV channels to choose from. Small refrigerator in the room was nice. Bathroom was clean and nice with good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was good, it starts at 6:30 AM and some of the breakfast items were not set out until after 7:00. Our stay at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS was nothing less than PERFECT!!!! Perfect in every way. If you have any doubt about booking here let me erase that from your mind. Less than 15 minutes away from Disney 20 minutes away from Sea World . The room was fantastic ....big clean brand new....flat screen televisions ....above any holiday inn i have stayed in. We were in the Orlando are for about a week for my wife to have surgery. Her procedure was a fairly routine outpatient procedure and we needed a comfortable place to stay while she recovered for five or six days. I intended to use some of my many Choice Privileges points at a Comfort Inn or other Choice Hotel. I checked my Priority Club (Holiday Inn) points and discovered I had more that I thought (16,000). The hotel is brand new - just opened in Feb...Great room..flat screen tv, nice bathroom (granite counters)...contintenal breakfast worked fine...We got a great rate - $63 per night...hotel is just a few exits past Disney. We would stay there again.

This hotel was super nice, flat screen TV, nice bedding free breakfast and I forgot to mention that it is brand new. I am looking forward to go back to Orlando and to stay in this wonderfor hotel.
