Fantastic holiday. Hotel food a little repetitive, but perfectly nice, usually plenty of variety.
Animators very entertaining and helpful, waiters friendly, particularly Bernard at the Pool bar and Eric Okuku up in the restaurant. Lenox and Philipe both excellent animators. Security excellent.
My only complaint being the beach boys, at all resorts so there is no escaping but security at Diani Sea made sure you were ok and dealt with them if you needed them too.
Sea not as clear as I had expected, but pool beautiful and clean, plenty of beds available, even by the sea, without having to touch the main beach.
Excellent value, try Kenpal for Safari, highly recommend, so much cheaper than booking with your rep, and silver service guaranteed. See Peter in the Kenpal hut across the road turn right, just 1 minute.
You also get a choice of lodges and like us can combine your salt lick with Tsarvo east and west for half the price, 3 days £200 each, 4 of us went rather than the 6 you get stuck with the reps, more room, much more fun.

Kuoni have been running special offers to this resort in Kenya for the last couple of months.
We paid half what other couples had for a week all inclusive. It is only a 3 star hotel so don't expect 5 star luxury but I found the resort had everything we needed.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were perfectly adequate, and the buffet food very good compared with other resorts we have been to on an all inclusive basis.
The beach is absolutely beautiful but apart from a quick dip most people didn't use the beach because of the beach vendors who we found quite amusing and friendly but can be persistent.
You can have a lounger just in front of the beach and still take in the view though but because you are on hotel grounds and there are security staff, the vendors stay away.
We absolutely loved Kenya and did a short safari also which is a real must if you go all that way - it was an unforgettable experience. We felt quite safe to go out and about in the daytime although at night took taxis on the rep's recommendation.
We cannot wait to go back there someday. I would recommend this hotel but don't expect 5 star luxury.
